It's dinner time again and the guys on my crew wanted to go to a casino for the evening and try their "luck". So, I dropped them off and told them to call when they ran outta money! So, me and the other girl on my crew decided to check out the local 99 Ranch market deli. I know they have good food to go and you get to see the food before you order it! Some of the selections are quite authentic ... like chicken feet and deep fried little smelt fish or one dim selection that looked like white jello something. There other "normal" looking stuff too, like all the noodles and stir fries as well as I love the BBQ meats, like duck and BBQ pork and the deals they have on fried chicken! I got a bunch of food to go, and what we don't eat, I'm sure the guys on the crew will finish! I got some BBQ pork buns, BBQ pork spare ribs and fried chicken. I skipped the duck this time. All the food tasted wonderful as expected. The buns could have been warmer, but that's what a zap in the microwave is for at the hotel. We enjoyed the food and it was no hassle to get. This WAS my favorite new place when I moved here last year but after the last three times the food I was so excited to buy came home spoiled and rotten I'm giving up. This time it was an ENTIRE CASE of young coconuts that had gone rotten inside from not being refrigerated as they say prominently on the package. They're not cheap and to find all 9 of them bad I'm discouraged. Last time I got home to notice on the receipt that the single stalk of grapes was $25 and once I opened them they were moldy but the voluminous packaging prevents you from seeing the product has gone bad. Also I keep trying to buy these frozen cake rolls only to have the shelf empty each time. The fish I bought was ammonia city once I got it home so it had to go in the garbage. I like this place and it's a shame I'll have to find somewhere else to shop. Be forewarned. Check your produce and meat before you leave and watch carefully as they check you out. read more

Curbside parking, a lot of basket, fresh smell and multiple food options to be curious about. I found the fresh fruit but didn't grab meat. The cashiers were ready to assist and helpful. I purchased Brands Essence Of Ckn-Cordcep online 5 months ago. It's time to go online to purchase again. Try all the products categories cannot find it. Call in to customer service, hard to speak to the person cause I can't tell the right products in her languages. Good she told me will let customer services to call me back. It's simple. I want Asian groceries and 99 Ranch Market has it. From udon noodles, jellyfish in a jar, to lychee jelly, and ceremonial match -- you'll find it here. I love this place because I lean heavily toward Korean foods, snacks, teas, and alcohol. They've got it all. I also come here for the Korean BBQ style sliced meat and fresh mushrooms. It's a pretty average 99 Ranch market, maybe even slightly below average considering it doesn't have a food court or bakery. Lots of options here in a cramped space, but I think if there was more space, it would be better. The 99 Ranch in Boston, New Jersey, and even the 626 area in California are all better than this. Moderate offerings, you'll be able to find most of the basic asian ingredients you'll need but may need to visit other larger asian markets to get more variety especially when it comes to spices. There are meats, seafood, produce, sauces, spices, fresh noodle options, limited housewares, etc. Cashiers are pretty quick but it's a hit or miss if you get one that's friendly. No photos with this review because I thought I had reviewed it before. Between dinner and a play, I had some time to spare so I walked to the 99 Ranch Market in Chiantown. I took my time checking things out for a future stop when I had a chest to keep things cold or frozen. I ended up spending a fair amount of time looking at the boxed pastries. I ened up getting three Japanese style mochi boxes to take on our trip to Death Valley. I also got a box of green tea cookies for the same trip. I was amazed when I saw the different flavors of Spam. That will be another time. This is a good Asian store carrying a lot of different goods. I have several choices of stores so that's why I haven't been to this market in a long time. read more

Today after the 99 ranch market closing on Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas has immensely improved the spring mountain location to its finest it is an absolute gym I heard that there will be one in summerlin sometime in the future but visiting the 99 ranch market on spring mountain is a great experience really safe secure and just really good items I was very sad that the Maryland Parkway location closed but for the spring mountain to be looking as exceptional as the store is currently we'll take that and hopefully summerlin will be identical to the spring mountain store this may be their flagship location. read more

This is a fun Asian market to go to they have quite a selection. It's very large and located conveniently in Las Vegas Chinatown. Basically everything you need is going to be located in the store. It was quite crowded the last few times I have been there. There's plenty of parking in the lot out front. The checkout staff works quickly so while there is always a line it is a fast moving line. They do not have much of a selection of dishes or silverware or anything like that. There's a great selection of sauces and a lot of food and fresh food. It's just a tiny bit stinky from all the seafood they carry but not nearly as much as most of these type of places. This is my go to whenever we come to Las Vegas. read more

