Huey and his crew worked very hard around some major bureaucratic stumbling blocks to get this job done, permits for structural work. The quality of work was extremely good, the workers worked hard, the project stayed on budget and an addition to the contract was made part way through. He was able to ensure we were happy every step of the way. Renovations can be very stressful. We moved out of the house because so much was being done. We had two walls removed and two new rooms built as well as one window removed and two put in its place. The whole kitchen was torn out and replaced with fantastic cupboards and quartz counter tops. We installed a two piece bathroom, all new lighting, fans, and all new wood-like tile flooring including carpeting in the bedrooms. All was done to perfection and what wasn't to spec was immediately replaced when the newly ordered part/piece arrived. These folks went up of their way to make this work for us. Insurance was not particularly generous, so we kept our cabinets and doors, TJC built a new sink and dishwasher area, had a new marble countertop installed, and finished some very difficult staining with clear aged glaze. The sink, countertop, cabinet painting plus some smoke remediation were done within budget and in the time allocated. I was very happy with the work as I am detail-oriented. While some imperfections that originated from the home builder surfaced, the solution was to adapt and modify, not start over from scratch. I appreciate the engineering and project management that goes into a remodel like this, TJC is very experienced.

The final construction ended up being good quality only because I was on top of everything from start to finish. I would highly recommend NOT using this contractor. You can do better.
