Since this is the only way to speak to anyone in customer service. The switch to insta cart is horrible. No one to speak to when the shopper gives you rotten or expired food on your order. You go in to return and they tell you to contact instant cart yet there's no way to talk to insta cart. Here I am now, forced to eat the cost. Also, been waiting for two hours past my time for order to be shopped. They claim no shoppers available. I'm sure this is the work around for not doing their job to a better standard. Just don't shop the order. Not like there's a customer service number that I can complain to right? A few bad apples working here making it harder for everyone else. Customers included. read more

I love Aldi and I make it a point to visit the store in the locale I am at. This was my least liked Aldi. Because it is shared with many other businesses and restaurants, parking is shared. They could improve on arranging merchandise and keeping the aisles clutter-free, I found it hard to maneuver the cart. I hate when I have to re-do a nice review, but they have more than earned it. This is not March 2020, it is 2023 and this Palmdale Aldi doesn't have red potatoes, regular brown onions, purple onions.. basic staples, nothing esoteric. I was here last week and found the situation the same. Third visit in a row that they didn't have at least half of what I came in for. They don't even have an empty space for the Shepherds Pie featured in their ad. Dude in the store said he doesn't think they sell those. I showed him the ad and he said, "oh". Half of the dairy case was bare. Not just sparse, the shelves were empty. What's happening here? When I'm down in Santa Clarita, their store doesn't look like this. I'm not sure how many times I'll keep giving Aldi Palmdale another chance because at some point, I'm insane for walking in and expecting a different outcome. read more

I went to ALDI's this morning. The checker was not polite at all. I had a feeling she would act that way. She was giggling and talking with the previous customer. She saw my items, rolled her eyes, and brought their inside cart in. She overcharged me for an item I did not purchase. She placed my receipt in the cart. WOW! If I could give zero out of five stars, I would. Aldi's does not have an specific number for any of their store locations to complain about this in order to save the customers from high prices. That is utter nonsense and a cop-out to dodge accountability and responsibility for errors. This why I tell my mom I don't like to shop at Aldi's. read more

I finally went to Aldi's for the first time yesterday and sadly it wasn't a good experience! Some of the fruits and veggies were old or starting to rot. I bought almost $200 worth of groceries and not one of my items were bagged, everything was transferred into another cart. I had to bag all my items outside in the parking lot, it was dark and I was alone with my small child. I don't see myself coming back again. read more

Once a long time this store was great friendly employees and great prices well like so many other things this is no longer the case ,I do understand they need to be quick and get people through the line but being rude is never needed and having to hear the cashier talking about you to the next customer because you are disabled and moved to slowly because you are disabled is disgusting and than yeah they were young but telling them they got some good cheap sh.. is never right even if that is todays language .I will continue to shop here as can we really expect any better the only great customer service is at Traders Joe funny Aldi is related but I now see its the ugly step child .Oh well guess I will just shop and know much like Walmart this is not the place to expect anything but rude people. read more

I would just like to write this post in appreciation of Sarah, who is an employee at Aldi (Palmdale). My husband had a pre-existing small wound on his arm. He hit it when reaching for an item. It began bleeding drops. Sarah came over immediately and provided a cover for the wound and cleaning the drops on the floor. She also applied a bandage that was the perfect size. Her attitude and quick response were above and beyond expectations. We are customers for life now. read more

I would love to see Debbie in a management position. Because of her exemplary conduct, I decided to continue my shopping trip at ALDI. It's been disappointing to shop here the customer service sucks. I bought extra bags and I realized I didn't need them so I wanted to leave them for other people. Keep in mind i bought the bags. Hilarious that a worker would take already purchased bags and put them back on the shelf!!! I grabbed and gave them to someone because that's so absurd to take purchased backs and make another profit for them. Then the lady had the nerve to say " I didn't know" How could you not know when you work there and you know that that is an area with Where people bag their items even I know that and I don't work there Secondly, I was with my mom today and we were in line when the cashier Mark ( at least that's what the receipt says) he looks like in his early twenties, tan, black hair. He decided to volunteer a lady to go ahead of us. While yes, I understand she may have fewer items it is not his job not his decision to volunteer people to go ahead of others. It would've been a different story if I did that. Then he asked me if it was okay and it's what am I suppose to say? No. Now that he put it out on blast I'm not gonna say no. Return a product never got my refund contact Aldi they said it would be refunded within 10 working days never got the refund now they are saying the already refunded me and they have not this company likes to play games over a 46.00 refund they like to take your money and once you ask for a product that was less then satisfactory they hold on so they don't have to refund your money I'm never shop there again. read more

