We've been coming here for over 5 years now because it's the closest one to our house. With this Albertsons being so close to a huge master planned community and many apartments nearby this place is always busy on the weekends! Their produce area is always missing something... still that department is doing better than the bakery. Come Sunday evenings the bakery is wiped out. But what really drove me to write this review after all these years is we went on a Sunday afternoon and went through self-checkout since this location has about 17 self checkouts in total. All apparently for 15 items or less which was brought to our attention by an employee on Sunday afternoon when we went to check out. All the while there was 1 register open with a human working.... So 1 register for everyone in that store on a Sunday afternoon with 16 items or more. How does that make sense? And yes there was a line for all of those self-checkouts. An employee told us next time we have to go through regular checkout and told us to just ask for another register to be opened.... Because that's my job? If you can there's a line for self checkout why would you just not have someone hop on a register and divert some of that over there? Not to mention people with 16 items or more are going to be paying more at the register, so we shouldn't be treated like add ons. If thats the goal then please have more people working registers mainly and especially on the weekends. This place gets packed even the parking lot is jammed. read more

Quality/Quantity - Wow, everyone needs a loyalty card to buy the sale items... And our Safeway #/card did NOT work?!?! Guess not the same company after all?!?! Albertsons bought Safeway... Bought some beer and milk for our week long LV trip. Got to stay hydrated. Atmosphere - Good size location. Had all the departments, including sushi. See pictures. Minimum craft beer selections, see pictures. But I still supported the locals. I even bought a case of Kilt Lifter as I will be in AZ next week. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 10pm. BTW, you still have your holiday hours sign up; see picture. Today is 1/5/25. Plenty of mall parking, but of course we are here after 9pm... Service - 5 stars, the cashier felt so bad for us as my wife had so much trouble with the app. I told her to just forget the beers (their loss of $$$). But the cashier honored it with management's approval. A good sale for them. Price - Too much $$$; my wife paid. Oh, and she got a gallon of milk for herself, lol. I've been going to this Albertsons for 5 years, and in my opinion, it has gotten worse over time. I've had several disappointing experiences at the Albertsons on Rainbow and Buffalo. The store's management appears disengaged and unprofessional, and customer service consistently reflects that. At the self-checkout area, it often feels like staff would rather socialize with friends than remain attentive to customers who need assistance. In addition, employees moving through the store while cleaning, stocking, or fulfilling online orders frequently do not acknowledge customers or offer basic courtesy, such as saying "excuse me" when passing by. When I try to be polite, I am sometimes met with dirty looks or a rude attitude. The staff assigned to self-checkout also seem unhappy to assist and often come across as impatient or annoyed when help is needed. Overall, this location appears to need stronger leadership and better customer service standards. In my experience, the behavior of the employees seems to reflect the tone set by management, and that has been disappointing. read more

Known as the busiest Albertsons in Las Vegas, this location is always bustling. Mostly pleasant service at check out, but very helpful when trying to find anything on the aisles. Pharmacy is also great with various offers for transferring prescriptions. The shopping carts are great and have recently been refreshed so more sticky wheels and loud carts. They even have drink holders now :-). Nice and bright store with a very helpful meat and bakery department. Sign up for Albertsons/Vons rewards and receive special deals and discounts and even FREE items most Saturdays. This location is my favorite. Not just because it's a newer store but because it has a really good selection of meats. I always find bone in rib eye here and they'll always carry chicken thighs. Other locations run out real quick. I love the Starbucks as well. It's been newly renovated and it has a big seating area. The employees are all very friendly and I think it's a requirement to have cool hair to work here lol. Everyone that I saw on shift had green or blue dye. I appreciate that they are allowed to express themselves in the way they choose. Albertsons is my go to grocery store because if you have the app, you can clip coupons and earn points for gas really quick. 10 rewards gives you $1 off a gallon up to 25 gallons I believe. And their $5 Friday deals are usually really competitive. With grocery prices being so high pinching every penny is easier here :) read more

