I have trusted & enjoyed Fender Mender's bodywork service on my cars for over 22 years.... With Tom the owner & Vic managing & working there. It's a good feeling to flow with their service & pricing & not have a second thought about the positive outcome each time. I got my Honda back yesterday & their expertise was exceptional. I had a great experience with Fender Mender Body Shop after my rear-end collision. From start to finish, the team was conscientious, professional, and efficient. They completed the work quickly without sacrificing quality, which I truly appreciated. My interaction with Vic was especially positive. He handled securing the parts and kept everything moving along smoothly. He was amiable, trustworthy, and easy to work with--exactly the kind of person you want guiding you through a repair process. I was completely satisfied with the experience and would not hesitate to bring my car back here again. I highly recommend Fender Mender Body Shop to friends and family. read more

Great experience--more than once-Vic is honest, truthful and will give you the best deal and personal service around Ventura

I reached out to Fender Menders after reading some positive reviews here on Yelp. I met with Vic to whom I explained that my brother had borrowed my car and had hit a pole damaging my front right fender. Later before getting the car in to be repaired I hit a coyote while driving out to Ojai. Vic assessed the damage and gave me a very fair price for fixing the damage. He knew I was paying out of pocket and he worked with me to fix which was fixable, whereas the other repair shops that I went to just wanted to order everything new, costing quite a bit more. I just received the car back and could not be happier. The work is quality, the price was fair, and the car looks like new again. Thanks Vic for such a great job! read more

Front bumper on sons car was loose. Not related to accident. Called Fender Mender based on their name. Answered phone quickly, offered quick next day appointment, finished job on time reattaching bumper bracket for very reasonable price. Total 2-3 days from call to pickup. So cool. Also, I had asked for estimate to repair a rust spot. They declined to do the work because it would cost too much and take much time. Appreciated the honesty. read more

I needed some work done on my Lexus and Vic was SO helpful from beginning to end. He got me right in to give me an estimate quickly, scheduled and did the work, did a great job and even worked to save me some money where he could. I highly recommend Fender Mender read more

Vic was great! I put a football size dent in a truck rental and the company gave me the option of getting it fixed myself. Fender Mender was close to the rental office, so I gave it a shot before surrendering to the company's claims department. Vic dropped what he was doing and dedicated the next hour or so to removing the dent and polishing the finish. He turned it around so quickly and so well that the rental company neither charged me for the dent, or a second day's rental. I was in a spot and he could have taken advantage of that in pricing, but he didn't. Honest, professional, and great work. read more

Recently, I was driving my 2009 Nissan Versa on the freeway when a mattress flew out of a pickup truck and smashed into my car. It shattered my right front headlight assembly, and crushed the right front fender. It was a surprising amount of damage. Of course, the truck drove off. A friend recommended Fender Mender. He had several occasions to use them and said they did really good work. I called and spoke to Vic, who explained the whole process in terms of insurance, estimates, claims etc. He was really patient and answered all my questions. I brought my car in to Vic and he started his evaluation. He walked me through the damage and shared what we could expect in terms of cost. Since this business wasn't on my insurance company's list, I had to use a link to send the adjuster photos of the car so that they could work up an estimate. Vic guided me through all the steps, and I was finished in no time. He worked with my insurance company, modified their estimate slightly for hidden damage, and they came to an agreement.  During the time my car was in their shop, I would receive updates from Vic about the progress and details. When my Versa was ready I was absolutely thrilled. I couldn't believe it! They were able to match the paint on a 14 year old car perfectly. I honestly cannot see a difference between the fender and the passenger door. The car was washed and cleaned, and looked amazing. My whole experience with Fender Mender was just wonderful. Vic is such a nice guy, and really knows what he's doing. He made the process as painless as it could be. Thanks to everyone at Fender Mender who made my little Versa as good as new! read more

I was referred to Fender Mender by my trusted auto mechanic and I was so happy with the work! I had devastated my bumper cover backing into my driveway and my son recently took a trim piece off on the side pulling out (we have an obnoxiously narrow driveway). Vic made some great money saving recommendations, took his time on the paint samples to find the perfect match, and made my car look like nothing every happened! Thank you fender mender!! Unfortunately, I'll probably be back read more

Fender Mender Body Shop - Fender was screwed up. Great fix - Body Shops Near Me - Ventura, California

So I backed into a rock at the Krishnamurti Library, seeking enlightenment. This is a car I am responsible for, but do not own. The owner is coming back soon! I need a fast fix that would more than pass inspection. The car was dented there initially, but I had put the hole in it. I went to Fender Mender because it was close, I had a fender to mend, and the guy on the phone was helpful and above all, hopeful that this was an easy fix and wouldn't cost a lot. This proved to be an ideal choice, and in just 3 hours, I had a bumper on an old Prius that looked like new! Vic warned me that for my price, I was not getting absolute perfection, but I am sure that the owner will be over the moon about his new bumper. I am happy to enlighten Ventura about Fender Mender - they do a great job! read more

