Aldi is okay to me, not my favorite store, I usually don't find anything here that I would eat. They do have low prices, this location is one of the larger Aldi's I've been too with a decent amount of parking. The lines can get very long and very slow, sometimes they only have one register open. You do have to bag your own groceries and I've had quarters stuck in the carts a couple of times. read more

I love ALDI but there is one big problem. They dont make the effort to price many things, most of which are in the frozen freezer fixture that lies low to the ground. Today I just counted NINE items in it that I might have bought but just left for someone who doesnt care about price to buy. And people that dont care about price seldom shop at ALDI so those items will probably get freezer burn before some fool tosses them in a cart. I have filled out the Aldi Surveys, talked to a very nice lady in Corporate who seemed very concerned about this problem but NOTHING CHANGES. A price scanner would be wonderful if they would put one in. This isnt just a problem at this ALDI, its most every ALDI, its just that I was at this one today. The stores do get a pile of price labels, but they dont seem to take pricing seriously. There were other shoppers looking at some of these same products as me and none of them opted to put the unpriced items in their cart either. Let me put pictures below of some of the no price items today at this Aldi. I sometimes ask to talk to a manager but that doesnt often work. It just seems to be hopeless. I see when they get the new prices tags in they have quite a few in pile and it must not be that easy. Another idea maybe find a way to put the price label on the box so there is no excuse to just give up and throw all these items in the freezer unpriced. read more

Aldi is awesome!!! I really can't tell what they did with the remodel but I was glad they opened. They are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than every grocery store I know including WAlmart. I would say about 40% or so. When I go in, I usually grab the ad ( they have it by the door) and look and see what the specials are then grab those seasonal fruits and veggies on sale or not. They have organic items, fresh meat, veggies and everything. They are smaller, choices less, but quality over quantity out of your pocket. You can afford to eat healthy here. Cashiers are quick and expeditious. They are the chick fil a of grocery cashiers with fast friendly service. Then you grab the next weeks ad on your way out and plan for the following week! read more

Everything was good other than the customer service. As I was checking out a cashier (female) rushed me out of line and then proceeded to move my cart with my baby in it I pulled it back because my child will try to climb out and I asked her not to do that and she gave me the ickiest look. I know the line is long but I wasn't going slow and there was no need to rush me like that. I know that customer service is very different nowadays but it needs to change cause I cannot with the attitude. You have to fake it until you make it if you are going to deal with people! read more

This is my go to weekly grocery store. You will typically find me here on Sunday as I prepare for my week. I love the store even more since the recent remodel. The store is more aesthetically pleasing. It's little changes like the wider aisles and the display of the items that make a big difference. Currently I am obsessed with getting the pre-prepared salads. They offer like 3-4 varieties, at a cost of like $2.89, no more than $3.00! If I were to purchase a salad from another grocery store it would easily cost upward of $8.00. The variety of options is insane at this store. You have your fresh fruits and veggies, dairy, meat, frozen items, condiments, canned goods, and wine. It may appear to be smaller than the main grocery stores in the area like Kroger and Publix, but I can assure you that you can find everything you need at Aldi. The staff, and patrons are always friendly. I have never received anything less than great customer service at this store. Please note that you will need a quarter for a buggy and money for bags if you don't bring your own. read more

This location was closed for several weeks and reopened in May. The store now resembles the Buckhead location and is spacious with wider aisles and more room to walk. The store sells some name brand items but mostly Aldi brand and generic brand. Many of the items are cheaper than other area grocery stores and big box stores. The staff is always helpful but they never have enough cashiers at checkout. There are no bags given at Aldi. You have to bag your groceries and bring your own reusable bags. If you want a cart, you pay a quarter and receive the quarter back once the cart is returned. Aldi stores are not open as long as other grocery stores in the area so I always have to make sure I visit this location early since it does get crowded. read more

