This is in the lower level of the hotel Noelle, which is a historic building and one of downtown Nashville's first luxury hotels, dating back to the 1930s. The hotel is worth a visit itself if only to gawk at the restored grand lobby in its gilded art deco glory. The interior of Lona is also gorgeous and makes for a lofi sultry vibe, which is a nice change from the cacophony of nearby broadway and printers alley. Cuisine is Mexican with a modern flair. My nachos were excellent and very satisfying. The extra jalapeños were much appreciated. But for a boozy town like Nashville, I was very disappointed with my Spanish 75 cocktail. The agave and/or cava were overdone and the drink was just not blended well. However I've not yet given up hope and will be visiting the speakeasy soon, so stay tuned. Service was adequate for looking a bit understaffed.

Side of corn - I'd skip it next time

This establishment is top notch. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was Danielle D. She took great care of us. We came in late and she gave us some good advice on what to order. We started with the Queso Fundido and that was super yummy! Then we had the Baja Fish Tacos and the Chicken Enchiladas Divorciadas. Both were great. As a side we got the plantains and those were amazing! Everything was super tasty and the vibe was cool. The lights were dimmed and there were red candles on each table. Very fun and the music being played was energizing. Our amazing waitress told us about a hidden bar by the restrooms and we took a peek in there. They had live music and a speakeasy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. So much more good food to try!

This lovely restaurant is situated inside of the Noelle Hotel in Printers Alley. Very cutesy!! Awesome upbeat playlist! If you go on a Tuesday, they have a "Taco Tuesday" menu with various tacos and a few cocktails that you can select from outside of the regular menu. They also have HH Monday-Friday from 3-6. (At the bar only) I ordered the chopped salad and added adobo chicken. For an appetizer, we had guacamole and it was good but a little salty but my foodie friend thought it was fantastic! The Lona Margarita was a very nice classic margarita and packed a punch! Our service was excellent! I will definitely be back to try the fajitas!

Lona happy hour is a hidden gem downtown! Want a $7 strong marg and nachos with fresh guac for $8? Look no further than the bar at Lona. Happy hour seats are limited to only the bar but we went on a Saturday around 5:40 and still were able to snag a few seats. The bar staff were great and super attentive for how busy they were. I loved when someone asks how you like the cocktail they made..you can really feel the passion in their work! The food was super great and fresh. We went with the Baja fish, Tinga and steak tacos which were $6-$8 each roughly and the nachos with added protein around $20 but they were super large! Pro tip is to ask for their house made sauces which were amazingggg. The street corn side is something I'll be dreaming about. 10/10 recommend for the vibes and food

The ambiance was very nice and chill. Had no clue a DJ was playing in the background. It was lovely brunch vibes. I ordered something light, a guacamole with pork belly and my family ordered something light breakfast plates they all enjoyed their meals. Pro Tip: call ahead to know where to park because they will cover the first two hours.

You have to try this place! The food is SO good and the service is even better. Everyone is so friendly and has great suggestions for menu options. We went around 5pm and were able to try quite a few different options for happy hour and sit at the bar with no wait, perfect timing! Also, shout out to bartender Logan for being so wonderful and attentive!

Nice decor, server greeted up with a warm friendly greeting. Unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients for the cocktails we wanted. Unfortunately we didn't find that out until we received a drink that was missing the passion fruit and we asked about it. We ordered a salad and the skirt steak. The salad was good and the skirt steak was amazing. The squash advertised on the menu was substituted with jicama which again we were not informed of until we questioned it. We ordered the corn cake and the churros for dessert. Churros were ok but chocolate sauce tasted like Hershey's and the corn cake was not at all what we had hoped. Very off putting flavor and texture. The server while always pleasant and nice was not very attentive.

Micheal was our waiter and he definitely set the tone for our experience. There was live Spanish music and it was phenomenal! We ordered old fashioned's and they were amazing. The fresh guacamole was perfection. I ordered the carne asada tacos which were incredibly delicious! We will return! El Moreno de La Pachanga performed- amazing talent!

Came in after work with coworkers. It is in the lower level so you will need to go down the elevator which there isn't clear signage for the only thing I would call out. The food was amazing though. Had the guca and cheese with tortilla. I tried the shrimp tacos and they were very tasty! The margaritas are to die for! There is also a speak easy we didn't stay in there long just viewed it but it was good setup will return for sure.

    Lobster Quesadilla

Y'all. Everyone in my parity got sick after eating here. Very very sick. .I imagine it was the seafood as we shared every dish. The only good thing that we ate were the lobster quesadillas. The sauce on the enchiladas was just nasty, thick and lacked seasoning. The inside of the enchiladas also lacked seasoning. Overall, the food was a 2.5. The margarita was decent, coming in a a 3. The atmosphere and the illness afterwards is what brought the review down to a 1. It was chill yet it was evident that folks were there for a photo opportunity. An over-served patron at the bar didn't help the ambiance. She literally fell out of her barstool and had to be carried out. It gave broadway away from broadway in the midst of the terrible "modern Mexican" dishes. I don't think I'll be back to try again.

    Amazing tacos!

The management on 3/15/26 was nonexistent. Mot just our party but the whole restaurant felt abandoned.

We went in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet still, but the bar tenders were friendly and helpful. And although I'm not a huge tequila fan, I was impressed with my drink. Prices were reasonable for the drinks we ordered and this bar being located on Broadway. Definitely worth a visit.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
