Quick and efficient. Economy did a great job for a great price and they arrived when they said…read morethey would. However, business practices are questionable. We were approached by Economy to remove 2 dying trees in our parkway. The first quote was $1500 and he quickly lowered it to $1,100. When we said we were looking into the town removing them, he lowered the price to $800. We told him to leave his business card and we'd get back to him. We called back and asked if they would remove the 2 trees for $500 cash. We agreed on $580 cash. When the owner came to collect, he told me we got an extremely good deal and asked for $50 more. Then he stated that on the invoice it says "no dirt or mulch removal when grinding stumps" and Economy actually removed everything. Not my problem. I felt the owner was manipulatIve. He quickly left when he realized he wasnt getting anywhere with me.

I am very disappointed in the service ( or lack of) I received. Kept postponing coming out (I'm…read morenot unreasonable, I'm not blaming them in the bad weather ). After cancelling again last week, we were assured the'd be out this week. Again a no- show and when we finally got ahold of the office was told the guy that cuts the trees got paid yesterday and didn't show up for work. When I told them that I felt this was unprofessional, I was told (very rudely) that "every body has problems". When I told her that "ya, my dad has cancer and is very sick and I'm having to deal with this mess" . I was then told " what kind of person worries about a tree when you should be with your dad, I don't want your tree business" and hung up on. Just what I needed when I'm going through enough already. Have been a CSR for 30 years, and she is hands down the nastiest person I have ever dealt with.