This is the only Albertsons for Mountains Edge and it's pretty much run like it, like they know you don't have much of a choice unless you drive a few inconvenient traffic heavy miles east or north. Along with being consistently crowded all the time (their parking lot is an absolute zoo now), they're consistently out of a lot of stuff that other stores do a good job of keeping in stock. It reeks of the old low-rent supermarket merchandising trick of "well, maybe they'll think they have to buy the other similar food nobody ever wants that we're trying to get rid of". (Of course that food still never moves, and most just don't get what they're looking for) I've walked out of here many times with none of the several items I came in to get. I just end up going to Smith's on Decatur/Cactus, or to some other Albertson's down the road. This place also as of late has more of a problem with panhandlers and clipboard roaches harassing people as they enter and leave in the evening. Bad vibe, bad merchandising and stock availability, bad crowding... it's not a useless supermarket or a horrifying experience so I won't go one star. But this is not a good supermarket. Unless you know from experience that you can always get the particular stuff you want here, just go somewhere else for groceries. read more

I'm tired of the substandard Internet that you provide inside the store. Not only is it difficult to use cellular inside the store, but your Wi-Fi is so bad that I can't scan coupon codes or items that are on sale because of "network error". Kind of makes me think it's a scam so that I don't get the discount at the checkout counter. "It's not worth the trouble. I guess I'll just pay the $.50 or whatever the savings is." I'm tired of it. When I asked for help, I'm treated like an idiot because I don't know how your cryptic app works. Fix the app so it's more intuitive! I just left the store after putting back half a cart of groceries. I'll just go down the street to your competitor. Every-time I go to this location the customer service is absolutely superb. From customer service to deli and bakery to self checkout. Items are always fully stocked. The seafood counter is always busy but well maintained and associates are really helpful. I'd encourage the owners to think about expanding their hot food and prepared options. It was my very first time ordering on the app for pickup. Made the order around midnight and 9am pickup time was available. At about 8am I got a text that my order was ready and that I can pickup anytime before 8pm. Upon arriving, I forgot to tap on the app that I was on my way, however my order came out quickly. Maybe in 3 minutes. The young guy was very friendly. He placed the items in my vehicle. The whole process was super simple and easy. And what made it great was that the app was very user friendly and the parking spot area was well organized and easy to find. I recommend this especially if you order groceries like me! read more

My autistic adult son periodically rides his bike to this store to pick up a few items. He just got home and informed me that a female employee yelled at him in the self checkout because he needed some help scanning sugar snap peas and cilantro. Are your employees aware that many disabilities aren't obvious physical ones? A little patience and kindness goes a long way towards helping people like my son gain confidence and some independence. The world is tough enough for them to navigate without clueless employees yelling at them because they're challenged to scan some cilantro. I'VE been confused scanning certain items and I don't have autism. If you have no patience to assist customers then you have no business being employed by a grocery store. read more

Staff here is always great in the deli and butcher area!!! They seem to love their jobs and treat everyone so kind. Also have every item stocked! Thank you John and Isho for helping me today. I keep coming back to this location because the other location near my house on rainbow and warm springs told me in the deli tells me that they stop baking mango habanero chicken around 3pm today and equipment is put away and washed already. It takes A LOT for me to say anything or write anything negative. I was in Albertson's today on Blue Diamond and encountered the rudest employee in the self-check area! I asked her for assistance with a bread I was purchasing. I said it's on sale and she rudely said well it's digital and just walked away. I pulled up my app and asked her if she could help me with the digital coupon. Again, rude, like I was asking her for her blood. She then charged for an additional bread and put in the wrong price adjustment and walked away. I said excuse me you charged me for an additional bread and put in the wrong discount. She then removed the bread and what I thought was she corrected the discount. Her name is Mary. I did report the incident to the store manager, Rose who said she would speak to her. I got home and looked at the receipt again and she still overcharged me for the bread. UGH! This lady needs to work from home hiding behind a computer NOT in customer service!!! read more