My wife suffered a severe shopping cart dent and scratches just behind her rear door on her new Lexus RX350. It was going to be a lot more than I expected, but not enough to make an insurance Claim. Victor was understanding and the perfect gentleman. I got two other estimates, but Victor's was the most complete and comprehensive and less money once I told him I would pay him directly with no insurance involvement. He had her car 3-1/2 days and did a perfect job. He explained that he had to do more work than expected because the dent was also in the door well and had to take more thing apart but was not going to charge any extra. How often do you hear that! I highly recommend this shop where you get personal attention, with none of the BS.. Ken B Oxnard Shores read more

Someone banged into my car in a parking lot and left dents, scrapes, scratches, and black paint behind--but no note. I took my car for an estimate to an auto body shop recommended by my insurance company and just got a strange vibe--although superficially polite, the manager didn't really engage and sort of shrugged off my questions. Their estimate seemed oddly low--$13.84 less than my deductible. A second estimate from another shop came out to almost three times as much. Vic at Fender Mender was the charm of the third try. His estimate landed between those two extremes; Vic walked through the costs with me and handled the conversations with the insurance company; Fender Mender made the repairs quickly. When I picked up my car, not only had it been washed and the interior vacuumed and cleaned, but Vic had buffed other little scratches and marks, so my car looked even better than it had before the parking lot mishap. It's always restoring to your spirit to find a local business run by someone you can trust to do a great job. I'm thrilled with how everything worked out and especially with how my car looks now. read more

I worked primarily with Vic to get my mom's car repaired. There was lots of damage on all sides of the car from scrapes and minor impacts over the years. They were super nice, helped with the insurance, offered several options for repairs, and even delivered my mom's car to her home because she was unable to pick it up. She is very happy with the work. Highly recommended. read more

Took my 2016 Leaf in for some fender repair prior to returning the glorified golf cart. These guys were awesome, $300 less than Tip Top and with a much better attitude. If i ever need body work again, this is where I'll be headed read more

This is the only car mechanic I've been to where the estimate kept getting cheaper and cheaper. Tom first told me it would be $2,500 for a super perfect-insurance billed job. But then it would be $1,500 if it was out of my pocket, which included a new truck lid. When I dropped the car off they said they could just bang out the old lid if I wasn't aiming for perfection and that would cost $1,000. When they were done it took them less time than estimated and they got the replacement lights cheaper. So my bill was $800. Then I got a Cash discount-final bill $784. These guys are super knowledgeable, clean and efficient. Thank you Tom, Mike and Vic ! (they even gave it a good wax job). read more

I HIGHLY recommend Fender Mender. Vic was super friendly and professional. I had previously taken my Prius to another shop and they had quoted something outrages. I then went to Fender Mender and they were able to provide a fair estimate immediately and they worked with the insurance company throughout the whole process. There was constant communication between the shop and I. They were honest and upfront about the needs for my car. The job was done under a week so I wasn't without my car for too long. The body work was A++!! They did an amazing job, the car looked better than ever! read more

Great service and work from Vic. Highly recommended. Professional, courteous, skilled, and reasonably priced.

Fender Mender is the best!!!!! They were recommended to me by someone in a car club that restores a lot of cars- so not just a one time job. Extremely friendly and easy to work with. They know their stuff!!!! Did an awesome job after my truck was hit. My only accident in 38 years driving and it was very traumatic. Made me love my truck again after i saw it fixed. Very nice, honest, highly skilled people, who can be trusted to take care of you - impeccable work, reasonable prices, great communication. Best service, best prices!!! You feel the owner actually cares about you as the customer and he will give you an honest estimate without suggesting anything you don't need. My Car was sideswiped as I was driving, both doors on the passenger side of my Rogue were smashed in. I looked up body shops on the web and found Fender Menders. I read all the reviews people were leaving and I decided to go with them to fix my Rogue. I am so glad I choose this company. They were so nice and welcoming. They told me exactly what needs to be done to fix my Rogue, the insurance adjuster came and talked with Fender Menders, and I was dropping my Rogue off the next morning. Fender Menders had my car for 7 days and did a FANTASTIC JOB. I am so happy with the job they did on my Rogue, she looks better than the day I bought her. These guys know what they are doing and they must love their job cause they are great at it. Thank you so much Fender Mender, I hope I never need a body shop again but if I do you will be my first call. And I will tell anyone looking for a great body shop to call Fender Mender. After being rear ended in my new Challenger Scat Pack by a female not paying attention while on her cellphone, I was livid beyond belief. My insurance company recommended Camarillo Collision for repair work. A family member emphatically told me to go see Victor at Fender Mender. I can say nothing negative about my experience here. Extremely professional and is always available for ANY concerns I had. Your vehicle will be taken care of, and Victor is a fantastic human being. He cares about your experience with him and your happiness and satisfaction is his top priority. He came to my work to address concerns I had in person as I was unable to get to him. He worked diligently with my insurance and took the brunt of this experience away from me. Also... victor and this shop do not work for insurance companies and ended up cutting me s check for a portion of the insurance money as he finished under budget without sacrificing quality repair work. Thank you Victor as I have spread the word about your shop and your professionalism. Thank you once again for making a shifty incident a lot less shitty. read more
