The small store has an assortment of honeys made by their own bee hives that they move around in different parts of the US. We so enjoyed the day and will go back in June to pick peaches.

A fun fall date!…read more Southern Belle Farm, located in McDonough, provides hours of wholesome fun and free parking. My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

When the bushes get too picked over they will close until they are ready again!

I came here with my two kids to pick some blueberries and got so much more! We came at the end of blueberries season due to a threat of low crops, but honestly we got out with a full 1/2 gallon bucket for $8. You can do a gallon for $16. Just drive up and pay via QR Code Cash App, Venmo, PayPal or just drop cash in the drop box. Due to COVID they have pre- cleaned buckets in a section for grabbing along with hand sanitizer with entrance instructions. Once you leave there is a "dirty" pile for buckets after use. Along with there 30+ blueberry bushes, the have a large area of 8-10ft tall sunflowers and other flowers they can pick for you to bring home. They also have other product like squash and peas for purchase. There are plenty of photo opportunities, but again be respectful. At the end/bottom of the farm near the animals they have shaved ice, drinks and seating area to hang out. They also have shaded areas to sit at with tables around the property. For animals they have their personal livestock with donkeys, a llama, goats, ducks, roosters, hens, and a peacock. I was looking for a peach picking place not too far from Fayetteville and found Gregg Farms! I went…read moreon a Saturday afternoon just around lunch time and it was pretty easy to find and drive to. The lot was pretty busy but we quickly found a parking spot. Once there, it was a little confusing to figure out where to go for peach picking as there's so much happening (food truck, ice cream, boiled peanuts, fresh produce, other u-pick produce like blueberries and wildflowers) but the staff was super nice and pointed us in the right direction! (Side note: before picking, we hit the restrooms which were Port-a-potties. They were fine but just fyi and bring hand sanitizer!) For peach picking, we paid $30/bucket which was a totally fair price for the amount of peaches we were able to pick! (My group of 5 split a single bucket and brought more than enough home). The picking was good and the staff was super helpful with telling us how to pick and what to look for in good fruit. We brought our own bags but they also offered paper bags which was nice. After, we had both the strawberry and peach ice cream! The peach ice cream was honestly pretty mild but the strawberry ice cream was SO GOOD and creamy and hit the spot after picking. Overall, such a great experience fruit picking and highly recommend if you can go!

I made my living selling FRESH PRODUCE, I bought from around the world and sold locally at the Atlanta State Farmer's Market and delivered to about 11 States.
