I went into this store on a Sunday afternoon. The middle aged Latina lady was beyond rude! I was treating her very politely but her attitude was so unpleasant. She talked to me like she was upset even though was conscious of being kind to her. She got bothered when I asked her to remove a security device off a Birkenstock pair of shoes. Her demeanor was so disturbing. Her approach was not nice. At the end, I kindly thanked her for her time in helping me but she did respond and address me. The Latino gentleman was much kinder and nice. Regarding the shoe selection: This shoe place has an awful collection. Their major stock was Crocs, Sketchers and old style major brands like Nike and Adidas. This was the second time I visited this store and it will be my last. read more

I came here a couple of times for kid's shoes for both everyday wear and soccer cleats. Prices are reasonable with a fair selection. I do notice each time they are vigilant and monitor their customers closely. At least, that's the feeling I get and to be honest, I don't blame them. Unfortunately the world has an abundance of dishonest people. If paying by credit card, they check ID. Good for them! Not a lot of places do that anymore. I'm all for it. read more

I've been curious about this place since I see it every time I go to the gym and they advertise vans and Nike. The place is basically famous footwear with some nice brands, lower priced shoes. The sizes they offer are more stocked for the common sizes. The one thing that stood out is customer service is really lacking. And I don't ask for much from this type of place. They had 3 employees but only 1 (the taller girl) seemed to really want to help or recognize there were customers in the store. While leaving we were going out the wrong door one of them just said "wrong door" and just looked away. Well then we will kindly make our way out and not come back. They have left me no choice but to give them a review - I can't review their corporate business here as the local store keeps referring us to corporate to resolve a double charge on a pair of shoes - my son (16) goes to shoe city buys a pair of shoes and pays $65 come to find out that they charged him twice Besides the extremely rude over the phone service we received, when we discovered this two days later, we were finally able to return the shoes (defective pair mind you and I really doubt they are originals - looked fake) to the store and get a refund however store insisted that corporate will have to handle the double charge. Left several messages at corporate with no response at all - the same lady at corporate keeps answering and keeps sending us to someone's answering machine ...bad customer service at the local shoe city and even worst at corporate This is straight out theft - stay away from this store .... So I passed by hours earlier and saw the sale table out. I thought I'd come back. I walked in no greeting nothing I had to interrupt her to ask where the kids shows were. She shows me Nikes and Skechers and points to the wall oh and vans are over there. K look around grab a pair of vans that's I wasn't too excited about. Walk to the counter to pay she still isn't moving towards me. Mind you, nobody but me the store. I said there's nothing for kids from the sale table? We already closed the boxes and you can come not next week but in two weeks. I left the Vans on the counter. Her lack of enthusiasm and lack of salesmanship really killed this Sale. I know my $50+ won't make or break this store but if everyone feels the same and does the same you'll be out of business. This place is pretty cool... The pink Shoe City sign kinda throws you off but once you're inside they have all kinds of cool stuff. This store is a hit and miss. Sometimes I get good service and sometimes I don't. Today my family and I went in and Erika at the counter practically dropped our shoes on the table and shoved the boxes to us while we were paying right after she demanded our IDs which she yanked out of our hands to slap on the counter and pointed back and forth at both of them to read every letter of our names. And there it was on my statement twice. This place used to be my shoe store for years but this last trip when I asked to use the bathroom I was told it was okay ( like it had been in the past). Then I came out of the bathroom to another female sales person who ,thought it be a good idea to reprimand me for using the bathroom. I told here I asked for permission and was told yes. I came in today to get my 6 yrs old some shoes. I have 3 boys, so shoe buying comes more often than most. I counted a total of 4 employees and all seem busy stocking items. I understand that boxes need to be stocked at times but I was literally The only customer in the entire store. Not once did someone Offer assistance.
