Quick, accurate, expedient curbside service. Very pleased with price savings. ALDI is my go to store.

Picture Winco foods prices but Central Market swagger and quality. A warehouse atmosphere with upscale quality @ low low prices. Found meaty mcmeaty spareribs @ just $1.97/lb. Cheaper than Samsclub and Costco. Smoked them 4 hrs @ 250°, then wrapped them an hr @ 325°, then rested them before on open flam to mop with my sawsiest sawse. (Sauce somes in jars, sawse is made by pitmasters). These are competition level ribs, at a price other grocers struggle to compete with. Enough of me going on about them. Stop by, give this store a looksie. Grab a cart outside first, cuz that's how Joe rolls. Merry Christmas and a belly full of ribs!

The prices are just as great as the mega store. You can find cost efficient products without sacrificing value from fresh produce, meats, spices, and other highly sort after household items. These locations do not have a fresh seafood or butcher block, but you can find frozen seafood in the meat cases that range from crab legs, shrimp, to seafood boil bags. The cashiers are fast and friendly so don't let a long line intimidate you. This place is worth a commute if you do not have one nearby.

Vegan review- they no longer have the cauliflower steak, so I ordered the fried green tomato sandwich with a side of steamed veggies. I had it dry as the sauce is creamy. The sandwich was great! The seasoning in the breading was not salty, it had a great crunch. It could have used lettuce. I also got chai latte in the coffee shop! It was creamy and spicy! Very delicious It's fun knowing they grew some of these foods from their own farm! I will definitely come back to try more food!

I picked up fresh lobster tail for a reasonable price and was very impressed when the deli man asked if I wanted it on ice! Of course since I live a little ways out. This is an elevated grocery store with so much unique finds you won't see at any other grocery store (quail egg's & fresh octopus!) Another plus I love (and the reason I'll frequent more often) is their $1 roses! I love fresh flowers at home so I'll be returning to make my own bouquet. Plus the customer service is great too! So many staff happy and willing to help.

Casey who owns Lone Star knows his craft and does it well. And at a fare price too. I have had other companies try to sharpen my Chef knives, but no one does it so professionally like Casey. And just in time for the Holiday cooking!!! Casey has sharpened my knives for 10 years now. I have seen him do miracle things to knives that have lost the tip or their edge. Swing by Lover's Central Market and have Lone Star sharpen your knives while you do some weekend grocery shopping. Tell Casey, Carmen sent you! oxo

Organic ingredients are incorporated into recipes whenever possible (like smoothies with organic juice and soy milk, which keep well in a freezer). Crosby's organic, fair trade, shade-grown coffees (including decaf made using the Swiss water process) are locally micro-roasted within a few days of home delivery. When I used to order a week's worth of food at a time, I felt pangs of guilt about the waste my individually-packaged meals created, but no more -- Dallas residents can recycle the plastic containers Crosby uses in the city-issued blue bins for curbside pickup.

One of the weekends each month they do food products only, and the other Saturday it's kind of an open fair thing where anyone can go so you'll get people who make all sorts of things. We're particularly partial to the local meats from Windy Hill because they are always delicious. This lady from Waggin' Tail treats comes there a lot too and she makes the best dog treats ever. Also there's a company that brings fresh pasta called Lucido's Produce & Herbs which is phenomenal. They even have frozen ravioli in all kinds of flavors which are omgtodiefor. The vendors either take cash or check. You can get cash from inside the gas station, the cashier will do it for you for a $2 charge (like an ATM). It's in the parking lot of the Green Spot Market & Fuels, which also has probably the best taco place in Dallas (Good 2 Go Taco). Awesome! Overall, I absolutely love this part of my community and I'm going to miss it terribly when I move next year. Super cute local market in Lakewood!…read more I think the term "farmers market" is a misnomer since there was only an itty bitty selection of produce and fresh foods. What they do offer is lots of local products like baked goods, soaps, salsas and unique crafts. I love supporting small, local businesses so this market is right up my alley. I copped some yummy French macaroons and a spicy marinade that I can't wait to try with some fish for dinner. It's small and the location changes every other week so be sure to check their website before you head out. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area but I would not make a special trip or anything.