I was in this evening and was having trouble checking out, Marcella Came over and assisted. She was very patient as we had to take items out of a bag then re-bag them and adjust the price on six different items. When I got home putting away the groceries I realize I was missing a few items. I went back to the store encountered Marcella., who with a smile said hi I remember you. Marcella then walked me over to the deli department as they were closing and requested they re-cut some meat, and the butcher was more than accommodating as well. I am so happy they work at the Starbucks inside the Albertsons because they do a great job at customer service, drink creation, and making the customer happy. I went inside to pick up one prescription which should have been auto filled 5 days ago. Since it wasn't, I had to call this morning to find out why it had not been filled. No apologies given. They filled it after my phone call. I just came from the pharmacy and had to get the store manager John involved. I have never used GoodRx for any prescription here. John, the store manager was very helpful and assured me that he would get down to the bottom of the situation. Tyler who is working in the pharmacy, helping me was loud, rude, and resistant to assist me with the good RX coupon. He was telling me that the good RX coupon had already been used. What part of me saying I have never used a good RX coupon for this one and only prescription every time I've picked it up here? Anyway, thank you John for being an outstanding manager to rectify situation. John ended up refunding me with a $15 store gift card. I told John that every time I had come into this particular, grocery store and pharmacy, it was always busy with the long wait times in the pharmacy. So unfortunately, I sadly must say, that I will be transferring that one prescription to another pharmacy for future services. I also will say that while I was at the counter talking with John, there was another female customer talking to another pharmacy employee, and she did not sound happy. She was repeating herself, telling the pharmacy clerk "you are not listening to what I am saying." Sorry save on pharmacy, you have lost a customer. I may however, give the grocery store another try. I did mention to John that the pharmacy entrance/exit should have the grocery store ads at that location as well as the other/exit. Marinus is a fabulous manager. The employees are always so helpful and patient. I've always had a great experience here and I am always taken care of. Guys, this is a brand new grocery store that's located in a very underserved part of town, an area that has a very dense population yet extremely limited retail options. Of course a brand spanking new grocery store is going to have some growing pains, so lighten up a bit! I'm a loyal Smith's shopper but I was excited to check out this new Albertsons, and wow, is it a nice supermarket! It's very well laid out and spotlessly clean, with a large deli and a gorgeous produce section. I was happy to see that this location carries organic wheat grass (it's hidden in the produce so you have to search for it). It's not that I'm a health-nut juicer, but my cat LOVES the fresh wheat grass! I used to have to drive all the way out to Sprouts to find it, but now there's a place that sells it much closer to my home and office. So score one for my kitty! I'm also an amateur home cook and I was amazed at the variety of items carried at this location. If you're looking for some odd or special ingredient, don't go to Whole Foods: come here. The seafood and cheese departments are things of beauty, with all sorts of rare and hard to find items. If you're a grocery store junkie like me, take an hour or so out of your day to come in and just browse the aisles. You never know what you might find. Lots of parking, but it can be challenging to get in and out of the parking lot due to traffic. Long lines at checkout but again, it's just because this is a brand new store. Just moved to the Mountain's Edge area from So. California and it looks like this Albertsons will be our primary grocery store due to its location. So far, have been very happy with the store and the friendliness and helpfulness of every employee with whom I've had contact. A gentleman in the butcher section was exceptionally helpful in filling my order today. Another employee saw me looking around a bit confused (since I wasn't familiar with the layout), asked what product I was looking for and then directed me right to it! Finally, Vangie, the young lady in charge of the self-checkout area when I was leaving, was extremely patient after I had goofed up a couple of items that I thought were on sale and had missed the coupon download on the store app. So, all in all, glad that we have moved to NV and that the closest store to us is proving to be one worth revisiting! read more

This isn't about the Albertson's specifically but I couldn't find a way to review the Starbucks inside the store. I came here one morning and was greeted by a very rude short white lady at the Starbucks. I remember her name being Nicole. I've ordered the same drink from Starbucks every time and this is the first time it's tasted disgusting because she made it. Tried to tell me that she made it right but clearly she didn't. She scoffed and sighed at me while handing the remade drink which didn't taste any better. Please hire better baristas or at least ones that know how to treat customers. read more

I come here all the time and usually have a good experience except for today. I was in the produce section and was trying to get some veggies while a grouchy, miserable worker named GREG was restocking I kindly grabbed what I needed and made sure to be courteous enough to keep all the produce nice and neat. He must hate his job and his life because he started throwing a tantrum and giving me the stink eye while shaking his head at me, throwing the produce and the boxes around as if I did something wrong. Me being me was not gonna have him treat me that way so I approached and confronted him and asked if he had a problem with me and him being a punk a$$ bi#@h said no like there was nothing wrong. I generally go elsewhere for my major grocery shopping, but on occasion, I drop by Albertson's on Blue Diamond and Buffalo for an item or two. I find the staff friendly, the location clean, and the prices reasonable, but not great. There are occasional (very rare) specials that even beats Walmart, but they are few and far between. If lower prices and specials were more available or frequent, I would probably shop at this very pleasant supermarket more often since it's the closest to where I live. read more
