I prefer going to this Aldi supermarket. The ride is nice over there from my home, for one, but mostly because they keep the place well stocked. The produce including vegetables, fruit and berries is always fresh and there is a variety of choice. The prices on their canned goods are excellent. The dairy selection is fresh and well stocked. They've got this special kind of carbonated water there, sweetened and unsweetened. I like the unsweetened kind. I highly recommend it. It comes in a variety of flavors. The staff is well trained and work hard. They are polite and efficient. The aisles are left unblocked even when they are stocking and they are glad to help. Sometimes they have plants here as well - the prices are good and the quality is great.

Big storm last week knocked out power. Let the freezers actually work. I was not sure the frozen food was still frozen. Favorites I buy regularly: Canned soups Low priced chocolates Value wines Staples like eggs and milk Fresh meats on special like chicken and pot roast Frozen foods (frozen fruit pops are the best) Weekly specials - some food but household goods too. VMMV: Fresh fruits and vegetables Baked goods like bread and bagels Some specialty foods appear and disappear. The snack foods are Aldi's house brand but are very good. Come and enjoy! We'll let the jealous haters hate...

Produce is terrible!!!! Except for the organic bananas! I feel like if your a grocery store you at least have to have decent produce!

Poor customer service. Employees argued and were rude with paying customers. And it was very dirty last time in there.

Aisle after aisle I was double taking on item after item that I'm consistently over paying for at Meijer or Kroger or Holiday Market.

First off, we went on a Friday early evening the week the strawberries were ready for picking and it was PLENTIFUL. So many berries. My family and I all agreed that we would only be picking enough to eat at home and that's it. No jamming, canning, freezing, etc. Yet the berries were so perfect, so ripe and beautiful we somehow picked a full tray each, even in the 90 degree, 60% humidity heat. NO REGRET! It's still super easy to go here. Drive up, grab your tray, pick your berries, drive back and get them weighed (there's stall with mixes for baked goods, jams, and more plus bottled beverages if the heat is getting to you). I can't remember exactly but it shook out to be around 2.59 a pound I believe (but don't quote me on that) and I got $23 dollars worth. Now I have nearly 9lbs of strawberries in my fridge for snacking, baking, and more. But don't expect jam this year. I haven't the energy for that!

Our family takes a trip here every year, for the last 12 years. We love it! We pick sugar snap peas…read more& strawberries. Prices are reasonable and it's a full day of fun. Pack sandwiches & have a picnic after! Pro tip: check the website, their Facebook page, or call them every year to see how the crop is doing and when it will be ready for picking. If you wait too long you'll miss out because they get picked pretty quickly.

You will find your typically fruits and vegetables but they often have a tons of items that you may not be able to get from a Kroger like longans, lychee nut, rambutan, guanabana soursop, and more! My only concern is that it can be hard to maneuver through the aisles when it is very crowded, plus you have staff working as well so things can get pretty tight but it's well worth it for all that savings and great finds you get. I'm always shocked by how little my cost is when I leave the register. The environment may not be for everyone but I think it's 100% worth checking out at least once if you're in the area.

My daughter and I were having a good time shopping and picking out plants. Everything was great until it wasn't. When we got to the checkout we had a couple cut in front of us and I called them out to move to the back of the line to only be informed that these people have previously checked out and wanted to get something else quickly. The cashier didn't ask them to move to the back of the line of people waiting but continued to help them anyways. Which wasn't the worst part of my experience. My daughter was looking for yard decorations and wanted to show me something she thought was cool when a worker yelled across the room "HEY LITTLE GIRL DONT TOUCH THAT!!" Then continued to bend down and get close to my daughters face (who was already froze from being yelled at by some crazy old lady) and continued to tell her the item she was showing me was SO expensive and she would break it if she keeps messing with it. I told the lady she was fine meaning SHE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO TOUCH IT ANYMORE and she looked at me and said "NO ITS NOT FINE" and continued telling her the $30 item cannot be touched by children and wouldn't stop until I told the women I GOT IT!! My daughter is 5. She was in my 5 year olds face and is incredibly lucky I didn't get into hers. My first initial thought was to leave my entire cart and let the rude employee put away the flowers I was shopping for but I ended up buying it so I could just get out of there. She completely ruined our experience and day after that with her horrible attitude. She was brunette wearing a bandana or whatever it was around her forehead. She wasn't nice, she didn't ask nicely, she surely doesn't know how to talk to children or to be professional. So if you have kids and enjoy going to greenhouses with them DO NOT COME HERE. They don't know how to treat little kids. ALSO most of their plants are diseased (zinnias, etc.) so buy with caution if you do happen to go here
