Stopped in for a quick shopping trip last night after our Smith's & Grimaldi's visit. Didn't get a cart, since we were only getting a few things. This was within the past few weeks. We went here recently this past weekend, also a small grocery trip, under $25. Two gallons of water, refrigerated biscuits, white rice, cream cheese- 1/3 fat, sourdough loaf, off the top of my head. Guess what I am saying is this is good for a big shopping trip or a small shopping trip. We are usually in the area too, so it is convenient. We used to frequent Sprouts and Trader Joe's but in the past six months, it's switched to Aldi, Wal-mart, & Sam's Club. To be at our best place, we need to eat the best! For this is the second time that we've been to an Aldi. The first was all the way on the East Coast, in Salem. In Vegas we have done it bigger and better. For the selection is truly amazing and each section is different and highly organized. The first section that an individual comes across the produce area. Truly amazing especially considering the reviews. It almost made us not consider the Aldi . We must form our own unique opinions. The store created a great atmosphere for when people first come in . Here's some of what we have learned about the produce we found here. Who does not love asparagus? We do! And have had so many issues cooking it. The asparagus here was plump and supple and cooked up with ease. It was delicious. The selection of fresh fruit . Mangos and apples just delightful! They taste great. Remember an apple a day and add a mango for great measure too! The store was crowded and all the cashiers were working hard to keep the lines moving at a steady pace. The cashiers can choose to sit on a stool here and work with ease. The company provides a great work environment for their employees and makes for happy customers. The team stocking was friendly too. Come and try out another type of shopping experience. The brand of Aldi is owned same company that owned Trader Joe's and so you can see some similarities between the stores and differences too! This is my first ever Aldi visit...I visited my niece in Ohio and she had an entire house full of Aldi products...so I hoped we had one here and lo and behold we have 4 stores in the valley. This one is closest to my house. We grabbed a cart and started perusing... I spied some good looking veggies for a salad..could not believe the price point. Also grabbed sourdough bread (amazing) and several chip products that were name brands I did not recognize.. it everything I brought home is inexpensive and very good!! I bought two reusable bags...they hold a lot of groceries. I will definitely come here often...these are some really good deals this day and age! read more

I had my first experience at Aldi in the US. The prices are really inexpensive and the fruits and vegetables even look good. They also have the well-known Aldi finds aisle which is basically a whole bunch of junk that you didn't know you needed that you do need now. I had an incredibly positive interaction with the GM, Andreas. He was so kind and helpful to me and encouraging to his employees. Be prepared, though. You will need to bring your own bags and a quarter if you want to use a basket. read more

Aldi is a great store to find some deals and yummy finds you may not find elsewhere. Some of the items that they carry that I particularly love are their pub style pretzels, jelly (they carry different brands here than other stores), their winking owl wine (although currently they don't have alcohol at this location), and some fresh items like olives and cheeses. Service at this location was lacking. We came in on a Monday night and there was one cashier working with at least 10 people in line. Ambiance was that of a similar establishment. For Vegas peeps: note you must bring a quarter if you want a cart. Pop the quarter in and shop. When you return the cart you can pop your quarter back out, so essentially it's free. Also, you must bag your own groceries. They put everything in a cart and then you go off behind the register and bag it if desired or go straight to your car. read more

I was excited that a new grocery store chain was going to open up in my neighborhood, especially since I've heard all the buzz around Aldi and its cheap prices and "Aisle of Shame." I've shopped at this location three times, and I have been left unimpressed every single time. First, you have to pay to "rent" a shopping cart for the store. It's extremely confusing, and I still haven't quite figured out the lock and key system. You'll get your quarter back, but it's a huge hassle. I also think the store is very unpleasant inside. It feels like a low rent dollar store with concrete floors and cramped aisles. The produce always looks close to being rotten, and the store carries weird off-brands that are sad looking dupes of popular brands. They have a very small frozen food section and the interior aisles have mostly overpriced brand name goods (like sauces and cereals) next to no-name brands that are cheaper. There's a wine section that still says 'coming soon' even after three months, and the fresh dairy section has some unusual cheese selections. The bread aisle is tiny as well. The famous Aisle of Shame to me is a nothingburger. They always have random items that nobody really needs, like women's sleeveless undershirts or giant dusters to candles. Apparently these items change frequently and shoppers visit the store weekly to check them out, but I don't think it's worth the hassle. I can't imagine anyone using Aldi as their main grocery store, and I just don't see any reason to shop here unfortunately. This one is a big bust of a supermarket for me. read more

