I got a quote of $50 from another shop and when I brought it in to Bloomfield Auto Body, they immediately replaced the bulb, refastened my front bumper in a temporary fix until I could afford to get it properly fixed and then refused to charge me. This was human kindness and compassion to the nth degree.. and in a business context yet when those qualities seem to be lacking on a purely human level. The front cup holder was left with full of change (assuming for tolls) as well as an open water jug in the back seat. The back seats came back dirty as well as the cup holders in the rear center. Car is brand new and was used at their leisure during the holidays. Will not recommend or go back here. They seemed nice but using the car for 100 miles was unnecessary especially if the repair was only for body work.

More fun bits: - body shop called to say the work was done and car was ready to pick up - my Dad had to take a hour and a half train ride to get it only to find out they were still waiting on another part to finish the job...having to take a $50 Uber ride home after... - the "new" door has a worn down handle that is still leaving black residue on my hands, has obvious wheezing air leakage, and malfunctions electronically... Even after moving away, we would often make the trip back just to have them inspect our car because we knew they would give us honest advice. A while back, a chain oil change shop told us we needed new brake pads. We came here for a second opinion, and they explained that the rust we were seeing was normal and would wear off with regular local driving. They were right. A year later, another shop again tried to sell us brake pads during an oil change. We immediately brought the car here, and after a thorough inspection, they told us the brakes still had about 2,000 miles left. That level of honesty is rare.
