Super close to home but I never knew it existed. We ordered an upside down pie, a zucchini/artichoke/olive pie and 6 wings. Everything is quite pricey. The wings are $9 for 6 and so salty. But fried well. The pies were both so hard and chewy and dense. Everyone got quite a jaw workout. The upside down pie was super salty and the cheese was congealed. The redeeming pie was the vegetable one, which was supported by the hard crust, otherwise the plethora of vegetables would have gotten the pie soggy. Decided to try a new place closer to home. I often visit the ups store next door to it but missed to see this place everytime. Bought two pizzas from here and buffalo wings. One was a square pizza a lá Brooklyn square and the other was the ortolana pizza which is an all veggie topping pizza. Neither was good. It was bad, and I mean bad. Frozen pizza had better taste and The wings were salty. I am not trying to be mean or rude but for the price this was not good quality at all. We were incredibly disappointed by our order. For almost $30, the food was not worth. The pizza was so dry that we barely ate some of it and the wings and pizza were so salty that it didn't taste good. The chicken was so cardboard it felt 2 weeks old, on the overly dried out slices. I think a 1 star review is a little harsh. Maybe I was in a bad mood the first time I tried it. This is more of a 3 star spot because everything is overwhelmingly salty. The grandma slice has good flavor and the crust is good but it is so darn salty. The pasta fagioli is salty too and not my favorite. They need to sort that out because it is difficult to reorder when it tastes like that. It is not a 1 star spot but they have to button that up. Good value for the price though. Another one of the infinite pizza joints in NJ. I opted for the Chicken Parmigiana entree. It came with a salad that was oddly warm...obviously not refrigerated for hours. The meal itself was decent but I found the tomato sauce to be a little sweet (just a personal preference to have it not so much). I have eaten here a few times, maybe 4 or so, the dining area on the other side of the partition is nice and a bit quieter then the front area. Pizza by the slice is pretty good and reasonable if you don't want a full pie, or if you are like our family, everybody likes somethingggggg different and you can't agree unless it's just pepperoni or cheese, which is okay, but it get old. Personally, I like pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic, spinach and anchovies with extra sauce... to most this would be gross, but I like what I like and I don't have to share. However, if you buy a whole pizza, they have lots to choose from. I also prefer the crust a little more well done and asking them to do this, isn't a big deal. Service is fast, the staff is nice and I see a lot of families and locals who go there. Would not be my first or second pick, however it is close to my moms work making it an easy place for her to go to for dinner and she loves the pizza rolls along with my whole family. My wrap that I ordered (grilled chicken caprese wrap) was mostly grilled meat and a-little tomatoes and mozzarella. I would have like a lot more tomorrow and mozzarella then what was given, but of course that just preference and it did not deter me from finishing my meal. All the wraps and sandwiches come with a bag of lays chips which I though was a great feature to my meal. I definitely like the idea of chips over fries. Would I recommend this place to others?
