I would highly recommend Alexandra's Boutique for anyone wanting to try on dresses!! Kayla reached out to be as soon as I booked the appointment and communicated with me beforehand to make sure she understood exactly what styles I was looking for. On the day of, the client before me was running over time so my appointment started late, but the store graciously offered us champagne and charcuterie to thank us for being patient - overall, we felt super taken care of and valued! Kayla was very present, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who isn't 100% sure about dresses yet, because the staff were gentle and not pushy. They just wanted us all to have a good experience I will also say, as an LGBTQ+ bride, I felt very welcomed/affirmed!

Amazing place, most kind and helpful staff who know exactly what they're doing, beautiful dress inventory as they have anything you could imagine or ever wanted. I walked into Alexandra's Boutique not knowing what I was doing and before I knew it I was walking out with a dress of my dreams. I had a stylist named Alyssa helping me who knew just what I wanted without me even knowing. She was so helpful and pleasant and worked with my budget and everything so perfectly. I couldn't be happier and now more excited to wear my new wedding dress from Alexandra's Boutique. I will alway highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone as the years go on. Thank you thank you thank you!

Where else to go to get a gorgeous dress for a special event than Alexandra's? Seriously. If you need a gown, GO. I was so impressed by the gorgeous, sparkling clean shop with tons of dresses in every color for every shape, size, and style of taste. The team here goes above and beyond to assist, and honestly make you feel beautiful and select gowns to try that fit your aesthetic for the event you are looking for. Yadira was my consultant, and she was excellent - attentive, fun, and made what could have been a stressful shopping experience a positive one where I left smiling with a beautiful gown (the pictures DO NOT do the dress justice! It looked better in person :) Whether you're looking for prom, gala, or just to feel pretty, Alexandra's is definitely the place to go.

5 Stars - The Most Magical Experience with Gina at Alexandria's in Fall River! From the moment I walked into Alexandria's, I knew I was in wonderful hands but meeting Gina Urbano made my wedding dress shopping experience unforgettable. Gina is truly gifted at what she does. She listened so carefully to my vision, asked thoughtful questions, and somehow knew exactly how to guide me toward the dress that made me feel beautiful, confident, and completely myself. She created such a warm, welcoming, and stress‑free environment. Every gown she pulled felt like it was chosen with my personality, style, and wedding day in mind. When I finally stepped into my dress, it was such a magical moment and Gina's smile said it all before I even turned to the mirror. She celebrated with me, made me feel so special, and ensured every detail was perfect. If you're searching for your dream dress, I cannot recommend Gina enough. Her kindness, professionalism, and true passion for helping brides shine are unmatched. Thanks to her, I have the perfect dress for my wedding day, and I will treasure this experience forever. Thank you, Gina, for making my dream a reality!

The BEST experience a teen girl could have when shopping for Prom! Alexandra's third floor is exclusively Prom dresses. Literally 15 or more double sided, 20' long racks PACKED with every style and color imaginable! The arrangement of the boutique makes finding what you're looking for so easy! The floor is divided into several sections where you will find dresses sorted by either size, color, style or designer then sorted again by size within each section. My daughter is curvy and can be very difficult to fit. We were delighted to find that Alexandra's had well over 100 different dresses in her size. Several huge (and I mean HUGE!) racks of plus sizes in every style and color! I can't rave enough about the Prom stylists on staff. They are all teens who are quite professional and know a thing or two about fashion. My daughter felt comfortable and instantly related to them. Her stylist stayed with her helping to zip, clip and fluff. She was so patient as my daughter tried on dress after dress until she decided on the perfect one for her. I can honestly say that we will make the hour and a half trip to Alexandra's for every formal dress either of my daughters may need in the future! read more

