I wait months to get an appointment, plan my schedule around it, and then end up having it canceled at the last minute. Once is understandable--things happen. But having this happen three times in a row, every single time I've booked, is unacceptable. At this point, it's not an isolated inconvenience; it's a pattern that shows a complete lack of respect for clients' time. I've given this salon multiple chances, but I will not be returning. I arrived with an absolute emergency of a mess, a cut off all your hair, how did I get here, MESS. Major chemical/product damage, it was not viable. I was fully resigned to a short bob for a complete restart, but she was able to use her skill to come up with what she called a "custom haircut" and that's exactly what it was. Where the texture was once straw/sandpaper, is now silk. I cannot recommend Susan enough! EYE BROW WAX REVIEW ONLY…read more I hate giving bad reviews but the waxing service was really poor. I paid $20 ($25 w/ tip) to have my eyebrows waxed not so great. Ehhh.. not so much. A Head of Time Hair Design is more expensive than the average hair salon. For $20 I can get an eyebrow wax at the Bay Club's spa by an esthetician on a proper table, in proper light. I got home and had to pull out the tweezer to get a bunch of strays she missed. The lighting was bad and it can't help she did it in a salon hair cutting chair. There are plenty of places in Marin to get a better eyebrow wax for $12.