A decent choice for inexpensive groceries. After having some issues with this location, customer service has seemed to get somewhat better over time. While there are still chronically long lines here, I feel that a move in the positive direction has been made to give shoppers a better experience. Food selection here varies and seems to be middle-of-the-pack compared to other Aldi's. While you can find some great deals here, I don't often find items here that are not available at other Aldi locations. The quality of produce is hit and miss, which seems to be a common theme for Aldi. A recent visit featured bags of cranberries that were wilted and sad looking. While you can get some great deals here, be prepared for long lines, even during the middle of the day on some occasions. It's a busy area, so traffic and parking can sometimes be issues as well. read more

Great grocery store if you're on a budget but still want to eat quality food. They have a lot of organic food and great prices on pantry staples! Be prepared not to be able to buy everything on your grocery list, as Aldi is much smaller than the Kroger and Publix stores but you're going to find the majority of what you are looking for! You'll need a quarter to get a cart from the corral, but that quarter helps Aldi pass savings on to the customer, as they don't have to pay an employee to gather and return carts. You'll get the quarter back when you return your cart to the corral. This particular location is a little hard to get out of, as Spring road has a median so if you need to turn left out of the store, there is only one exit that will let you head back toward Cobb Parkway. But come check Aldi out - your budget will thank you! read more

I just discovered Aldi not too long ago. Aldi is a frugal person's grocery store. It's not because of its low prices either. It's how they run their stores. It's so efficient and cost-cutting that they're able to give the savings back to their customers. I can admire that. You won't see exotic ingredients here either, nor will you find many different brands. You also need to bring your own bag or box to carry your groceries out. You also have to rent a cart if you want to use one. You will also notice the isles are smaller, and everything looks packed into one place. All of these I don't mind. I do have to remember to bring cash though since they don't take credit cards. You will save a lot of money on your groceries if you buy here. That is the best part. The quality of the products you get isn't any worse than what you can get at Kroger or Publix, except you're paying a lot less. And that's as good as it gets. read more

Coming here takes me back home to Germany (where I'm from and where Aldi is from). They stay true to their German roots: you stick a quarter into the cart to assure you return it back to the station (you get the quarter back), you pay for your plastic bags, and you have to bag your own groceries... just like in Germany :) If you don't mind that things are not in pretty-arranged shelves with all the most expensive brand items taking up the best "real estate" on the shelves, this is the place to go. I go there for all the staples and basics: Gallon of milk is $2.18, it's $2.58 at Kroger, if you catch it on sale. Eggs are $0.99 a dozen. Bottles of wine go as low as $2.99. I bought some basic seasonings (salt grinder, Italian seasoning, basil) for $0.99. The Kroger brand spices are typically at least $3. Canned vegetables (tomatoes, beans, mushrooms etc.) are another item that I MUST buy here. Is it more convenient to shop for everything at one store - of course it is, but you can walk out of there and only spend $20 and have all the basics you need for the week. read more

God, I LOVE Aldi! Go here to save money not for the atmosphere. 1. Bring your own bags - one of the ways they save cash is by not providing customers with bags. 2. Bring a quarter to get a shopping cart. It forces you to bring it back to the front of the store and not leave the cart by your car. You get the quarter back, no worries. 3. Bring a DEBIT CARD not a credit card. They do not accept credit cards to cut back on fees - further saving you money. 4. Be prepared to fill your grocery cart for about $50. I literally cut my grocery expenditure in half by going to Aldi instead of a chain grocery store. I find their brands a good quality for the money without having to buy in bulk at places like Costco. Hint: What I can't get at Aldi I get at the Farmers Market about a mile down the road. read more

This is a good Aldi location! I guess because it is nestled behind McDonalds they don't get too much traffic, but this store is always clean, stocked and the employees are friendly. I usually come in the evenings and the store is pretty well stocked. The manager always has employees restocking shelved once the big rush subsides and that helps to keep the consistency and variety. The staff is another reason why I give this place a thumbs up. They are always friendly and willing to assist. They will open new registers when lines get long, and they're always smiling! read more