STAINED DRESS/ INCORRECTLY MEASURED/ & TOLD "WE CAN'T GET YOU IN FOR ALTERATIONS...." HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. BUY YOUR DRESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. I really didn't want to have to leave a horrible review because my initial interaction was enjoyable. I found a beautiful dress and it wasn't until after that, that my experience was incredibly disappointing. To say the least, customer service is not at the forefront of their priorities. Alexandra's came highly recommended to me by several different people, so you could imagine my excitement when I went in and found my dress. That excitement quickly turned into anxiety and panic when I received a call from one of their associates who told me my dress had arrived but there was no way I could be seen sooner then late August (my wedding is 9/9) At that point, I decided to come in to pick the dress up so I could try to find someone to begin my alterations. Before leaving I put the dress on and pointed out, for the third time, my concerns on the size (dress is a size 2, I wear a size 0). I was told "this is how it is, every dress needs alterations" and it was quickly packed up and I was sent on my way. As you can imagine, finding someone to do such alterations is extremely difficult especially within this time frame. I called the store again and for a third time expressed my concerns with the sizing. The girl I spoke with was beyond rude and said "oh hun, I'm sure you lost some weight", I'm 5'1" 100 lbs, I certainly did not lose 4" from my waist in 6 weeks.. In addition to the alterations, (the bone needing to be deconstructed, taken in 4" in total, adjustment of corset , etc.,) I am now needing to replace portions of the lace that were STAINED. I brought my concerns to the store owner who was also rude and condescending. I would NOT recommend Alexandra's bridal to ANYONE! Customer Service is the most important part of this business and needless to say, they don't care at alL if it's your wedding day, all these people care about is a sale! read more

I went in to find a prom dress, like most girls do. I found the dress. It fit perfectly. I changed out of it and put it on the he hanger outside my door. The dress was taken away by an employee. I looked in the go back rack, I looked in every section with dresses similar to mine. The dress was lost. I had to leave without my perfect dress. I later found the dress online. I ordered right away. Only two sizes left, mine a 4 and 20. I ordered a size 4 on February 6th. I got one single confirmation email saying that the dress would ship in 2-3 days. Two weeks later I emailed the provided email address to inquire about shipping. I got no response. A few days later I have been refunded the entirety of my payment for the dress. Glad I got refunded. But there was no communication about a refund or cancellation. I simply asked when the dress would ship. Now I have to find a new dress. Not to mention the attitudes of the employees. I asked for help looking for the dress and I was told it was somewhere in the store. I wouldn't recommend shopping here. read more

I went to Alexandra's because i heard they had a large selection. After spending 2 hours in and out of dresses our specialist told me to put on a robe and see if I could find anything I liked.... I eventually found a dress that I loved and even asked if I could buy the stock piece, they agreed and assured me that their seamstresses would make the dress look like new as they are the best in the business. After a few months i finally had time to go back to find my dress still stained and with stains all over it. i was told that since it was a sample this was a possibility but they would try again if i waited a half hour. After waiting, I returned to the same dirty dress, which clearly had just been spot cleaned with steam. After refusing to take the dress in this condition, a savior named Connie arrived out of no where and said she would ask if she would ask her manager if they could dry clean it for me!! I was shocked to say the least as I thought this had already happened. I returned a couple of days later and specifically asked for Connie, where we did a complete 360 of a perfectly cleaned dress! I was so relieved and could not thank Connie enough. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Connie, but the rest of the experience was sub-paar. read more

Pros: Selection, Store allows you to look through the racks, Cap on alterations Cons: Do not allow pictures, pushy, bordering on impolite. I would give Alexandra's 5 stars for the selection of prices and designers they carry, but the good experience basically ends there. It was the first place I picked to go with my mom, and the associate who assisted us was terrible. Right in the beginning she informed us that we would not be able to take any pictures until I say yes to a dress. She proceeded to tell me that if I did not say yes to any of the dresses I picked out, that she would start pulling dresses until I found the one. Okay - not unexpected about the pictures, but if you start off our conversation with a tone informing me I will be buying my dress from you, well I am probably not going to want to buy my dress from you. Also, it is okay to offer to pull additional dresses, but offer to do it, do not make me feel like I am trapped there with you when I do not want to try on any more dresses. They also come into the dressing room with you, which I know is common at most salons, and personally does not bother me. What does bother me is the fact that they do not ask you if it is okay with you. After I had found two favorites, I explained to her that we had another bridal appointment the next day with my finance's mom and grandmothers closer to where grandma lived due to it being difficult for her to travel far, and it was very important to them so I would not be buying a dress today. The woman immediately informed me that if I am trying to find a discount that salons who offer discounts are violating the designer's terms. What I had just told her. had. nothing. to. do. with. a discount. I understand that sales associates want and hope you buy a dress your first time shopping but this woman's comments to me did not make me want to buy a dress from her. read more

