AMAZING! This is the best word I can use! Dr Gray is the most pleasant and considerate dentist I have ever met. His team from the dental hygienists to the specialty staff including Carla and Betty and all of the wonderful people that work there are so calming and make you feel like you are truly the only patient they have in the office that day. Dr Gray has been our dentist for many many years and then we needed more extensive work done. Our son needed implants and he treated him like he was his own son. It was so reassuring. Then i needed some work done and recognizing I have a very low tolerance for pain the team educated me on sedation and it was the perfect solution for me. Dr Gray even texts you in the evening of your procedure to see how you are feeling - what a great customer service from a dentist. And to tell you they have the best front office person does not seem enough. Robert is so friendly and always has a smile on his face. He recognizes everyone when they walk in the door and says hello by their name. So wonderful! If you need a dentist for a child to grandma, Dr. Gray and his team are there for you. They truly make going to the dentist the best it can possibly be. It is the "little" things like coffee and water in the lobby to the toothbrush package when you leave to the hugs when you are down or scared - they have it all. I was with Dr. Gray for about 17 years.I had come to him after a string of bad dentists.It was a fantastic experience.Until Espire got into the picture.I have Ehlers Danlos, so he'd done extensive work on my teeth. Good work.Love the staff. More recently, I went in for a check up and had he said the rear, upper molar had to be removed.It wasn't giving me an issue.He said it was pretty loose.it didn't feel loose and no nerve issues. Nothing.I trusted him. I let him know I had surgery the day after next. He said that was fine. I was leery, but he said it wouldn't be a problem.I had waited 3 months for the surgery date and was in pain,I didn't want to screw it up. For 45 minutes he worked away at it.I had a migraine that would not stop.I hadn't had 1 in years.He was upset bc he was behind on schedule.He stopped & went 2 c other patients then came back and gave me more shots.He'd been trying to rush through it, so that meant less pain shots,I was making a lot of noise.I'd never felt pain on any of the other root canals he'd given me.He was stressed.He'd said something to his assistant about how it had been 45m & had a stressed tone.It wasn't very caring about how I was feeling under the drill. I had tears coming down my cheeks,I had 2 keep demanding more numbing shots, something I'd never had to do before. I was in so much pain.That tooth had been solid-that's why it took so long to come out. I was going into surgery in something like 30 hrs, so I wouldn't be able to get any dental surgery done for a while because I had to be off my knee replacement for months. Knowing that, he should have just not done anything at all. It was not hurting. So I left with a deep,wide-open hole in my gum. Went home, took migraine medication and went to sleep. Next day the migraine was still pounding and my face hurt.I kept the lights out and stayed in bed. My husband made me soup for dinner and I went back to sleep. I'd been in so much pain before and in the morning. We got up at 3:30 to arrive at 5:45 preop. I didn't put on makeup and was too frantic to even look in a mirror.It was still dark when we left. The doctor dropped in to see me before surgery.He asked if everything was okay at home.I didn't understand what he was talking about. My hair covers my eye over right cheek (under Gray had been working on my tooth), the device 2 keep mouth open was pinching pretty bad.I let him know, but nothing changed.It was so unlike any treatment I'd received before from Dr. Gray, who was always asking if I was comfortable. The surgeon explained I had a black eye. I was shocked and explained I had tooth surgery.I went to look in a mirror,it was angry green, blue and black. My mouth was hurting a great deal, not ideal for surgery.I shouldn't have had the tooth removed with a major surgery right on top of it. I had a huge gaping hole in my moth for many months, having to clean out the food that got in. That tooth should have never come out. Espire, a company that sends spam to any patient who has an email-do not give them an email!I had to keep calling them and telling the office to remove my email every month.It's all about marketing & getting you back in the chair w/Espire.I loathed the birthday/holiday notices they kept sending to my family-why do we care (that not even Dr. Gray, but Espire wishes us a happy birthday?). They were sending my 81-year-old mother notices - my mother had major work done on her teeth with Dr. Gray. It was tens of thousands of dollars and she was so happy with the result.She was thrilled with Dr. Gray. I received a refund that they had overcharged her after her death. Unfortunately, Dr. Gray's office has always had an issue with overcharging and I had to keep following up to get money back, they'd always say it was the insurance company.I'd have to pull the insurance company into it to get the money back.I always spent more time trying to get money back than time in the chair.It was frustrating.But, Dr. Gray was worth it. I spoke with someone who knows about Espire who says they increase the number of patients (one of the draws of belonging to the network is they have a ton of $ to put into Internet advertising, but Espire gets a lot of $).I think the relationship encourages a quota-like system. I trusted Dr. Gray.I never had that tooth replaced because I just can't go through finding another dentist at this time,though my jaw still hurts. Personally,I believe this happened because of their affiliation with Espire.It was busier than I ever saw. Seats full, lobby busy.No time to take time.I'd never seen him so stressed.When I do find another dentist, it won't be with an office affiliated with Espire. read more

