After frequenting grocery chains in California like Vons and Ralph's, Publix was and still is a breath of grocery store fresh air! I don't find it overly expensive at all, everything is always clean, stocked and produce is fresh and the deli - OMG - Pub Subs and fresh meats and cheeses, salads, wings and delicious lemon pepper rotisserie chicken for such a low price. Cashiers and employees are always friendly and proactively ask you if you need help. Cashiers often strike up conversations and always offer to help you with your groceries out to your car. If you want a particular product they don't carry, they can offer it for you! I could live my life off the weekly BOGOs. Publix - where shopping really is a pleasure! read more

Today I had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich from the deli at the Publix's, and I give credit to Michele S, who made it. I must say it was tasty, meaty and was made to order. However, it was just a little bland. Next time I'll order the boar head meat and white American cheese. If you plan on stopping for a bite don't go at lunchtime ...long lines, very busy. read more

Andrea believes that the clerk lying to me was justified because he didn't think I was a regular shopper at this location. I returned the next day to show her receipts from past purchases, but her salaried position could not be bothered during her lunch break, so in comes pinch hitter "rich"(ironically fitting). From the moment I met "rich" I knew he was not here to listen to my complaints he was here to sweep it under the rug. His scowling what do you want look and combative attitude made me feel he could care less about me so I told him I would take it up with his corporate office. He followed me as I walked out and peppered me with questions. Out front there was a garbage can so I stopped and showed him my previous receipts. Now this man is a master at deflection. He would never accept responsibility for what happened under his management, even blaming other locations for constantly calling him for things. Then the truth came out. He didn't just back Andrea up he doubled down. His excuse for the clerk lying to me was " I have a lot of C.E.O.'s from large corporations and professional athletes that shop at my store and I need to take good care of them". Since I am neither I guess I am SOL. Congrats on the new slogan. "We make our clerk's fleece the everyday customers so our manager's can take care of the ultra wealthy". Great location and great service. I have never had any problem or question that the staff couldn't help with regarding food. I love this Publix and I k ow I'm partial bc it's close to my home but even still this is a great Publix. It's clean but not the cleanest, however the staff is great and the service is above par. Publix is the best, hands down. The people are SO nice, the store is always so clean and well stocked, the produce is fresh and has a great variety, there is a bakery and deli area including sandwiches and salads - AKA grabbing a quick "Pub Sub," has become one of my favorites on my way to the lake. It's a tad pricier than some other places, but there are also a lot of BOGO options available at all times, registers fully staffed, everyone available to lend a helping hand at any time, self check out is available as well / quick & easy... and random note.. all their carts work well and drive in a straight line without breaking your arm or making a horrific noise lol. If there's such thing as a "classy" grocery store, it's Publix! read more

Will not return. Waited 45 minutes in the deli line with 2 people ahead of me . 2 people working behind the counter. 1 person not attending line , the other attending customers from line. 5 people behind me. Publix had 4employees at the sandwich bar making 1 sandwich. Poor management of resources . 3 people including myself left the line & store after 45 minutes without any products and will not return. read more

This has been my go-to Publix for about 7 years now and even with the addition of a Walmart nearby, I still prefer to shop here. This location is clean, organized, well stocked. Their staff are friendly, helpful, and nice. You can't go wrong with a good Pub Sub and their daily deals make those even more of a steal...although I usually fancy the moderately priced Chicken Tender Wrap for a hearty lunch option. They just recently added four Self Checkout kiosks! We'll see how those end up being... right now it's a little hard to form a line for that section without crowded the main walkway, but I appreciate the addition! Hoping that makes my quick trips to Publix that much quicker! Also, when it's flu season, you get a free $10 Publix gift cards when you get your flu shot at their Pharmacy. I continue to go to Publix for their BOGO deals, well stocked and organized inventory, and chill customers. read more

This is our new neighborhood publix. I really like this publix. It is clean and organized. Service was slightly lacking. I came here with my mom to get some Pub subs (the best subs ever). The wait was a little while for a sub. I noticed a employee was making her own sub, then another employee made what I think was a order and on the other side a employee was making the gentleman in front of us a sub. At no time did anyone tell us they would be with us momantarily. With so many people working and no one in line but one person it was a little rude. Customers first! Once they took our order they were very friendly and our subs were delicious, we ate them in the lounge area. Everyone else was polite and friendly and I enjoyed my shopping experience. read more