Aldi now open in Las Vegas on 7150 S Rainbow Blvd, as of 15-MAY-25. We popped in for the Grand Opening and perused each aisle. Note the items change each week based on their Aldi Finds. Nice bright sotre with clean aisles. Some good deals found here include pocky sticks, frost drinks (similar to sparking ice), produce and deals on meat. They are giving out coupons for future visits with any purchase while supplies last $5 off a purchase of $30 or more for the next 3 weeks. In the future note: to get a shopping cart you will need to lend a $0.25 quarter and when you deliver it back you get it back. Common process in Europe at grocers. Bag your own groceries or pay for one, helps keep the prices lower and lines moving. Store hours 9am to 9pm MON-SUN. Tip: Bring your own bag as you will need to pay for them if you do not have some. read more

I've heard of Aldi and this location didn't live up to the hype. The building is under construction and I don't know if once the construction is done if this Aldi will expand into the space. It was a nice selection, but the store is much smaller than I was expecting. There were organic food options which was nice. I don't understand why Aldi is popular, but to each their own. read more

May 15th, grand opening of the Aldi location on Rainbow. Paid a visit after work, cause well, ya know, why not right. First time shopping at this Aldi / any Aldi altogether. The store was clean, easily navigable. I had no expectations and no shopping list in mind, but ultimately left with $57 bucks worth of goods, as you'll see in the pictures attached haha. I believe shopping carts might take a quarter (25 cents) to unlock, but I found one in the lot and just used it in the store. There appears to be no free shopping bags to utilize unlike other grocery stores, but you can purchase larger reusable ones for $0.99, and I think they had smaller ones for like $0.69. After checking out, there's a counter where you can stop at to bag your own groceries. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. Cool addition to town. read more

Came here a few weeks ago back since I've never been to a Aldi's before. First and only problem was I don't carry quarters with me and you need a quarter to get a shopping cart. The store has a lot of good items that are a little cheaper than the stores in the area but for me I don't think i could do a whole shopping here for a family, it's just certain items I would buy here. Once you purchase your items here, you bag the stuff yourself. overall, the store was a good addition to the area but there's three other stores in the area within blocks to choose from to shop at and nothing really stand out here for me to shop here all the time. read more

I went to Aldi's once in Illinois in 2020 amd I recall not being impressed. But it seems very popular here, so I gave it another go. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. A good selection of a variety of product from fresh produce to frozen and everything in between. There sale prices are really good! The only issue I had was the frozen "deveined" shrimp. Many of them were visibly not deveined until I got home. Also, many products did not have prices. I wasn't about to track someone down to find out. A lost sale, perhaps. Other than, I'll be back. The store was clean, the checkers are fast, and plenty of parking and carts. read more

I'm familiar with Aldi because my family shops at the ones in Oklahoma and Texas and I've been to locations in Western Europe. We specifically leave empty space in our luggage to get their LiveGFree gluten-free products to take home. This location has no savory LiveGFree products except some frozen chicken bites. I did see one cake mix once, but I've been a couple times and didn't see them there every time. This location doesn't have enough edible products but has an extra long row of odds and ends junk products. Staff is pleasant and prices are affordable. read more