My Fiance and I used Alexandras Bridal Boutique for her dress and had a very disappointing experience... Something that should have been a very fun and exciting process was turn into a horrible experience for no reason. I came to Alexandra's purely because of the huge selection of designer dresses, thinking I was going to finally narrow down the style I wanted and come back for another appointment another time. I didn't know I would finally find my wedding dress. Emma Nelson was my dress consultant and was extremely kind and helpful and had pulled some dresses I saw online to try before I came in. She gave me the opportunity to see their dress selection and pick any dress that I wanted to try on. She helped me finalized the styles that I loved by figuring out the features I liked and disliked from everything she chose for me for me to try on. One of my favorite things about her is that no matter the feedback of my family, she always asked me how I felt about the dress, making sure that I wasn't swayed and that my opinion mattered the most. I was still indecisive about my dress and at that point Emma had another consultant, Anthony, assist her to help find a dress. I was in my changing room and Anthony was talking to my family and showed them some dresses he pointed out based on what I told Emma I liked. He then came in and gave them to Emma to have me try on. They were two similar but different silhouettes, that had everything I asked for in a dress. At first I wasn't sure how it'd look because I hadn't seen the combination of features together before. Once I went out of the changing room to show my family, I knew it was "the one." Everything was absolutely perfect with the dress that I actually slightly teared up with happiness, because I couldn't believe it. It had to be around closing time at this point but Emma, Anthony and another consultant who helped Caroline, were just as celebratory as we were and offered champagne to my family there. They took pictures of us and were extremely patient as they allowed me to FaceTime and talk to my immediate family who couldn't be with me to see the dress. I'm so glad that I was able to have Emma, Anthony and Caroline's help during my appointment. They stayed late to help us cherish this perfect moment, and their service was impeccable. My experience at Alexandra's was amazing and I will absolutely recommend anyone looking for their dress to come here and request to work with either Emma, Anthony or Caroline to find their dream dress. They will provide you with the best service you could ask for. Thank you so much again for making this possible! read more

The manager of this store was not wearing a mask, and came up and stood right over my shoulder without her mask on. We were all very uncomfortable and it ruined the appointment. Worse yet, we were told by the saleswoman helping us that her manager was hovering because she believed we were taking photos--which apparently is not allowed at this store!!--and that she might "confiscate" my phone and delete all my photos. The saleswoman was clearly worried that her manager was going to punish her on this suspicion later, which made me think the manager treats her salespeople poorly in addition to putting their health at risk by not wearing a mask. The most frustrating part was that the store seems to care more about following bogus rules about photos than rules--actually official regulations!--designed to save lives. No dress is worth the way we were treated and the health risks we were exposed to. read more
My cousin and I went here to look for her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I thought the service was pretty good. They had a decent selection available and after my cousin described what she wanted, there were a bunch of dresses ready to try on. Needless to say, my cousin found her dream dress within a couple of hours. We decided to go downstairs and look at the bridesmaid dresses. Everything seemed reasonably priced. I fell in love with one particular dress- the first I tried on. The girls there were very outgoing and helpful. In such a short amount of time we were able to accomplish so much! They offered us wine which helped ease the experience of looking for a dress. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! read more

i found Alexandra's because I had seen a few Berta gowns online and this was the only boutique in the area that carries that designer. I submitted the form online to request an appointment on a Friday evening with no expectation that I would be seen in the next few months. I received an email from Fatima the next morning asking if I'd like to come in Sunday. On our commute down to Fall River, my mother and I got a flat. We called to inform them that we'd be late and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Upon our arrival (about 30 minutes late for a 90 minute appointment), we had a thorough consultation with Anthony. After the consultation, we were allowed to "shop" the huge second floor of wedding dresses. I loved every single dress Anthony chose for me. He was totally in tune to what I had said during the consultation and even found dresses I had stumbled upon on Pinterest. If at all possible when making your reservation, ask for Anthony! After saying yes to my dress, we were brought champagne and given time to take photos. I can't wait to go back for my fittings, shopping for my bridesmaids and my mother's dress. Fatima's staff are truly outstanding. read more