It's Publix! That should be enough said. All Publix's in my mind anyway expect for a few odd things are the best. This place is the cleanest store I have ever been in. Both inside and out. There parking lot is well maintained. I swear not one cart running amuck. Always where they should be. I have never seen one in the lot other then in the parking corral where they belong. Someone is always collecting them to keep the lot clear. I like that. Yep this is the store for you. The aisles are wide and clutter free. The selection of prepared food is great. Bakery selection is yummy. The BEST make your own salad EVER!!!! Everything always looks so fresh. All my encounters with staff have been pleasant. The bathrooms are well kept and clean. Another amazing Publix. This store is the best of the best. One of the largest locations I have ever been in. Extremely clean and well maintained. Personnel was as in all Publix's extremely polite and friendly. Again, the one problem would be the deli section. I have now learned to just place my deli orders online and pick them up so I don't need the headache of having to wait since there is always a line wither you are getting cold cuts or subs or hot food. Just got back from publix and ordered a last minute sub. I actually went to subway first but they didn't have any bread left, so I came here. They were closing the deli but this young man help me with my two subs even cut up fresh cheese and politely made my subs. He was super nice and the publix was super clean and organized. Yes this is the first publix I've ever been too and it's great!!!!! I don't know if this opinion is skewed coming from a person who's only ever really been to Albertsons but here, they ask you every time how your day is and at the deli, you always get a slice of meat to try with your order. Publix subs are also extremely delicious in my opinion. I think you can get an and just add a bunch of that chipotle mayo and it'll taste good. I like how their sales are usually buy one get one so I always end up coming out with two's!! I still have an extra tub of whip cream that I don't know when I'll use but at least I got a good deal!! Handicapped parking is constantly occupied by non handicap people because they only think of themselves and I've called Publix about it and they said it's the landlords problem to call them. Therefore we that are handicapped must walk further, that's a big problem read more

If you need good flowers, but don't want high prices, this is the place! I've bought flowers here a number of times, and they've always bloomed large and lasted much longer than expected. Other than that, this is a standard Publix. No complaints. As far as chain grocery stores I like the deli selection at Publix best. Their bottom (not top) round roast beef is always a favorite. Their people are very polite and they are willing to please, but their pharmacy is slow as molasses. After an half hour wait at their drive through window, I was told that I would have to wait another hour to get a perscription filled. Not real good when you just had dental surgery and you can't come back. So, I did without. They need more personnel to handle the load, not complain that it was because they were closed on Easter day. Shame on you, I would expect better service from publix. I have to say I used to like this Publix, not only because it's nearby but the people are friendly/helpful and the sushi tastes great. I love the variety. The only reason for me to go into Publix now is for the sushi! The problem is when they renovated, the shelving is so high I feel like I'm boxed in the aisles and I have to hurry to get around to the next section before it "feels" like it's going to topple over on me. In addition, they changed how you enter the store - we used to be able to enter the left side doors and walk straight into the store - now you have to walk all the way around the cashiers or walk behind and through a line that's not open - very inconvenient for those of us who were accustomed to walking in either door. If you walk in the right side doors it goes to the bakery side, but if you want the pharmacy you walk around. Whatever, I don't like it but I know they won't change it for me so I only go there when I have to but I don't like the closed in feeling of the high shelves. I get what I can from Aldi and skip Publix unless I'm too sick to drive further. read more

We moved out to lake Nona a year ago, and in a year's time I could not grow to be very fond of this publix, a personal problem I guess. I have pretty bad food allergies and this location is always out of any products that I can buy. I prefer to go to the Publix further down Narcoosee which takes 20 more minutes but if that's what it takes to eat that's what I will do. Hopefully they can fix this issue read more

I weekly come to this Publix with my husband and son. I have always found this store to be clean, organized and the staff is helpful and friendly. Anytime I've had an issue it is always corrected without issue and to my satisfaction. I also have no issue using store brand items vs name brand ones as I have found the Publix brand items to generally be just as good. I mean all Publix's are pretty great but this one is very clean, has very friendly staff, and the layout makes sense and everything is fairly easy to find.