Maybe you have to have been to an ALDI to know what to expect at an ALDI. They have a decent selection of food, but you're not going to find everything you would at Smith's, Walmart or Von's. If you understand that, you won't be disappointed. ALDI has good fruit and veggie prices. It's my favorite thing about them. The store is set up like all other ALDIs and it's like Sam's or Costco when it comes to bring your own bag. My mom is in town so she was happy to see a familiar store while here. While this might not be the store to get all of your needs, it does have a good amount of them. If you haven't been to one, check it out. Same set up as the Aldi on Marks St in Henderson but the isles are wider and easier to get past other shoppers. Good choices for most brands and the pricing is less than Walmart's! The folks working at the store are just as nice as the other location. Very clean shelf's, coolers and freezers and pretty well organized. Wasn't hard to find exactly what I wanted. Was very happy with this location. If you want to save money Aldi is the place to go. Remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart and your own grocery bags. For my first trip to this Aldi after being familiar with it from the east coast.There was good parking available and ample stock of most items during my visit. Prices for some items were a bit expensive but they do offer a wide variety of things. Beware the middle aisle as they have stuff that you don't even know you need but will love! The store was clean and well organized. Service was super friendly. The cashier pointed me to a cart when I didn't have a quarter and I was able to pass it on to another customer when I finished. I'm really disappointed with this location. We rent a house in Newport Beach for the holidays every year, and the Aldi near there is always great for picking up a few essentials, snacks, or something quick for the kids. I was genuinely looking forward to this new store opening near my office so I could run in for lunch items or grab what I needed to make dinner on my way home. I've now been here about half a dozen times, and the best word I can use to describe it is lackluster. The store is disorganized, the shelves constantly have empty sections, and the cashiers are consistently rude. About two visits ago, the cashier actually lectured me because I used a key instead of a quarter to release a shopping cart (I didn't have a quarter on me at the time). He told me I "couldn't do that" and that he hoped my key got stuck. My response was, "Well, I already did it, and I promise you I'm leaving with the key, even if it means getting a hammer out of my car." Normally, I'm not confrontational with retail employees, but you truly had to be there -- the attitude was unreal. Then yesterday, I went on my lunch break to grab a few things for taco night. I grabbed the last bag of sweet potatoes on the display, only to find at checkout that they were rotten and leaking some kind of liquid all over the rest of my groceries. I handed them to the cashier and politely let her know, and asked if there were any more in the back since the shelf was empty. She shh'd me, rolled her eyes, and slowly reached for the walkie talkie like I was inconveniencing her. I stopped her and said not to worry about it. She rolled her eyes again, shh'd me again, and asked, "Are you sure?" I told her yes -- and that I'll just go to Sprouts across the street and from now on. To make this even more frustrating, the person behind me in line (who turned out to also be an Aldi employee) was told by the cashier that they'd "been getting rotten sweet potatoes brought up all day." If that's the case, why not pull the batch? Why not warn customers? Why not do anything to prevent people from buying rotting produce? To add to all of this, nearly every time I've visited, there are people outside "collecting donations" for charities I've never heard of. They are overly aggressive to the point that one actually grabbed a bag out of my cart. I had to tell him I didn't need help with my groceries or my cart and that I just needed to get back to work. He proceeded to ask where I worked, what I did, and even how much my watch cost before I finally just walked away. That's not just uncomfortable -- it's completely inappropriate. Hello, im from the east and we have had an Adis forever. It was always my favorite for good quality groceries. So when it came to Vegas I was overjoyed. The store was clean, well stocked and had great prices. However my experience with the cashier today was less then pleasant. Bianca was dismissive, rude and a real jerk. I dont think She should be placed where any customer has any interaction w Her. In a time where people are fighting for jobs, Them has one and treats others like crap. Make it make sense. It's the only place where I get my thin crust pizza they have a variety of cheese which I love! Brioche bread is one of my fave! Price is reasonable. The items are placed right. Not chaotic. Service is provided with a smile. Overall experience is excellent. read more

First time in Aldi was today. Really disappointed. Think I read a review on Google that said it was a ghetto Trader Joe's; that's probably accurate. I mean a deposit of 25 cents to get a shopping cart; no bags provided, but they'll sell you one. A name brand is a rarity, brands you never heard of common and jut a penny, or two less than brands at regular supermarkets. Suggest you use Walmart,although Aldi's marketing seems to be geared to bargain hunters creating fake news on items that are supposed to be a real bargain. A new Aldi's is under construction in my neighborhood. While I was in another part of town, I stopped by the Aldi's in that neighborhood. Walked every aisle, checked prices on name brand products as well as store brand products. No surprise here, the name brand products were higher in price than Walmart and Smith's. What was usually lower in price were the store brands. Also, found out not all Aldi's carry, even their store brand products in all their stores. Meats, for example, were way over-priced. read more

The store itself..fine. The employees that bring out the pick ups are beyond ridiculous. I don't know what has happened to customer service but it's definitely nonexistent. Once a bag of potatoes was thrown to my husband when he was still putting groceries in the trunk (he had an injured back at the time as well) and the employee just turned around and walked away. Then the app wasn't working so I had to check in for my husband via the text that is sent. I thought he had said he was there but he said he was on the way and they freaked out that he wasn't out there when it was an honest mistake. If the app worked we wouldn't have that problem. Then he just picked up an order today and the employee said "it's always something with you guys" when she couldn't see that his vehicle is green (you input the color and type of car in the app). There isn't a dark green option and it night time. Also, why not have parking spots with numbers we are input instead because most dark green vehicles look black when it's night. All in all whether you feel a certain way about a customer or not you don't treat them like that. And the company has some improvements to do for the customer and employees.
