After following an accident I was sent here by my insurance company. The technician called me the next business day and was very polite as were they when I went in. On the outside not looking like much, the interior is welcoming with refreshments available while you wait. The technician walked me around my car and told me the approximate time it would take as well as what they'd be doing. It was a relatively small job I appreciate the thoroughness about the job. A couple days later the technician called me alerting me my car was ready. They did a great job and the best part is they washed my car, inside and out! I'm not sure that is what they normally do but it's a great gesture and boy did my car need it. If you're in need of a body shop and/or you insurance deals with them, I'd recommend. read more

My car went in for a fender bender, back on November. Took them over a month to acquire all used and partially damaged parts, to fix my vehicle. I was receiving text notifications from an automated system; they have set up. The text notifications, don't coincide with the actual work that's being performed on your car. I called to check on my car, around the expected completion date. They claimed they ordered the wrong bumper and had to reorder the parts; when they had my car over a MONTH at this point. Then, they stretch the repair completion out for another 5 days and the repair was still done partially. I didn't have emblem on my trunk and they gave me a defective left tail lamp. They swapped the left tail lamp, but was unable to place it flush to my vehicle, like the right tail lamp is already. The tech who worked on my car (for the 2ND TIME), claimed he is unable to center things well; making him incompetent to work on cars to begin with. The emblem they placed on my car, is off-centered; as well. He said I can come back for a 3RD TIME to have them readjust my left tail lamp. But at this point, I don't want to have anything to do with their business or establishment. I would give them 0 STARS, if that possible! Very SLOPPY and CARELESS work being done, at this shop. Background: I took my Mercedes CLS550 there to get front end damage repaired. The grill, bumper and interior supports were wrecked. I'm very particular about my car so it was important that I took it to a place I was comfortable. Shop: Ironically my first job out of high school was working at an auto body shop so I knew what a good shop should look like. I asked the owner / manager if I could walk the shop floor. He had no problem agreeing. We walked the floor and it had all the proper equipment to do A1 repairs. Also the shop was very clean. Dirt is the enemy of a good paint job. He also took me back to show the paints he used. All quality material. Service/Price I was paying for the repairs out of pocket, so cost was key. I found the price very reasonable compared to other estimates. The shop was very accommodating with each interaction. Service was great. Quality When the car was complete three days later It looked brand new. Paint job looked to be flawless. Overall great experience and would definitely use them again. read more

Having had a bad experience with another body shop several years ago, I was eager to try another one and am I glad I did! Glenn and his staff were amazing! I was in a car accident a few weeks ago. A car just rear ended me and I ended up going through the other person's insurance. I was recommended to go to Joe's Auto Body in East Orange by their insurance company, as it was very close to where I live. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Glen and his staff, from Joe's Auto Body. Everyone was so nice and very welcoming. As soon as I dropped off my car, they had a person from enterprise pick me up. My car was in the shop for a total of two days. Every day I would receive an email with a picture of my car and what they were doing at that time. I thought this was so beneficial. My car was a mess, I dropped it off the morning I got back from New Hampshire, I was rather embarrassed about how messy it was. I was shocked the day I picked it up from Joe's. It had been completely detailed and cleaned. It must have taken them a good couple of hours to just clean and wash everything. I recommend Joe's Auto Body to everyone!! I've been coming to this shop for almost a year after we moved to the neighborhood. The shop owner Zach and the mechanics are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, trustworthy and their work speaks for themselves. Zach went as far as lending me one of his personal cars to drive because a part I needed didn't come in on time (not his fault at all). It was winter and my kids had to get to school and I had to work. He didn't charge us anything for it either. I don't know if any other mechanic would have done , but that shows a person's genuine character which is a positive for me. All of the labor and parts are itemized on the work order and he gives you a copy of the order form / receipts for any parts that were ordered. When I got into a car accident and my insurance company was giving me a problem he asked to speak to the representative and spoke on my behalf. Once again he went above and beyond to make sure his customers are taken care of. As a woman, many would try to take advantage of us , but I can tell you my husband and I are grateful we found this shop and don't plan on leaving, ever. read more

My brand new sonata was hit by a garbage truck while parked, I took it to joes auto body and they did a great job with the repair. I remember upon leaving Glen the person helping me who is outstanding at what he does said to me " You've got a lifetime warranty on this job". About a year later I noticed a slight fade in the color of where they had painted which was the driver's side door and front panel, I called Glen up and asked if I could bring it in.....Not only did they repaint the entire panel and door for me, but they detailed the entire car inside and out at no charge......
