Jokingly I said dont mess it up.. I said it because i felt comfortable enough to joke. The guy was chatting it up with me. Now to my hair.. like 10 inches were cut off. And my hair looks fucking ridiculous. I felt so stupid in the chair that i wanted to just leave. I hated it right there. I know the quality of this place and I expected it to be 1,000 better. It's not clean and I have so many uneven pieces of hair. So many! It doesnt look too much like the picture I showed him and now I got some pieces way longer than others and a fucking patch of some hair. I'm going to research a good place to cut women's hair and just go there. Sorry to give a bad review but I think this place is just better off cutting men hair and not women. They clearly put a lot of attention into the design of the interior. Almost everything is custom made from the counter tops to the shelves on the wall. The barbers are talented and friendly. I've never had a bad cut or a bad experience in general and I've been over a dozen times. They know when to talk and when not to talk. There are only a few seats so you'll need to reserve online a few days in advance. Walk-ins are accepted but chances are there will be a wait. So you're better off just booking online for a guaranteed spot. The products they use and sell are uncommon for the US. They're mostly from Italy. Light scents. Nothing too overwhelming. Everything about this place is incredibly well thought out.

Being a bit leery of these type of places, I would rather pay a little more and be happy with what I got instead of paying less for a mediocre cut. I found this place on yelp. It was walking distance from the house. They operate by appointment only. I was asked to come back in an few hours. I did not catch the barbers name, but he did an excellent job. I also had my newly grown mustache and soul patch trimmed to perfection. My wife wanted it gone before I had it fixed up here. Total charge was $40. Well worth all the skill and effort that went into this experience. Hope to go back next time I'm in New York.

On top of a good cut, if your watch needs any type of repair, he'll handle that too. His pricing is still better than most of competition that nickel and dimes you for styling fades and top cuts.