Very excited to see this midwestern store here n the AV. Lots of organic items to choose from. Can goods of u eat them are mainly .49 each. Milk is $2.25 if u eat dairy. Cereal and lots of stuff is extremely affordable. Grocery carts are .25 to rent. However u do get ur money back once u return the cart. Overall I'm impressed with the store. I cannot say enough about the service I received today at this location. It was my first time trying the curbside pickup, and due to issues with the app on the stores end we had to do things a little differently. When the issue came up the store manager herself called me to let me know there was an issue and how we could go about completing my transaction. She was very kind and explained everything very well. I am on a walker and cannot stand for long periods of time. I had to go in to pay for my order and let her know about my physical situation. So when I arrived it was less than 5 minutes that we were all done and not only did she help me very quickly in the store. She also is the one that came out and loaded my groceries into my car. So I want to give a huge shout out, two thumbs up, and a double high five to Sarah! You are a fine example of what a store manager should be. read more

Like Walmart and Trader Joe's had a kid. One of the best grocery stores I've been to outside of Target which is a rarity because most stores outside of Target absolutely suck. They have a very unique selection of food that my husband and I really really enjoyed. Prices aren't Walmart cheap but cheaper than Trader Joe's and for the selection, its worth it. Only thing I hated was that one cashier was on duty so the checkout process was pretty stupid. The self-bagging would've been okay if the cashier at the time informed us where to go and where the bags were as it was our first time. read more

Produce and other groceries are actually a good deal here! I need to shop here instead of Vons..where the produce is quadruple the price. I stop in during lunch breaks to walk around since it's not to a bunch of eateries. The long was long once and I asked if they'd open up another register, and the employee jumped on it. I like Aldi. I find the prices really low. The produce, meat and frozen seafood are always fresh. You can't find everything here that is at a regular grocery store but I can find about 90 percent if the things that I need. Some of the cashiers can be a little on the surly side, but that happens at more expensive grocery stores. read more

Best store ever!!!! I just recently saw that they were doing curbside pickup which I so appreciate! I tried it out and I give it 11 out of 10. OMG!! It was perfect! I was able to go to Costco, get all my shopping done there, than go pick up my stuff from Aldi and not have to worry about any of my cold stuff from Costco. It was so simple, I pulled up, clicked a link to say I was there, and not even a minute later, someone was walking out with my groceries. So easy, and I love it! I loved everything about this store. The prices are great. The food quality is good. And there's plenty of choices. It's not overwhelming when you go in and they have all the basics and fun extras. I loved the way the food is displayed so it's easy to see and shop quickly of you're in a hurry (which I was). And all the German imported foods/chocolates are yummy! I appreciated their huge Gluten-free selection. We'll be regulars there. P.S. Remember to bring a quarter for a cart and bags if you don't want to pay for them. read more

My first two experiences with the shopping cart and staff were terrible. Apparently Aldi, a "Family Company" has never had to carry a baby up to the front of the store to get shopping carts, unlock it with a purse, diaper bag and bottle bag and then repeat on the return. I seriously just look for someone who has a cart and I give them a quarter and at the end if my son is asleep or cranky I just leave the cart in the lot near my car and forget getting the quarter back. Also the parking lot is dark. I got solicited there the last time at night by a guy and his kids and it was creepy. There is a good variety of products. I'd say I'm mostly there for the fresh produce, meats, coffee and the potluck of 'what's here and maybe weird" factor. If you see something of interest, but it bc it probably won't be there the next trip. Their store name cereal and a few other items were total misses. No flavor. I also scan the ingredients bc some seem iffy and full of filler. Also why are they selling potato chips with cancer causing ingredients per the signs all over the shelves! The last trip my credit card was texting me for non fraud confirmation so my card kept getting declined bc I wasn't looking at my phone. Once that was figured out, it was good to go and the cashiers were nice. But the bagging thing is terrible. Hire a bagger for minimum wage and hire a cart person for minimum wage! When I'm spending $175 on a grocery run I don't expect it to be difficult and petty. read more

This store gives you a great shopping experience. My hubby and i shop here happily, once a week. We have had to supplement very little from another store (Diet Pepsi for hubby). We have permanently switched. Our eating habits are better and the savings incredible. We now buy our tortillas .79, taco seasoning .35, ground turkey 3.99, havarti, chips, and other things exclusively at Aldi's. Fresh, affordable, convenient and quick. What's not to like? read more