Ranch 99 has been great during these recent times. Conveniently close to work, it's the first Asian market I pass by on the way home. Their live seafood selection is much better than SF and 168 markets, IMHO. They got everything from live oysters, lobsters, conch, mussels, and clams, and I was even able to score some sweet uni!(by the sashimi/sushi items) The only downside is that this place gets crowded as do othe Asian markets in Chinatown, so I just grab what I need, and GTFO! Mrs.Q requested Paella for our final meal for 2020, so after I got off work, I went here to pick up some live mussels, Manila clams, and head on shrimp. Got home, purged the clams, debearded the mussels, and cooked up paella for two to say goodbye to this challenging year. If you're looking for Chinese goods, you'll probably find it at 99 Ranch Market. My family likes to stop by and do some shopping whenever we are in Las Vegas. We find that the fruits are cheap compared to Hawaii so we buy enough for the duration of our stay. Other things we pick up are snacks and beverages to eat/drink and dried goods to bring home to use in soups. They have a really good selection of chips from Taiwan, Thailand, and China. It's chip flavors that you don't find in the typical supermarkets and the chip bags are single serving size so you can finish a bag by yourself. The shopping aisles are tight and there is lots of merchandise stacked on boxes so it's difficult to navigate and pass people who also have shopping carts. I find it best to use a shopping basket so you don't get stuck. If you rent a hotel that has a small kitchen, I'd recommend buying some seafood from here to cook. The dungeness crab, prawns, and fish are really fresh. read more

I come here to pick up stuff I can't get anywhere else. Live lobsters and crabs are hard to find in the desert, so I must come here to get them. The place used to be cool, but I think the pandemic broke them. Now, it's a frustrating waiting game. They are severely understaffed, and don't care how long you wait at the seafood counter. My last 2 trips here have been a disaster. This past time, they had 1 person working the seafood counter. I was 5th in line, and the people who came after me, at least 5 more, all left but 1 determined soul. Everyone else got tired of waiting and just walked away. They insist you take a number, even though they are not using them, counter was on 38 and I pulled number 75? Really weird situation and I hope they figure it out soon read more

First time here, it is super cold inside so make sure to come with a jacket or sweater because brrrrrr. They have so many varieties of food which is nice because there not your normal grocery store like you wouldn't find duck heads in your local super market. Employees are so helpful and friendly I watched how the workers were so friendly and kind to people asking for help. The store is packet with so much food that it's a little cluttered so when they are busy it might be a little stressful getting through to shop. Overall, I signed up for their rewards which the cashier kindly asked if I had which I didn't. She immediately gave me a application kind of paper that I filled out super quick and on my way to save. When I'm hunting for Asian ingredients, I pretty much have to head down to Chinatown to get the best selection and prices - 99 Ranch is not my usual go to spot but I recently came here again when what I needed was out of stock elsewhere (Kewpie mayo, specifically). The shop is tucked into one of the busiest plazas, with the traditional arch. Plenty of parking is a plus, but it sort of goes downhill from there. Selection here is okay - it really depends what you're looking for. Plenty of condiments and lots of seafood and frozen dumplings but the produce here isn't the freshest and the seafood tanks are depressing and overcrowded. There's an odor in the fish/meat counter area if you're sensitive to that and there's a pervasive "dirty" feeling to the place - the linoleum is scuffed, there are holes and scrapes in the walls, and everything just seems to need a deep cleaning. Prices seemed higher here than the comparable Asian markets that I usually go to, and if you're looking for something specific or already in the area, it may be a a convenient stop - but it's not my favorite, I'll drive a little further to go elsewhere. read more

This 99 market is smaller to others that I have shopped before. It does not have a deli section for cooked food. Aisles are very narrow and selections are limited. It reminds of Asian markets 20 years ago. That said, it may be the only place that I can get items only available at Asian markets in this area. read more

This is a small 99 ranch compared to the others but it's okay. They have everything you need. I usually come here for the bag of steak for kbbq / hot pot it's only like $35 I think. Which is such a steal!! And they also have the thinly sliced boneless short rib - love this for hot pot! Veggies are always fresh and in stock. This market is a little crowded and unorganized, but they have some gems in here. Is it the cleanest store I have ever been to? No. There is definitely parts of the store that seem to be falling apart and the floors are pretty dirty. However, there are a lot of great options in here if you like asian cuisine. I have been OBSESSED with california roll bowls that have imitation crab and kewpie mayo in them. I couldn't find kewpie mayo at a few other stores and was purchasing it online. I was happy to find it in store so I didn't have to wait for delivery. Also, imitation crab at Smiths (or any other chain grocery store) does not even compare to the kani kama (imitation crab sticks) you can get here. Delicious! Not to mention there are a ton of delicious rice snacks that you just can't get unless you go to a store like this. Will definitely be coming back to stock up! This store has gotten worse and worse. We came tonight cause we week on this side of town and it had been some time since we had been in. We usually like to buy snacks and drinks and things we've never tried, take it home and try it. When we walked into the store tonight the smell was so pungent that we almost walked out. Then as we approached the fish department and saw how many lobsters there were in one tank plus another tank full of dead crabs. I attached a picture, it's sad, they can't even move. THIS, made us walk out. We know people eat animals and appreciate when places use tanks to keep the fish fresh but this is just ridiculous and cruel. We left and went to another Asian market that we've been to before and they were much better, especially their fish section. I don't recommend this market and do not plan on returning. read more

Service is very poorly, management Antonio is very rude and unhelpful. It shouldn't be the customers paying attention to all their errors on the grocery floor such as pricing the products presentation are being overlooked. The employees should be the one checking all the prices if it's accurate, not the customers. Out of all the other times I have shopped in this location before customer Service have went down the hill. Very disappointing. That cashiers look like they hate their job and the store looks filthy. And while I'm at the cashier, cashing out the cashier associates did not know how to follow what I was asking of them. read more
