Root canal was also performed and the dentist did everything they could to save the tooth to avoid extraction and thanks to her effort and perseverance I have a crown in that area. Second crown took 3 tries to put in but this was due to the labs making the crown incorrectly. On the third attempt the dentist went above and beyond to shape the surrounding areas as well as the crown itself to be able to fit it. It was seated flawlessly. The level of individual care that the dentist gives is next level and genuinely makes me feel like they want what's best for the patient.

After checking the tooth out, they said we needed a root canal but it'll take 5 weeks for medi-cal to approve it. They made a follow up appointment as well. The best thing about this visit was they recommended a teeth cleaning the same day when the pain level was 8. We told them we're in pain and they said they'll use soft instruments and be very gentle. They also wanted to ask us if we would like braces as well. Very great chain! Love the upsell. When your pain level is an 8, you really need teeth cleaning and braces.

I had lost several front teeth and needed implants, and Dr. Wachtel handled the whole process with such warmth and compassion that it made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She clearly cared about getting the outcome right -- not just functionally, but in a way that restored my confidence. Dr. Wachtel has since moved on, and the staff from my time there has likely turned over completely -- but what impressed me recently is that the current team was just as wonderful. When I reached out years later needing help obtaining my old records for an ongoing medical case, they were responsive, helpful, and went out of their way to assist me without hesitation. That kind of continuity of care and genuine helpfulness -- even for a patient from years ago with a completely different team -- says a lot about the culture this practice has maintained. She is the only hygienist I trust my mouth to because she is gental and very thorough in her work making sure that everything is squeaky clean. They aren't the cheapest dentist in town but they definitely are the best!

His staff is extremely friendly and I always feel welcome at his office. It is difficult at times to get an appointment with the hygienist, but if they are busy, then it means they're doing something right! My teeth have never felt as clean since I've been coming here. I've seen Cathy and Wendy and they do a great job! I have gotten talked to a couple of times about my gums and the importance of using my electric toothbrush and flossing. Dr. Cavallaro and I have talked at length about the vacations he takes with his wife and the stories about their grandkids. He definitely makes me feel like a part of his family. Anyway, I was visiting another part of the country when I had an emergency. The other dentist looked in my mouth and told me that all my fillings and caps were impeccable! They said that I must go to a good dentist. It really solidified to me that I really go to a quality dentist. I really hope he doesn't retire anytime soon. Its very hard to find a quality dentist when there are dentists on every corner that are just trying to make a quick buck. This office is really a gem. I hope Dr. Cavallaro never retires!

Took me over a year to write this review because I have such trauma from it. First off, I'm in my…read more30s with a missing tooth due to an infection that Dr Hejazi missed for 3 years, from a root canal I got there. Even though I'd complain of pain, & my gum receded to a "10!", it took multiple professionals here to miss the infection. Hejazi told me I must be stressed from school & needed a bite guard, which didn't even fit when it came. Thank you to Andrea who finally cared to listen and consulted a periodontist (who saw the infection without any equipment and recommended an immediate extraction.) Then the recovery process to get an implant, which took 9 months, ended up being infected because I wasn't properly instructed & didn't have antibiotics. The written discharge said Tylenol & IB. My sinus was perforated and infected as well. The pain was unbelievable & went for weeks before an xray showed the crazy amount of pus clouding my head. Dr Hejazi also offers free crown replacement as long as you keep up with your cleanings, he replaced each crown he did for me cuz they kept breaking. Also charged over 1k for each crown when my insurance told me it should have been $425, so shame on me. Call your insurance and confirm before agreeing to treatment, they also tend to use high pressure sales when agreeing to the financial aspects so you feel trapped. Definitely consult your insurance! Better yet, just don't go here. Dr Hejazi has great social skills but dentistry skills not so much. Please don't put your trust or health in this place, I made that mistake for you. Also since there isn't any pain from the tooth and that it's functioning well, there isn't a need for filling it. He also advised me of some other options but did not recommend them. On my second visit, I left the office on a hurry and we both forgot to take care of the cleaning. Dr. Manji ran out to the parking lot to get me back on the chair. I had my teeth worked in December last year (2012) and my teeth are still doing just fine! As I recall, the prices were reasonable.

My new dentist (I saw 2 different ones to make sure) found that I have several cavities, and need some caps before it gets bad enough to need tunneling. Totals over $3,000 from me after insurance taken out. Don't ever go to Dr Manji !!
