Their machine was down, and they didn't inform anyone, so I had to go get $300 in cash and return. They didn't even apologize or say thank you.

Waited the entire day through lots of work and meetings just to go to the Grand Opening of Aldi in Poway. Stepped inside and was pleasantly surprised to see such a well organized store! They had a little of this and that. Check out my pictures. One thing I will say is their prices were really good. In addition, I found some unusual items such as biltong. Yum!! The checking out was easy, everything was cleaned and easy. The cashier was chatty and nice. They gave out free bags fro the grand opening. This store is really new and interesting. I am happy they moved into Poway. Keep up the good work!

This is really a nice Aldi location. The store appears roomier that many of the other stores. Layout is also a bit different - maybe the concept was updated. As far as merchandise goes, I found everything that I am used to in the other Aldi stores around the area with a nice stress-free environment. Glad I stopped at this location.

    Curbside pickup service was awesome!

Had a great experience doing Aldi pickup via Instacart. I spent about $45 so the fee was only $1.99. I was super happy with the prices and the quality of what I bought. I was pleasantly surprised that the raspberries were really good! I did a check-in to see I was on my way as I was leaving Walmart. By the time I got to Aldi, just a few blocks away, I didn't even need to do the next check-in to say I was there because my groceries were already coming out to me. Aldi's Instacart timing is a little different than others like Sprouts. They filled my order two or three hours before the beginning of the time window I selected, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the notification said I needed to pick up by 12:00 p.m. (Sprouts says to pick up any time until 8:00 p.m.). It's just a matter of learning the nuances for each retailer. I will definitely do Instacart pickup with Aldi again!

Maybe it was the day or Aldi is suffering from supply chain problems. Many shelves were empty in this store, and its produce section was cut down by 1/3.

Surprised by the selection! Lots of good choices and great prices! Went on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't too busy. The cashier said they are usually a lot busier, and will probably get more busy as people realize they are open! I really like the store and will come back for our grocery shopping, just hoping we can find times that are not packed. Great selection of cheese, quality beef, produce, and frozen food. Don't forget a quarter for the cart! :)

Love this ALDI but the manager, I think her name was Hailey, was rude when we asked her a question.

Of course don't forget to bring a quarter for the carts, but if you do; you can always ask a friendly cashier for one.

All of the vendors are really friendly & knowledgable. This farmers market is extremely dog friendly so be aware if you have allergies. The only downside to this market is how rude people can be when it comes to their dogs. We've seen owners let their dogs go to the bathroom just steps away from vendor tents and it's disgusting. Overall a really nice farmers market with lots of yummy food & local produce.

We've always wanted to get fresh, warm and delicious bread and pastries from the Chaupain Bakery stand, but their line has always been insanely long. Luckily enough during our visit this past weekend, the line wasn't as terrible when we passed by them--you grab that opportunity without dilly dallying because a minute later, that can change real quick. We got a slice of their caramelized onion quiche, a strawberry bar, a chocolate chip muffin, and a bag of their brioche buns. Sooooo yummy! We also got Amapola's banana pudding and it was divine! The perfect dessert for a sweet tooth. It's served chilled, so creamy and not too sweet. I love that you still get some banana chunks in there too. Will definitely get this again the next time we visit! I was also in dire need of more coffee that morning, so I decided to get some from Wipeout Coffee. I got a large Iced Hazelnut Latte with oat milk. I was so happy to get to try new coffee from a local roaster! It was pretty good--I really enjoyed my drink--just an insane amount of ice even after asking for light ice. Their coffee was just so crisp and refreshing. They also have all kinds of fresh and vibrant greenery, flowers, and produce that are all just so hard to resist! Unless something drastic changes, we'll always come to visit this farmer's market.

I love going to supermarkets and especially ones that I am not familiar with and like to explore and discover new things to try. This market is fairly small and it had basically two aisles but its filled from floor to ceiling with Russian and Eastern European goods. The front deli case has all the smoked fish you want and also plenty of different kinds of sausages too. And since its the holidays, there are also plenty of fun chocolates and gift items! I chose to buy some rusk bread crisps (salmon and cheese flavored) and Russian style egg salad. Both were good! I didnt know what to expect with Russian style egg salad as it has cheese and fresh garlic in it, so I was a little worried if I didnt like it, but good thing is that I definitely liked it and can definitely pair them with some Carr crackers as a snack! Almost everyone in here was speaking Russian and I definitely felt like a weirdo in there but everyone was nice to me and welcoming. My only gripe is that the rusk crisp was labeled as $1.99 and I was charged $2.50. Id come back here again and try other things too next time.
