Everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you're treated like a neighbor rather than just another customer. Marvin also does a lot for the community, which makes supporting this business feel even better. It's great to see a local owner giving back and building something positive for Canton. I told him I did not buy any bulghur, only masri rice and bulk chick peas listed at 0.49c/lb. The owner heard me and rushed over. The chick peas are not 49 cents he stated. "That was a sale and the sale ended yesterday." I said well if the sale ended, then remove the sign that says 49cents/lb. He answers "Ma Bady" meaning I don't want to. Instead of being worried that his cashier was charging me an additional $3 that he may be pocketing, he is arguing over a few cents in the cost of the chick peas. This owner needs a lesson in customer service.