This office has been life changing for me. I'm someone who has had major trauma in the 70's with a really bad dentist. It left me literally scarred, which then made me ignore my oral care for YEARS!!!! (Like 30+ years) I was lucky that everything I needed to get done was "fixable" but after the tooth pain set it, it took be weeks to actually call and set up the appt. From the first phone call, to checking in, meeting with the Dr. Grey BEFORE he even examined me, to the exam, to meeting with the financial coordinator to actually scheduling the procedure (3 root canals and 3 crowns+ a cleaning), I left the office feeling already so confident in them and nothing had even been done yet!! Three weeks ago I had my sedated procedure and yesterday I had my permanent crowns put on! What an amazing experience!! My experience..... lol ok so I have major PTSD I cry, I run, I shake. Traumatized So I got there early because I was afraid I might want to turn around. I saw people funneling into the office kind of trying to get a read for what it's going to be like when I get in. I went to the up reviews while I was waiting it kind of made me nervous but the majority of them were five star. Once I got inside I noticed that it was very Zen, tranquil and peaceful a place I would definitely meditate it. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and nice greeted me when I walked in did not seem forced. Then Deanna and Dr. Greg sat down and explained, everything that was going to happen how it was going to be done and they got to know me just a little bit more. They explained the procedures that they were going to do which was no procedure at all lol. I started crying as i expressed my fears, so what they did was take photos X-rays and explain to me what was going to be done. I did Express that I didn't want anything poking me and he did not use a single poking instrument. Once the initial exam was over they sat and talked to me a little bit more and explain to me what was going to need to be done to fix my teeth. That conversation did kind of make me nauseous but that's my fault if I have PTSD he didn't say anything about it he was just telling me we needed to be done. They expressed how the sedation would work and what the next steps were I asked all my questions and they answered them very satisfactory. Then I met with Alexis the billing lady she went through everything that was being charged or that would be charged and gave me payment options for whatever my insurance did not cover. I will have to say I am actually very comfortable going back and I will definitely make my next two appointments thank you to everybody in the office. Update 3 days after my first session of work on my mouth I am fighting the side of my cheek but I think that's normal. I was afraid that after my first session I would be sore and bruised and in pain when all actuality all I really needed was a little bit of Aleve and I was fine on my second day I did feel like I got punched in the face but nothing bad definitely not worried about going back for my 2nd session. I so regret ever going to this office. I wanted white straight teeth. We agreed that Dr. Grey would place veneers on my front upper and lower teeth. I was with the hygienist when the in house technician who makes the veneers arrived. Dr. Grey's own hygienist told him that I wanted white teeth. At the end of the long day when I had the final procedure for the veneers, Dr. Grey handed me a mirror and I am sure he saw my shock and disappointment. My front and lower teeth were straight and had a nice shape, but the color was horrible. I thought it would get better, but it did not. At my next cleaning the hygienist said she didn't know why Dr. Grey had not whitened my teeth prior to the veneers, and that my teeth certainly were not bright. I subsequently met with Dr. Grey who said he would replace them at 50 percent of the original cost that I believe was $14,000. I declined. I continued to go to the office for cleanings, but my disdain for Dr. Grey's work increased. I asked him if there was any way to lighten the veneers, and he said no, and blamed the color on my consumption of green juice drinks, which is ridiculous. I have seen a few other dentists who agree that while the shape of my teeth are nice, the color is not. My natural teeth have a brightness but the veneers are just flat and unattractive. I am sure Dr. Grey has done very nice work for other people, but he totally failed me, and had no interest in correcting his poor work. Dr. Grey did these veneers nine years ago. I never liked them, and I never told him or anyone in his office that I loved them. They are especially disturbing now because I have to have a few crowns done and they will have to be matched with the unflattering shade of the veneers done by Dr. Grey. read more

