Finally got to drop in on way back from the shore. We got lucky there was only five people ahead of us and ordered relatively fast in 10 minutes. It still took another 50 minutes to get the sandwiches. I'm not sure if someone dropped the ball. There's dozens of amazing sandwiches to order and they're stuffed to the guilds. That being said you get what you pay for. It's a great spot, def a must try if ever in the vicinity. Make sure you have a good hour to kill.

Taliercio is DEFINITELY worth all its hype. Worth waiting in line? Absolutely! They were cranking out delicious looking sandwiches by the minutes. I got the highly recommended signature cheesesteak was is one of the best I've ever ate. And I've tried some of the best and overrated places from Philly to nj to long island. Talierco's cheesesteak was head to head for best I've ever had with Sandwichitos in palisades park. The restaurant was full of Italian foods and drinks from sweets to home made meals. The kitchen was full of great workers. Always good to see a hard working owner in his business doing the magic himself. Lovely lady in the back checking out all the customers she was very nice. I highly highly recommend! Worth the drive worth the wait etc... definitely visit and like my post if you agree on how great this place is

    Chalky White

I had two more sandwiches on my return visit. I had the chalky white and ya sister's a$$. The chalky white consisted of a fried veal cutlet, hot capicola, smoked mozzarella, provolone, muffaletta, and balsamic glaze. This was obviously stuffed to capacity and very solid. I would have liked more balsamic glaze and muffaletta as that was a very nice balance with the meats and cheeses. The thin cut capicola was great and the bread was the key as it held up with everything. The ya sister's a$$ consisted of prosciutto, burrata, fig spread, roasted red peppers, red onion, arugula, and balsamic glaze. Obviously, this was stuffed and well done. It was a tad sweet with the amount of fig jam used, but the red onion and roasted peppers helped offset that a little bit. The burrata was very creamy and delicious.

I've been going to Taliercio's for years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place known for its BIG SANDWICHES and family atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Taliercio's has an endless amount of options from deli style sandwiches to the craziest most delicious things you can think of. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak and fried ravioli's. We waited a couple of minutes but It was totally worth it. This is the best sandwich I've had in a while.

Half Italian Hero with long hots

Talk about a sanga-weech, holy smokes. When I walked I knew it was good because the line was 20 deep. Excellent Italian Hero with enough meat and cheese for multiple subs. Quality, fresh ingredients and super friendly staff. It's an experience so check them out if you're ever close.

Ellis Island on seedless hero bread

I was nearby so went to Taliercio's recently to try something new there, the Ellis Island hero. It's a combination of their Italian & American heroes. I would have ordered online to avoid any possible wait to order but I didn't see the Ellis Island as an option. Fortunately, it was about 2:45 so I "only" waited 10 min for someone to take my order & prepare my beast. I would have left if it had one of their notorious large lines. :( The sandwich, as expected, was too big to eat as is without figuring out how to unlock my jaw. It weighed just short of 2.5 lb for a half hero. Once I got home, I deconstructed it so I could eat half of the half hero now & rest later. I didn't see any pricing anywhere but also didn't look too closely at all the menu boards. The 2.5 lb hero set me back $23.45 which appears to have saved 50 cents vs their 3rd party online ordering options. Still think the ordering process needs much improvement.

Best Cheese Steak ever, great service, and got to sample fried raviolis while waiting in line. The entire staff was welcoming. I'll be back next time I'm in Jersey.

    The Vinny Black

So I did it again. This time my daughter was home for spring break from FSU and we all went. Wifey, my son, daughter and me. They were first timers and very undecided about which sandwich to get. Well my son knew he wanted the Vinny Black. Always worth the wait, just over an hour and half. While we waited Chef Vinny came around and offered everyone waiting a nice fresh hot fried ravioli! Delicious! Everything is made to order fresh and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the dining area where other first timers sat and snapped pictures of their outrageous sandwiches and talk and laughed and ate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This space is great in the back of the deli/Italian gourmet store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone should indulge here one time in their life. You won't be disappointed.

Came here on a Sunday. There was a long line, waited about an hour. They gave out samples of their fried raviolis. I ordered the Vinny black which is a cheesesteak with a sheet on top and bottom of fried mozzarella for the bun. I also ordered the Moe mans ragu which has fried raviolis, sausage, meatballs, Braziole, marinara, fresh mozzarella, parmigiana reggiano all on prosciutto bread. The last one I got was the Ruvolo which has the ruv sauce, chicken cutlets prosciutto, fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella and balsamic reduction. Everything was so good but Moe man was right the Sunday ragu was the best. Btw these sandwiches are huge so now I have dinner for the next 3 days.

Wow whenever you want a sandwich. Don't think twice. Come here and u will never go to another place and get what you get from here. Endless menu of sandwiches. And if they don't have what you want you can get creative and make your own Sammie. I have tried a few. And all were very good and huge!!! They have the best seeded bread. So light and crispy. You can definitely split a sandwich and be satisfied. Ranging from $17-$25 depending on what you get in the sandwich. And they don't skimp out when the construct the masterpiece of a sandwich. The lines can definitely overwhelm you if it's crowded. So plan accordingly lol. Plenty of parking. The place also has a variety of Italian delicacies. The workers are awesome you can tell they love and enjoy what they do. A must stop anytime u want a delicious sandwich.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a wonderful place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think that Eric running the ship is amazing. They are all wonderful people. The food is amazing ! The sandwiches and foods are all fresh and Made to order. I loved the Skattaboo Thang! Best one hands down. And the fried Ravs! Wow ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just love everything about this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only little thing is that since it's so popular, the lines are a bit long. But well worth the wait. Excellent!

The Genovese Hero sub eggplant for chicken cutlet

was very excited to try it out! The line was long, but that was to be expected in part... however it took over an hour to get two sandwiches and ravioli. Ravioli was immaculate, and my husband really enjoyed his sandwich. However, mine had basically no smoked mozzarella on it, which was very disappointing to realize after we had left. not cheap either!

Yeah Chef! Thanks for being so kind and friendly.
