I love all Aldi's. My Go to shopping for food. Most affordable. This location here is always the cleanest and always fully stocked. The rotation isle new fun stuff is always gonna be something good. They actually have self checkout at this location. Some of them do some of them don't. Aldi has been doing so well that they even bought out Winn Dixie. I hope that doesn't mean that prices get raised. So far doesnt seem to be that way just more locations. This place use to just be for poor people but now it is for everybody. read more

My milk went sour the day after I bought it.My ground beef was rotten after taking it out of the freezer.My oranges were rotten as soon as I opened the bag.My flour tortillas were stale.My corn tortillas fell apart trying to make enchiladas ... i am not looking forward to opening the chicken or the pork from my freezer... I went out of my way to save some money.Spending two hundred dollars.And now I have to buy everything again.This place is at rip off.Stay away!!! read more

I like Aldi. I used to enjoy shopping at this Aldi, but no more. Twice now, I've shopped while people with untrained and poorly behaved "service animals" were also shopping. On June 6th, in addition to a barking dog, a lady was shopping with an adult macaw on her shoulder and a parrot on her cart. Both birds were making very loud noises, which in turn caused the dog to bark endlessly. I know there are people with the need of genuine service animals and I also am very aware there are many people that abuse the system. This is a grocery store, not a pet store. None of these animals had anything to indicate they were even genuine service animals. These days it is easy to get groceries delivered or have curbside delivery. For Aldi to allow the screeching birds and barking dogs inside makes for an unpleasant shopping experience. read more

This is a pretty nice Aldi. It feels like an actual grocery store instead of a small crappy corner store like some of them. Better selection, more to choose from and cashiers that are fast and treat customers the way they should. There are some organic produce options and a decent wine section Prices are great like all Aldi's Store was big, open, and clean I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the produce was bad like brown asparagus spears and expired deli turkey read more

If you've never been to Aldi, you really should try it. It took me a little while to get used to all the offbrands, but the savings you get by shopping there is good. Once I started to buy their products I noticed not a big change in the flavor. One of the standouts by shopping at Aldi is there produce. It is a cut above the major grocery stores in the area, including Publix. While selection is limited to the main staples, their vegetables are always fresh and a good buy. The only negative I can say is if you look at their weekly flyer and don't get to the store the first day after the flyer comes out, you may be out of luck. I find that supplies are limited on some of their "deals." read more

On par with most Aldi locations, and the stock was about the same. Only thing I saw that was new to my eyes in an Aldi was pork shoulders. Not bone-in, but for $14, I couldn't resist. Plus, I'm making Cuban sandwiches next weekend, so I needed one. Only problem I have with this Aldi is the location. It's in some old, half-abandonded plaza that used to have a Walmart in it. If traveling along Missouri, it could be easy to miss. read more

This no-frills supermarket chain is just starting to open stores in the Tampa Bay area, and whether or not you decide to shop here will depend on how much you're willing to sacrifice to save a few dollars. We visited this location the day after it opened, and there was an acrid odor in the air that had our eyes burning and watering a few minutes after we walked in the door. Two employees insisted they couldn't smell anything, but since other shoppers were commenting about it, we knew we weren't crazy. We stayed just long enough to check out the merchandise and form an opinion. If you prefer national brands, you won't find any here. Everything is "private label" and available only at Aldi stores. The produce was limited and pre-packaged, so it was impossible to inspect. The price per pound is posted, but the individual packages had no weights or prices on them. There weren't many choices in the meat and dairy sections. Even canned, bottled, and packaged goods don't have much of a selection. Most frozen items are sold in family-size packages only. Many items people buy on a regular basis aren't sold here at all. You need to bring your own bags, or else buy the paper, plastic, or insulated bags they sell, and you bag your own groceries. They don't accept credit cards or checks. Although most prices appeared to be lower than those in the major supermarket chains, not finding everything you need under one roof is a major drawback to me. If I need to go to Publix or Albertson's to complete my shopping, the few dollars I save here aren't worth the trouble. If you do go here, be sure to have a quarter with you, because you need one to get a shopping cart. You get your money back when you return the cart to the stand in front of the store, but it's just one more nuisance that will keep me from coming here. read more

I wish I could give NO STARS. This place was really disappointing to me. For one, they don't carry any brands outside of their own generic brands and it would be one thing if they were good products. I bought some paper towels from there and they fell apart. I also bought a cereal advertised as comparable to special K and it tasted like kitty litter (i imagine tastes...). The worst thing is that you aren't saving an unbelievable amount of money either. The paper towels were only $1 less than the name brand towels I usually get at Publix and the cereal was less than a $1 in savings. Sometimes I can get a good deal at Publix on good quality brands when they have 2 for 1 or BOGO. Aldi also charges you to use a shopping cart! Okay, okay--you get the quarter back. But christ on a cracker, you have to search your bag for a quarter! That's not cool. Not cool. Also, the staff at the Aldi I went to was kind of rude. They could only shrug their shoulders when I asked them questions or point in some vague direction. I could have received better help by asking a box of generic oatmeal. read more

I like the products at Aldi, but this store lacks good customer service and enough people stuffed. For some odd reason there are at least 6 registers but only ever 1 or 2 registers open despite the long lines of people waiting to be checked out. I come to the store at least 2 times a week and I'd visit more but I dread the long lines. It's definitely not a place to go and shop if you don't have a lot of time to waste standing in line. read more

This is a no extras type of store, they have all there own brand names no other brand name BUT their prices are great! Family lives in Largo and I took them here for their 1st Aldi experience. I live and shop in the Orlando area/Aldi's often. This store was clean, organized and well stocked with great items to choose from. The canned goods, dairy, meats fresh fruits and veggies were plentiful. To save a significant amount of $$ it is worth it just remember you need to have a quarter to get a cart, you get it back when you return the cart. Bring your own bags and you have to bag your own groceries but it is well worth the savings. Also year round and especially around the holidays you can get some great items from other countries. read more

I like this store. Sure, you are not going to find all named brand items, but the prices are significantly cheaper than the major chains. Milk for instance is $1 cheaper than Publix. I especially like their frozen fish and frozen fruit selections. They don't accept credit cards. read more

Basic items like milk were missing. This happens a lot. The produce and meats are left out to spoil. They are not refreshing and restacking shelves. The store is definitely lacking. I have been a customer for years. I have seen the decline in service. The old staff was awesome. The new staff is always angry and bickering. There is never a manger on site. I think the Corporate Staff needs to step in and make sure that the 1177 N Missouri Ave N, Largo, FL 33770 store is being properly trained and supervised. Some of the Cashiers are rude and prejudice. It is sad that now I have to make sure my phone is fully charged when I go shopping in case someone acts ignorant. read more

I have shopped at ALDI for years, they have always saved me a lot of money overall on my weekly groceries. Their brands have won awards for private label foods. I love the fact that I don't need a compass and brad crumbs to make my way to the things I need. They stick to a seasonal schedule so I know I can get wonderful German food for each our celebrations. They also have a wide selection of party foods that are in their store year round. I keep a quarter in my purse for the cart, that's another thing, because you "rent" the cart they are always by the door and not all over the parking lot. read more

Pretty basic, even for a store similar to Save A lot. I mean they just don't have very much of anything there.
