Wow Nashville is a happening town! And on a Saturday Night or any night you have so many places to choose from for your meal. This place came recommended from a friend and it seemed exciting to go to the restaurant of a singer! It is right in the heart of the downtown bar area. We had a very large group of people on a Saturday night. We had a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations. They seated us upstairs all together sort of at a row of tables separate but all on a row which worked out ok. We were there to celebrate a 21st birthday. They did say Happy Birthday but nothing special beyond that was given or provided which was a little disappointing but I think everyone in Nashville is celebrating something so I get it. Service was very good. Chips with salsa and guacamole was provided upon seating for everyone. When requested more was provided. We had one person who was Gluten Free and they appeared to take care in explaining options as well as answering any questions people had. Drinks were refilled and kept flowing (alcoholic ones). And for a busy Saturday night meals came out in a good timing. Everyone enjoyed their meal although one person had bitten into something hot and did not like it and they were happy to replace the meal. The meal that I had was fantastic! The steak quesadilla. The steak was tender and extremely flavorful. Honestly I had been a bit hesitant to order steak due to being very picky over steak quality. But I was very happy with it! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and at the end of the meal the server actually was ok with splitting up the ticket even tho we were a very large group which many many establishments refuse to do so this made me very pleased! Oh they had a live band playing on the first floor which was nice. There is an elevator at the back of the restaurant which is nice for those unable or just not wanting to climb a flight of stairs . The flower wall with the Nashville name on it made such a great backdrop for photos! They had two unisex bathrooms on the first floor. I stumbled across Casa Rosa during my second trip to Nashville, and I'm so glad I did! As a huge Miranda Lambert fan, spotting her restaurant on Broadway felt like a kid walking into a candy store. The fact that Savannah's was right next door made it even more fun I stopped in on Taco Tuesday around lunchtime, and it was the perfect time to visit. There was a nice crowd, but it wasn't overly busy. I even picked up a Casa Rosa T-shirt as a souvenir after settling in at the bar. The highlight of my visit was Johnny, the bartender. I told him I wanted something sweet with tequila, and he created the perfect drink. I honestly don't know what he made, but it was so good I ordered a second one! We also discovered we're both from Chicago, which made for great conversation and made the experience feel even more welcoming. Johnny recommended the tacos, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. They were fresh and flavorful. Pair those tacos with two amazing tequila drinks, live music from a fantastic band, and my total bill came to under $50. If you're looking for a great lunch spot with good food, excellent drinks, live music, and outstanding service, Casa Rosa is definitely worth a stop. And if Johnny is behind the bar, you're in great hands. I can't wait to make it back to Nashville, and hopefully one day I'll get lucky enough to visit while Miranda Lambert is there! read more

Such a fun Nashville spot! My family had an amazing experience at Miranda Lambert's. The vibes were exactly what you'd expect: fun, welcoming, and full of personality. The service was fantastic, especially as someone who's not used to southern hospitality. My mom said the mushroom taco was the best taco she's ever had, and I have to agree that the food was impressive. I loved my steak tacos and my dad's cheese quesadilla was surprisingly not greasy at all. Maybe California just doesn't do Tex-Mex the right way because this definitely raised the bar. read more

We stopped here while visiting Broadway on a hot Monday afternoon. We were promptly seated and this place was freezing. I almost went back out in the 100 degree weather for a sweatshirt. Some of the best dang taco's I've ever had! They were very flavorful, juicy, and I feel like I could eat them every day hahaha! They came with a very spice sauce that I asked for on the side, which I'm glad I did because a little goes a longgg way on the spice train! Pricing was actually cheaper than I anticipated, so that was a plus! Service was wonderful and our server was very personable. I wish I caught his name so I could give him recognition, but I know that he was wearing a peridot necklace! He was super attentive and just did a great job all around. My friend and I came here on a Monday afternoon - no wait. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. This place is adorable. I love all the colors, and decor as well as all of the memorabilia. My friend started with the 'Strawberry Frozen Margarita' and I got the 'Pink Sunglasses' drink which came with small Barbie looking sunglasses as a garnishing. We shared the 'Chips and Salsas' which came with lime tortilla chips, smoked tomato salsa, and green tomatillo salsa. This was delicious. The salsas were so fresh and refreshing! I would come back just for this. I do not remember what entree my friend got, but she loved it. I got the 'Gringo' tacos which were spicy ground beef, lettuce, chipotle ranch, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese and hard shell tacos. This was really good. The only spot we stumbled upon on Broadway that had a space exclusively for dining. There was live music on the first floor and music on the floors above us, but it was nice to have a less sensory overwhelming environment to eat at. The food was amazing. I had the best birria tacos I've ever had- perfectly coated in cheese. My family also lovedddd the queso burger. Rice and beans are very good too. We loved the food so much we are here twice over our 4 day trip! This is also one of the places I felt most safe as an lgbtq person. It was the only place in the state I saw single-stall bathrooms labeled as gender neutral. The first floor and rooftop bathrooms were accessible as well. This was in my top 3 bars in my visit to Nashville. It's one of the few bars on Broadway that has Mex food and a huge selection of Tequilas. You can order tequila flights and pick 3 different ones too which is fun. Downstairs is live music, a bar, and a gift shop. Upstairs is a full service restaurant. First impression was a nice clean place. The first floor bar was nice and the bartender very quick to serve. So far so good! Then the price...$10 for a can of Coors beer? Margarita was only $10, but (not solely their fault) buy over $31 for the two drinks after taxes (3 different taxes totaling $5). So far I'd give them 4-5 starts, but now we moved upstairs to listen to the band playing. Good band that we only caught the tail end of their set. Before we realized what was happening, an employee grabbed one of our tables and took off with it. When I caught up to her and said we had a full table of people, she replied,"Those tables don't belong out there!" and she walked away and wouldn't acknowledge me. Another employee seemed a bit sheepish and explained they clear the tables for a dance floor. This left us with no tables as they took our other tables away. Based on the experience, I won't go back. There are way too many good choices along Broadway with great music, reasonable drink prices and friendlier staff. Casa Rosa missed the mark! read more

Casa Rosa is a mixed bag. A 1.5 hour wait is understandable for a popular spot, but the overpriced merch is not - $60 dollars for a sweater feels excessive, like we're at a concert, not a restaurant. The live music setup and the restaurant upstairs were nice touches, and the food itself was good. We had 2 orders of tacos (fajita and ground beef)they were good, excellent Blanco queso, and decent tamales, though $18 dollars for two ,plus $6 dollars each for rice and beans is ridiculous. The worst part was the salsa (5 dollars for each, red and green), which was horrendous. The churros were a solid, sweet ending. read more

Of all the bars we stopped at this was the worst. It was dead as it not busy inside. The band was good. We kept getting dripped on with water from some air conditioner at the bar. We get bill and they are $9.99 each and with tax $22 something. The bartender apologized and felt embarrassed charging us so much.
