Queen Anne's was exactly that for us. We had about 75 guests, and were comfortable, but cozy. Here are some words that come to mind when I think of the space: chic, vintage, intentional, beautiful, versatile and lovely. Amanda, the owner, was great from the start. Patient, kind and helpful. Her experience was evident throughout our entire planning process. She worked with us to up to the very end, easing our little anxieties and assisting us with whatever we needed. The staff at Queen Anne's was amazing! We were so pleased with the above and beyond service. A room flip was needed after the ceremony, for the reception. It was done in a timely, efficient fashion, and for that, we (and our guests), were so grateful. Food was exactly what we expected- and delicious. We opted for food stations, rather than a formal sit-down dinner. Appetizer platters, salad, sliders and pizza. Everything was fantastic. No complaints from us or our guests. We had a blast! The whispering pine staff was very friendly and on top of everything, they did an amazing job taking care of the wedding party and all of the guests. The food was some of the best I have ever eaten at a wedding; appetizers included grilled pizzas, scallop wrapped bacon, coconut shrimp, mini ribs, and a plethora of tasty cheeses and fruits. The dinner was buffet which included steaks, flounder stuffed with shrimp, lobster, and scallops, pasta, grilled vegetables, fresh breads, etc... Due to a Folk Festival in town and being a last minute booking, I accepted the fact I was probably paying double the amount of what one night would normally cost. The day of my check-in I get a text that the room I originally booked was not going to be available because that person staying there needed another night. So I was asked to switch my room which I agreed upon. Turns out I was downsized from a Superior King room to a Deluxe Queen room at no price difference. Upon check out I realized they did not credit me the adjustment of downsizing my room as a courtesy to them even though it was because of their accommodation to another guest which inconvenienced me. I was charged more than double for my stay as compared to the regular going rate. I could have chosen to decline the downgrade considering I do live fairly close but my family was in town and I wanted to support local businesses. Second, breakfast is scheduled and posted to be between 8-10am and upon arriving at 8am there was no hot breakfast prepared for guests. I was expecting maybe some bacon and eggs to say the least, especially with the cost to stay the night in a room I didn't even want. The only thing available was a continental breakfast-English muffins, croissants, muffins, toast, and a Keurig for coffee. I asked a few other guests in the dining area about it and they said I can ask the kitchen to make me something and they were there the previous breakfast which the kitchen made food when there were more people there to eat it. I ate my English muffin and maybe 10 min later watched another guest come down and had to ask the kitchen to prepare her something for breakfast! The home itself is nice and cozy. Location is great. I just didn't have the best personal experience and certainly not worth 600 bucks!

I found myself to be very nit-picky as our date grew closer and when I had an issue with my bridal bouquet on the morning of my wedding she dropped everything and fixed it right away. She was very organized and honest with my expectations and quotes, and respected our budget--even came up with alternative ideas (i.e., instead of a floral arch at the alter, she suggested taller stemmed plants and placed tea lights on them, which looked gorgeous and stayed within my price range). She is so sweet and definitely has an adaptable vision. I wanted baby's breath flower crowns for my flower girls but I was was worried that one of them, my 18-month-old flower girl, would rip out her flower crown--Franchesca instead made a baby's breath hair clip for her instead, which stayed the entire night! She was also very knowledgeable about my venue, the Providence Public Library, which helped me be a little bit more decisive when it came to which areas I wanted to decorate with fresh flowers (helped cut the cost for me)! All in all, she's great at what she does, her website/social media absolutely reflects what she can do, and she can tastefully add a touch of elegance to your special day!

We had 12 tables set up for guests, cake table with huge backdrop, plenty of space for food and drinks, and we had enough of space for a little mini bar where the adults can grab their beverages. The best part about this place was her packages include almost everything. I'm talking stereo system, lights, Marquee letters and numbers, tables and chairs, back door area to go out and smoke.... again the host is willing to go out of her way and help make your day special.
