We had to drive a good ways to get here cuz there isn't one within a 40 minute drive of our house. They didn't disappoint though. You were able to get in and get a bunch of stuff so we can make a nice charcuterie board and I think them for that. We got in right before they closed but no one was short with us they closed the door from other people coming in but we didn't get thrown out on our faces. I think we all like these locations for what they have this won't be any different from any others but at least this location understood good customer service. read more

I entered this store late afternoon on 12/8 and it just felt so dirty. If my mother didn't ask me for German holiday cookies, I would have never entered. I went to get a gallon a whole milk while I was there and all the jugs that I could reach had milk all over on the outside. No way would I buy milk like this at any price. Used self check out so I did not have to interact with anyone and leave quickly. This store is a disgrace and the prices are not that good. read more

This Aldi is perfectly stocked with fresh produce and an incredible variety of items. Of course, I'm a huge Aldi fan since Europe and having them here in the US is the cherry on top. However, not all Aldi's are created equally. This place has the variety and products in stock that you can dream of when visiting any Aldi location. I scored some gorgeous pineapple babes recently for under $2! That's a steal. Always love browsing through the aisles and getting lost in the Aldi merch section. This Aldi for sure is now one of my faves in the area. Pro tip: don't forget your quarter! You'll need it for your cart. And no, don't trick yourself into thinking you're only grabbing some apples and oranges. Your arms will come out of there SWOLE and begging for a cart. read more

Bring your own grocery bags if you shop here. They do not provide bags at all. I would define this place as a grocery store with minor supermarket features (i.e. meat freezers). It's on the smaller size with several small isles of groceries and a few knickknacks. Most of the products seem to be no-frills no name brand products. I stopped in because my wife likes buying salad bags here because they are cheap and while pricing is inexpensive I can't see myself doing regular grocery shopping in a no-frills market. If you're bored stop to peruse otherwise I'd skip this place. read more

I love Aldis, and I generally go to the one in Monroe, NY, and it is SUPER clean. I just went to this one in Newburgh, and the bathrooms were very unsanitary and dirty. There was not even soap. They put sanitizer on the sink instead. I was grossed out. read more

Certainly on the bottom of the list of Aldis I have visited in NY and NJ. The aisles are not as clean, typically cluttered with products still in boxes. The produce section is often messy and cluttered, not well stocked with sale items. But the worst part is the often slow checkout. There is typically 1 or maybe 2 cashiers and lines of carriages, often 6 or more. Wait time to checkout is 15 minutes. On this day there was one line of 21 carriages going to the back of the store with 2 cashiers. The three other employees were roaming around the store moving stuff. There are many Help Wanted signs outside the store. They certainly need help! read more

First things first , you need a quarter for a pushcart and don't try and ask the cashier for change of a dollar or you will get atleast 5 women yelling at you that there is a line. ok now prices awesome I was happily surprised at how low some were and on the flip side very limited on selection. Shoppers not so friendly or helpful . I was there and had a ful cart of food 4 in front of me and 6 gehind me only 1 register open I guess that's why shoppers had attitude. I wouldn't call the place dirty but it's not clean more of a bodega on steroids than a supermarket. All in all id say don't plan your food shopping trip there but definitely do go there before going food shopping for the deals overpriced in the supermarket. This store is growing on me. Prices are low. They don't stock a wide variety of brands, but I am starting to see that as a plus. For instance, no need to spend time deciding what brand of tortilla chips to buy-- there is only one brand. :-) Produce is generally good but limited in variety. Inspect your fruits and vegetables though because produce quality is not always consistent. They have meat, dairy and frozen foods but no deli, butcher shop, salad bar or ready to eat foods. Check-out is the most efficient I have ever seen in any grocery store. The cashiers are friendly and really keep things moving--I have never seen products get rung up more quickly than at Aldi. Just be prepared to take your cart of groceries from the check out to the counters across the aisle where you put them into your own bags. If you are looking for no frills shopping and inexpensive basic items, Aldi is great. But if you are looking for a gourmet grocery with a wide variety of produce and specialty items, go down the road to Adams. read more

First of all, Aldi in general is a great store. We love it. I go at least once a week and buy all of our basics here and save so much money. They also have wonderful special items like cheeses, etc. You'll find great deals on produce as well. This location is not my favorite. It's usually more crowded than I prefer but if I'm in the area I'll stop by. Bring some reusable bags with you- no problem. You should be using those at all stores anyways so no big deal. Don't forget your quarter for the cart - you'll get it back when you return the cart to the front of the store. read more

Not customer friendly. Leaves people waiting in line. When I asked if they were going to open another line I was told no, 2 minutes later a line opened at the request of another shopper. The cashier opening did not ask thise already waiting to come over, just started helping whoever came up unprifessional at.osphere I guess with cheap prices comes 'cheap' help too! Aldi is a hidden gem that grows on you. German company that is quietly gaining it's footing in the American supermarket industry. 85% is their own brand. They carry one of each type of item. No frills. Great prices. Bring your own bags or grab an empty box in the store. No cart boys, so bring your quarter for your shopping cart. Cash or debit only. Staff is efficient and hardworking. They lose a star because the lines are usually lonnnng, but they do move fast. read more