I love this little grocery store. It's one of the main places I shop for food. I am not a "frozen-reheat" kind of gal...I like to make most of my food from scratch, and this store pretty much provides all the staples I need to do that. Aldi has been around forever, and it seems as if alot of people used to turn their nose up because it has off brands items, you have to use a quarter to get a grocery cart (you get it back as soon as your return the cart), and they charge you for bags. But that's what keeps the prices down so low. But now since the economy has changed, I am starting to see a lot more people (some of which I am pretty sure used to turn their nose up at a place like this) shopping here now. It's about 90 percent no-name brand items, and about 10 percent name brand. (Lets all remember that alot of no-name brand items are produced in the same factories as the name brand items you buy everyday). They have a lot of choices for just about anything you would be interested in, and they have cheap produce (I am a huge fan of fresh non-frozen prepackaged produce). A 5lb bag of navel oranges will run you about $4.99 at publix, but here it is the same oranges for $1.69 per 5lb bag. At Kroger a 5lb bag of potatoes will cost you $3.99, but at Aldi it is $1.99 for a TEN LB BAG....see what I mean? They always have a nice cheese selection (you can get romano, white cheddar, irish cheese, german cheese...ect), they have a nice coffee bean selection, and dont forget the booze...they have a nice selection of affordable foreign beers and wines. You 30 dollar bottle of wine people might want to keep it steppin'.... The only issue that I have with this location is sometimes the cashiers have stank-ass attitudes....almost like they dont even want to speak to you sometimes.... What's to have an attitue about ladies? You get to sit down when you ring people up and you get paid like $16-$18 dollars. I enjoy Aldi for a number of reasons: -location -price -simple parking lot -dependability of staple products -Baskets never in the parking lot to damage your car I am annoyed by Aldi for several reasons: -regardless of the occasion, they NEVER have all of the lines open. Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, New Years, 4th of July... They will open a line from time to time, but to just open all of the 3-4 lines and KEEP them open, it is not gonna happen. -unfriendly cashiers. They act like they are doing you a favor by checking you out and are quite annoying in that they think that their comfort in sitting on their perch is more important than even reaching out their arm to grab a grocery cart. -sometimes the fruit and vegetables are completely rotten. read more

My favorite grocery store since I was a teenager in New Jersey! So imagine my excitement when Aldi came to Georgia, I totally felt back home. The prices are exceptional! I was a Food Depot, Walmart and Kroger shopper spending 80.00 a week for groceries alone. At Aldi I spend 50.00 a week and have everything I need. I can finally afford Organic fruit and vegetables! Grapefruit are my favorite fruit, I remember they had one bag of grapefruit left and it unfortunately had one rotten one in it, I wanted them so I purchased them anyway and the manager went to check to see if they had anymore in the back, when he returned he refunded my money and gave me the grapefruit anyway after taking the rotten one out. What outstanding customer service! The staff is always helpful and very friendly. As long as I'm living and Aldi is around this will stay my grocery store. read more

Good selection of snacks. I buy similar products that are sold at Trader Joe's and Kroger for a cheaper price. They seem to imitate popular products and use their own brand name. Quality of food has been good. I am not sure if you could do all your food shopping here. I pop in to buy snacks and milk at a cheaper price. Tip: u need a quarter to deposit for shopping carts. I like to eat healthy and that can sometime get pricey in big name stores. Aldi's fit and active line gave me options without having to choose between what I could or couldn't get. Bringing my own bags makes carrying in actually easier and it's less headache than Walmart. They've found a loyal customer. read more

a very convenient location for Cobb County residents and the prices are pretty awesome too. Yes, you have to have a quarter on hand to operate the carts and remember to bring you own shopping bags or they will charge you for plastic bags. And then you have to bag you own groceries after they've rung them up. They do not take credit cards but cash or debit cards are welcome. But that's just part of the charm of shopping at Aldi. As for the groceries - I love it when they bring in German foods, since it is a German company, and I love that they actually offer everything from German chocolates to oriental, Italian and even Mexican foods. Their seafood selection is pretty decent and the prices are competitive. Aldi, don't ever go away! read more