The establishment of humanity in Dr. Gray's office is beyond any measure I have experienced in any industry, let alone the medical field. Real humans serving real humans. A true standout in our modern day humanitarian apocalyptic corporate world. Also, a luxury. Dentistry is quite a lucrative industry, the ability to provide/receive such care is not exactly affordable to many people. Similar to much of the world, dental work was once treated as a medical health need relevant to Maslow's hierarchy. Insurance companies changed that dynamic, clinging to middle aged care standards and costs. Current dentistry costs and lack of valuable insurance coverage have me now considering most dental work a luxury. Final thoughts, Dr. Gray's office has the ability of touching four of Maslow's needs hierarchy: Physiological, Safety and Security, Love and Belonging, and Self-Esteem. If you read the books in their waiting room, you can see they are reaching for self-actualization, Maslow's fifth and final level of human needs. I applaud their efforts! In a dentist you say? Yes, the medical industry has reduced humans to numbers. Dr. Gray and his staff are clinging to humanistic qualities in treatment. Firstly, I want to thank you all for the wonderful way that you have treated me the past five months during all of my treatments. The moment that I walked through your office doors, it felt like home. The procedures were like an adventure that I have never had at any other dental office before. I was in bad shape with only about 14 teeth, one of which was broken. Prior to going to Espire Dental, it had been 10 years since I last had been to a dentist, and all I wanted was just to have all of my teeth removed, and have dentures due to previous dentists telling me that implants were not possible for me because of my osteoporosis. Then, you surprised me by telling me that I could in fact get snap-in implants; I thought I had died and went to heaven! I have never had a dentist who actually listened to me, and what I wanted. By you doing this, and treating me with such care and compassion, it has caused me to develop a positive outlook in my life, and instilled a new sense of excitement within me because it has taken 20 years to get to this point with my teeth. I needed to change dentist because at Stone Crest Dental things went from bad to worse. I am so glad I give Espire Dental a try, because the service there is outstanding. From the nice sincere greeting as you arrive, the excellent customer service that you get at the counter, an office tour that you get to get familiar with their workplace, and the actual service from the hygienist is the best I've ever had. As with every cleaning, I got anxious, and was ready for the usual torture, but I did not feel any pain, did not bleed and my teeth got 100% cleaner than at other places. ONE OF THE WORST places I have ever gone had an appointment. I should have gone with my gut. I first spoke with the receptionist when I made the call. She was not nice and very loud. I went ahead and kept the appointment anyway. I really don't understand why she is allowed to answer any call. She never sent me the paper work that she said I would receive. This was a very horrible chain of events. I was greeted by Tania and she was so fake playing nice. Finally after being 20 questioned by her I was finally meeting the doctor. It was not a treat. He is a very nasty man and every word sounded forced and fake. He gave me a bad vibe. I could not wait to get out of that office. I think its time for him to retire. Hands down the best dentist I have ever met. If every office can be like this, I'd say the world would be a better place!!! I consider myself pretty low maintenance with my dental needs (the usual two cleanings a year). I recently had a dental issue and had to find a new dentist. Dr. Gray and team came to the rescue, offering CEREC same day crowns which was a huge plus for my busy schedule. A huge shout out to the biggest sweethearts- Catherine who called me after hours to confirm insurance details and personally welcomed me when I arrived, and also a shout out to the wonderful Brandi and Carla who took extra TLC of my teeth and made me feel very at ease. And yes, this office may be "out of network" with my insurance, but it's worth every penny! As a health care provider myself, I can tell you this office prioritizes the patient by paying extra attention to the small details (putting lip balm on so your lips don't chap out, offering TV/Music selections during the exam, having a mouth opener to put less pressure on the jaw during a crown fitting, and walking you through every step to maximize your comfort). Well, I've had poor teeth since I was young. Going to a dishonest dentist in my early sixties only made my situation worse. He convinced me to have caps on my upper front teeth and they turned out horrible. I ended up having those teeth pulled and wore a partial for several years. Fast forward - I heard about Jeff Gray's dental office on my favorite talk radio show and made an appointment for cleaning and a checkup. Unbelievable staff met me - friendly, warm, caring - I was impressed. This past January I was finally able to get permanent work done.
