Tried the garlic bread cheese last night with crackers. Cut small slices and heated in the air fryer, just enough to soften the cheese. It is delicious with just the right amount of garlic. Adding it on top of a lightly toasted slice of fresh bread would be amazing. The staff is always hustling to restock the floor and remove empty boxes. I also appreciate that they open up a new lane when there is a line. They also care about their customers, rather than the big box grocery store. Once again, I was in Orlando with time to kill and I stopped in this location to see if they might have anything different than the ones closer to me. Sometimes I get lucky like that. This location was pretty much like every other Ollie I go to. It was easy to get around and find the items I was looking for They always have stuff worth checking out and their Aldi finds aisle. Check out was quick and efficient, which is what I am used to finding. Lots of interesting food items, including some frozen items that I was interested in but couldn't buy on this particular occasion. It was a well lit store and kept very clean. read more

A ok location! Medium sized location with large parking lot. They have a huge variety of products, from pool floats to organic produce. There are limited options for each type of item but prices are way low and it's easy to shop. Be sure to remember to bring your own bags as they only sell ones here and don't provide then - grab your reusable ones and put em to work! Every little bit matters anyways so it's good to get into this habit. The parking lot is large enough you should get a close spot so a brief walk with bags is no biggie. Be sure to look through everything as it's all kinda mixed together. They do have some clear sections, like frozen food and produce. Review # 888. What can I tell you about Aldi that has not already been said. This particular one is located in Orlando Florida, near the Florida Mall. This is your typical Aldi with a great selection of food and beverages, items that any normal grocery store will carry. Now the all the business model is that they will carry only the top 1200 selling items. There is no bakery, no deli. This is one way that they keep costs down. Prices are usually lower than the competition. But where they get you are with the seasonal items, and the limited availability of certain items. I must say they really do have some cool things for sale causing most of us to do an impulse purchase. But if you going here with a budget in mind, you can stick to it. You just may be pleasantly surprised. When Aldie came into your Orlando market, it started a price competition amongst all the groceries in the area. Who wins in that battle, we do. Best place to save on everyday groceries! If you want to stock up on staples, dry goods, etc and save a lot of money versus shopping at the big named grocers, then this place is for you. The quality on most of their "generic" brand items is pretty good. If you have some hang ups about store brands then you may have a hard time here. Although they do carry some name brand items, most everything they sell is an Aldi brand. My typical gets here are eggs, milk, some meats, canned goods, and bread. I have also picked up some of their frozen items and have been pleased. Produce is hit or miss but they have a great return policy so if you are not satisfied with something just bring it back and they will make it right. Remember these things before you go: Cash or Debit Only Bring your own bags. Otherwise, they have some boxes or you can buy their bags. I visited this store on 9/12/17 and purchased some cans of vegetables- The healthy harvest brand. I left on a trip the following week but the night before I travelled I ate the canned spinach and was sick for 6 hours throwing up and had to fly early the next day in same condition. It was the worst food poisoning I had ever experienced. The following week I went to the store to talk to the manager and had to wait 30 minutes and fill out forms. She said that they would get back to me. I heard nothing back. Very shoddy customer service and followup. Needless to say...I have not been back to Aldi! Wow - I've only been to this store once but I am in love! This is the most inexpensive grocery store I've ever been to. Who can get a 5 pound bag of flour for $1.50? I can! Who can get a 4-stick box of butter for $1.50? I can! The reason why these prices are so low is because there's low overhead. You need a quarter to unlock your shopping cart (which you get back when you wrangle it back to the cart stockade yourself), you buy plastic bags if you don't bring your own, and you can only use cash or debit card to pay. You bag your own groceries. They have many name-brand items. Their generic items, such as butter, flour, milk, etc. are great and just as fantastic as anything one would get at a regular grocery store. They even have wine! This is a great store to stock up on essentials like bread, milk, butter, cereal, and frozen items. This particular location is in a nice area and is a brand new store. I love Aldi. Aldi is much smaller in size than a typical grocery store which means you find what you are looking for faster. They cary very few name brands (for example Happy Farms Cheese instead of Kraft) but they are all comparable in taste and quality. From time to time they may not carry exactly what a specific recipe calls for but you can always make a quick run to Publix for that. The best part about Aldi is the price. My wife and I spend about $35 less at Aldi for the same products we would by at Publix or the dirty Wal-Mart Grocery. Came to Aldin with great expectations of this supermarket since I heard that it is owned by the same company that Trader Joes is. I love trader Joes so I thought it may be something similar, just targeted different in terms of design. Well I must say that this is a completely different supermarkets. The prices are great, definitely very inexpensive. Here you can't find the basics you need for grocery shopping, but no special things like toiletteries. The place is clean and nice to shop at. The only bummer was that from 4 Check out lines only one was open. So I needed to wait some time on line for check out. read more

Awesome! I first heard/used to go to this place in North Carolina, where my german friends would go for groceries. SOOO THHRILLED to have found a place near my apartment here in Orlando. The location i went to specifially was on Alafaya, about 7 miles from my casa. I literally bought 25 items and paid 28 dollars! At How many places would THAT happen? Anyways, the most expensive thing i bought was MILK. that was 3.0-something, and totally worth it. I most DEFINITELY will be coming here more often. Very great store. It's is well kept as well as nicely stock. I never have a problem finding any of the items and I need. I like that it s very inexpensive so I'm always surprised that I'm not over the budget.
