I am a person who hated going to the dentist. I heard from others about Al Corondoni, so I thought I would give the office a try. I had broke a tooth up in Washington State and it needed attention. I went to the office and was greeted with kindness and respect. There was a very small wait and I was taken back. I had to get numbed up first. I never felt the needle go in our the numbing medication. What a wonderful surprise. I had to have a crown and it was made right there on the spot. The ladies are so kind and gentle. I have to say I look forward to my next visit. I will not go to anyone else as I felt so comfortable and well taken care of. If you have not gone for awhile, no one in the office lectures you, they are there to help, put out fires, as they say. What a relief to be able to go into an office, not have to wait, and feel great when you leave. I highly recommend Dr. Corondoni, what a gentle and caring office. read more

Alex has cared for my dental needs for YEARS. Always gentler than any other dentist I've been to, it still wasn't my favorite kind of appointment to keep, them he went high tech with laser equipment. No injections, no numb face, no burning hair smell from the drill, no sore jaw from having my mouth cranked open for too long. Now, I walked in, had him put weird green eye protection on me, then did what I thought was a thorough exam of the area where my cavity was. I felt his fingers, some air puffs, some cool water, but only a little and in under 10 minutes, he told me he was done, and had done a little cosmetic dentistry to even up the edges of my teeth. WHAT?!? "So you didn't have to do a filling?" "Oh, no, I did the filling and did two other pinhole sized cavities as well. I just thought you'd like to have your biting edges fixed up, too." Dr. Corondoni is without a doubt the best dentist in San Diego. If you're reading this considering whether or not to join or shopping around for a dentist, you'd be nuts not to go here. I had a dentist in north county for years, but moved down to San Diego recently. I had two dentists give me different advice on a treatment plan. Dr. Corondoni was my third opinion. He gave me a few options that focused on my best interests and ended up costing much less than the other two practices. He doesn't push for treatments you don't need. I had absolutely no pain doing a filling and crown from start to finish. His staff are super nice, helpful, understanding and he uses the most up to date equipment. Pain free filling! Dr. Corondoni and his team are simply the best- I have bounced around to 4 dentists before finding Dr. Corondoni and he is very honest, gentle, and trustworthy. Most of the work I needed was correcting botched jobs I had in the past! But back to the pain free filling- Dr. Corondoni now has the new laser machine at his practice, my cavity required NO numbing and NO drilling- it was totally awesome. In and out in under and hour, no numb face, I could go back to work like no procedure was done. If you're weary about dental work, you've got to try this new technology, it's amazing! I have just seen Dr. Corondoni for the first time in his San Diego office. From setting up my appointment to clearly providing me a treatment plan, the office staff was very friendly and proficient. My cleaning went as well as I could expect, with Amanda delicately, yet competently, working around my dental issues. And I absolutely loved Dr. Corondoni! (Yes, pretty strong language!!) Dental visits can be horrific, at least for me, and I need to feel comfortable in the chair. The doctor provided that ease. He's personable, cheerful and interested. Watch out for this dentist. Charged us $270 for X-ray and cleaning but now wants another $100 to meet with the actual dentist to read the X-ray and prescribe treatment. Now that's a rip-off. Don't go here, we certainly will never go back again. read more

HORRIBLE! I had Dr. Corondoni redo two crowns and within 4 months, both had cracked. He would not guarantee either of them. I switched dentist and the new dentist couldn't believe that he didn't guarantee his work. He thinks VERY highly of himself. I'm glad someone does! read more

Dr. Corondoni is the best dentist I have ever had, hands down. He doesn't try to sell you on unnecessary dental work, he just lets you know what needs to be done, and gives his best advice on how to proceed. His staff and himself, are friendly and professional. He's even there for you in an emergency, like for me this 4th of July. He got me in to fix a broken tooth on a major holiday, I felt so bummed that I had to drag him, but very appreciative. read more

Great experience. The receptionist was courteous, found me an appointment that same week, and took all my info over the phone. When I arrived, the paperwork was simple and check-in was quick. They saw me on time and took an hour doing x-rays, cleaning and polishing, measuring gum recession and tooth density, etc. The hygienist was friendly and fun to talk with, and the doctor was knowledgeable and efficient with my time. My sister went here and I had an appointment scheduled as well, but we will both never be back. Hygienist was rude, short with her, and didn't give any sort of heads up about what services/xrays/exams she was doing - just did them! She had to retake several X-rays because she couldn't get them positioned correctly. Turned out some of the services were not covered under her insurance, even though they said it would be 100% covered. When the Dr. came in, he didn't even introduce himself before starting to work on the computer in the exam room. Overall, maybe it was just a bad day, but it was not a professional experience. read more

I had been a patient of the Dr's for many years and just recently wanted to go in for a basic cleaning and checkup. Since I had been gone for 1.5 years, the fees increased to "new patient" status, over $200! That defined for me the type of practice and desire to retain patients for this office. I just recently started going to Dr. Corondoni, after going with a dentist in Chula Vista for about 20 years. I'm so glad that I found Dr. Corondoni I'm just sadden that I did not find him before. Both his staff and the doctor are very professional. His staff is knowledgeable, efficiently, willing and able to process my insurance claims, for this reason my out of packet expense was zero. Dr.C is good caring dentist but the billing can be faulty. I received a bill on Christmas Eve from work that was done on June 11. I knew something was wrong cause I had the credit card proof of purchase showing the bill was paid in full that same day. Kimberly threatened to take me to small claims court even though I told her I had proof of purchase. She would not believe me. I didn't feel comfortable and also don't have the time to send my personal bank records for a mistake Corondoni's staff made. She would not make the effort to look for the payment or believe me. I left work to show her the payment was made in full on time. I asked why it took 7 months to get a bill that I already paid and she said the computer is slow. I am curious how many patients have been double charged due to the incompetent staff and faulty computer system. I will not being going back to dr.c due to rude staff and bill confusion. Also the deal is if you go more often the better of price he will give. So if your new be prepared for a bigger bill than the regulars. read more
