DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse is a good place to go if you need shoes. Any type for any age is pretty…read moremuch available here with their wide variety. I like how the store is brightly lit and it's laid out with wide aisles. You don't really run the risk of bumping into people like you do at some department stores. Parking is wide and open here, and even during the holidays, you'll likely find a spot. The value you get is worth it. If you're lucky, you can find good deals on shoes that are marked down, with an additional 20 to 60% off. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes, you'll get greeted when you walk in. Other times, you won't. On my last visit here, the line was 3 deep when I got into it, and a few more people came in behind me. There were enough employees, but only 2 were actively ringing up customers. That was kind of a bummer. I also noticed that after I paid, I was just handed my box with my receipt in it. The employee was nice and thanked me, but did not offer a bag for my purchase. Do they not have bags anymore?! Weird for a shoe store. Anyway, I walked out holding my box of shoes. I do wish they had a more lenient return policy as I purchased a pair of boots for inclement weather last year but missed the return date by a few days. It's a 90-day policy. Even though they were never worn (and still brand new), I was not allowed to return them. =/ Lesson learned. Hold on to your receipts and make sure you return the unworn shoes before your 90 days is up!

It is appealing to visit this location due to its location but if Maria there we already know is going to be and obnoxious up sell with some odd remarks about random people. We have come to learn this tactic since her first day a few years ago. We love RR bus this really makes every store visit a 7-8 stars. I'm not saying we deserve special treatment but it is nice not having to drive 2 hours to San Diego in order to get treated within certain amount of reason. Again the associate today was great she really knew her stuff, honesty every other employee there is great but the aforementioned since day one is a sales killer. It's really an eye roller as soon as we know she there. Sorry! I've waited a while to mention this knowing it's negative but telling the truth needs to be said at times for change. We were both blown away by BOTH of these ladies' extreme care and patience in explaining the differences in the particular shoes we were seeking. It was getting close to their closing time, and I thought we wouldve been rushed out, but it was the exact opposite! They listened to our needs and gently directed us to the right pair of shoes! They were experiencing some slight computer issues on this day which would have been very frustrating waiting there longer, however they again stayed professional and patient.
