Has a good selection for a small place. It has a pretty big produce section. Many fresh looking items the last time. Friendly service for the most part. They have a pretty good layout so it's not too hard finding stuff. Also has fresh made items. They have baked goods and salads in the deli part. It seems like a typical place to buy food. The prices here were reasonable too with everything about average as you'd find in other places so that's always a plus but all the awesome local things were the real kicker. A sign on terminals indicates that the card readers are slow, but it wasn't that noticeable. Due to COVID-19 occupancy in the stote is limited. The store is requiring masks for employees and customers. Patrons must knock on the inside door to be let in. A parking lot is shared with a neighboring business. It's a little town me and my fiancee visited just to get outta dodge for the weekend. We were debating if we should go out to eat for the night or if we should stop by the grocery and grab some stuff for the airbnb and stay in. Decided on the grocery so stopped here due to the intriguing name! I've never seen a grocery & hardware store in one! I wasn't too hopeful, but .... the grocery part was actually very impressive! This little place almost has everything you could want! It has deli type packaged foods and produce on the way in, drinks to the right (including alcohol) snacks and chips n' such in the middle then fridged packaged meats to the back right and more drinks to the back. We ended up grabbing a bunch of stuff and having a decent night in! Prices were pretty ok and selections were pretty ok! Found a little clearance rack in teh back that had some pork rines and bugles, among some others, which were a great find! REALLY cheap clearance, which is awesome! The older checker lady was so sweet and such a quaint pleasure to encounter compared to the usual busy non-chalant city associates I'm used to. Their chicken breast box is the worse 100 dollars I have ever spent. Was shredded, cut, and mangled to the point of being unusable as a breast and needs to be cut up. I talked to someone and they said "other than being shredded it looked fine." Check the photo below to see if you would pay almost 4 dollars a pound for chicken like this. Comes in a box with four bags so who knows what you are getting until you open it.
