Was really disappointed in their thinly sliced chicken. I thought it would be nice thin slices that I could use in a particular recipe. When I open the packaged, it was sort of just mutilated pieces. This is hands down my favorite location. They have a great assortment of produce, shelves are always well stocked including that "special aisle " will all the things I didn't know I needed. Staff is always pleasant if you need help. I'm one of those people who like to self check and they have plenty so never a problem with waiting. The store is clean and well lit also. read more

One of the worst Aldis I have ever been. It is a sunday, and it is packed despite all these below: Cart area has trash underneath that noone seem to care or clean. It was horrible seeing people smashing food trash on the ground to take a cart. Inside is dirty too, smells like MJ. I spent less than 5 min because of their condition then I had to leave. I saw rotten cabbages, not just a couple of them.. Full box of them that they put a price tag on. Supposed to be free or in the trash. Romaine lettuce harvested 8 days ago, already wilted.. Not sure what happened to their quality at other locations, such as Kirkwood. I also reported all these to Aldi customer care. They immediately called me. Hopefully they will fix this location soon. read more

I have to agree with, Kevin W.. All Aldi's are not the same. This Aldi's is way better then some of the other stores I have shopped. It's bigger, cleaner, merchandised better and seems to have a better selection of products. When I receive the Monday sales fliers, I'll be honest, Aldi's is the first one I glance through. I then compare the prices of sale items to the other two major grocers in STL. Most times if they all have similar products on sale, Aldi will have the lower price. Especially on fruits and veggies and all the produce at Aldi is "organic". Most of the brands you see on the shelves at Aldi's may not be the national brands you are familiar with, but the quality is equal and the prices are lower. The staff is friendly and those working as cashiers, are fast and efficient. This has become my favorite Aldi's and slowly is becoming one of my main grocery stores. Not all Aldi's are created equal. Since this Aldi is newer, it has the newer layout and design which makes a huge difference. The aisles are nice and wide and the store is bright with large windows in the front. I've been happy with their selection of goods, especially with their refrigerated pizza selection. If you haven't tried their refrigerated pizza, it's pretty darn good for the price. There's plenty of parking in front of the store. Even at the busiest times, I've been able to find parking that isn't a mile away. This is definitely the Aldi I frequent the most. The best selection of goods I've found in the Aldi's within my vicinity and the nicest. Check it out if you live around the area. Make sure to bring your quarter for the cart and bags to bag groceries! read more

I'd recommend calling before going considering they randomly closed in the middle of the day today.

I wanted to simply type, "ALDI SUPREMACY" and leave it at that, but alas, Yelp would not allow me. There is so much one can say about this grocery store. The overall reasonable prices, the urgency of the staff, the miscellaneous aisle...*sigh.* However, it loses 1 star because the quality of the fruit is consistently poor. My roommate and I bought a patio furniture set with two chairs, one loveseat, and a tempered glass table for $100. We had to assemble it, but all of the pieces except for 1 screw, nut, and bolt were included. It's a cute, solid set. This particular location has so much more character than the others, solely because the man who plays the guitar whilst simultaneously blowing into his harmonica is ALWAYS right outside the store when I go. Aldi never fails me, unless I need better fruit, in which case I head to Dierbergs down the road. read more

Huge & more selection compared to other Aldi's -Wide isles -more designated organic produce -more trays of produce to choose from -more non-perishables (kitchen utensils, special buys) They had 2 lanes open for check-out on a weekday! Overall- It's still an Aldi's just bigger. read more

My eyes have been opened! For years of my life, I've been living in the dark. I mainly shop at Schnucks out of convenience but I recently came to this Aldi....my first Aldi shopping experience. This one is fairly new...so new that it's the only one in the strip mall located across from the Walmart. My wife informed me it's one of the nicer ones she's ever been in if that means anything to ya. What normally would be like $125-$150 of groceries at Schnucks was only $87 here. It was truly a Christmas Miracle. While a lot of the stuff is obviously off brand, it really doesn't sacrifice quality. I was surprised to see they had some high quality meats and other great stuff for hosting. I was expecting just a lot of junk. They even had 6 packs of Schlafly for around $6. Overall a great selection, friendly employees and a convenient experience. I'm going to try to fit this Aldi in my grocery shopping routine. read more

Visited store for milk and cheese. I use Aldi for almost All my shopping at home. However coming to this location I found milk at $2.84 and eggs at $1.84 per dozen. Where I live in Louisville Kentucky eggs are $.48 a dozen and milk is $.78 a dozen. When checking out I asked the manager why the discrepancy in prices and was told that there is a law in Missouri that doesn't allow some items to be sold below retail price. If you're looking to buy multiple gallons of milk or multiple dozens of eggs her suggestion was to shop the all the stores in Illinois. Illinois does not have this law! Perhaps the prices for these items that I shopped for were comparable to other grocery stores in this area. I am not aware of the cost of living here in St. Louis. read more

This is the best Aldi around. The produce is always fresh. There brand of everything are really good. Prices are great very friendly workers and is always clean. Normally you don't have to wait long in line to check out. I would give it a 10 if possible. read more