Working with Riley and finding my dress has been one of the most exciting experiences of my wedding planning process thus far, she has been absolutely fantastic! I would never consider myself to be an indecisive person but wedding planning has made me overthink every detail, especially the dress to wear on our special day. Riley's advice and expertise really put me at ease when it came time to making the decision. She had great feedback with the many designers and styles we tried on and even went as far as to call me when my the dress I was sure I'd choose went on sale for the weekend because of a trunk show the designer was having at Alexandra's. I ultimately went with a different dress but everything about my experience with Riley and Alexandra's boutique has made me feel special and excited. I cannot wait for my dress to come in and to get to have a dress reveal with my family! Thank you Riley :) read more

This place is not worth the hype. Way overcharged food and drink options and I was pressured into buying a dress I was openly unsure about. It was very obvious they just want to make the sale as they didn't show me dresses I wanted to see from the trunk show I attended. They showed me 4 dresses from the trunk show, and one of the assistants said they would "look" for the others I showed them but the assistant never came back. Come to find out one of the dresses I showed them was on a mannequin on the second floor as we were leaving. It was very obvious they were showing similar dresses to the one my party liked the most but were not what I wanted (lots of beading) and some were at the top of the budget. Additionally, we overhead them talking about us behind our backs as we left. Would rather travel to NYC than come back here since not many carry the specific designer I went there for. Very disappointing. read more

Being a plus size bride, I was a little nervous for the wedding dress shopping experience. My experience at Alexandra's proved that I had nothing to worry about! Sandy listened to my concerns and preferences and make the shopping experience fun and stress free. I ended up falling in love with the first dress she had me try on! They had a large selection and the customer service was exceptional. I never felt rushed or pressured. I am very happy with my purchase at Alexandra's Bridal Boutique. They were able to order my dream Justin Alexander dress with little time and were always very professional. Fatima is always available for any questions or concerns. Their big dressing rooms are a plus especially when trying on gowns. They also have a wonderful selection of dresses and carry all of the high end brands. I highly recommend them to everyone. My only recommendation is to call and confirm your appointments to avoid any misunderstandings. They work very hard at making sure you receive your dresses on time and that you are highly satisfied. I am very impressed!!! Sincerely One Happy Bride, Leslie read more

The whole experience of finding a dress was amazing and beyond great! This review is about alterations. Three times I went to get cups put in my dress and each time it wasn't done. When I picked up my dress I told the seamstress the work was not done and she questioned me as if i never ordered it (it was on my order form). On my wedding day, my bussel was not done the way they showed us and it was put in the wrong place. I had to safety pin my dress because it was wrong. Horrible experience with alterations. I will take my dress elsewhere. read more

I just found my dream gown this past Saturday at Alexandra's. The shop is gorgeous, the selection is amazing... thousands of gowns from a huge variety of designers at all price points. But I am giving five stars for my experience with Rosana. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. She completely understood the style I wanted, even though I was not sure how to explain exactly what that was or what I meant by it. I did not go into my appointment even expecting to find a gown but I fell in love with the very first gown I tried on! Rosana made me feel special and unique. She gave me her undivided attention and said she will work with me every step of the way until I pick up my dress from my last fitting. I wish I thought to take a picture with her after saying yes to my dress! If you make an appointment with Alexandra's, which I recommend you do, please request Rosana! read more

I won't ever shop at this store. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. She blames everyone else when something goes wrong in the store. My friend (whose daughter is getting married in a few weeks) was treated terrible. The owner yelled at her, blaming her for her seamstress wanting to quit. When one of the bridesmaids came to defend her, the owner put her hand in the girls's face and said "I'm not talking to you". Then she had her manager send the bride a message stating that this bridesmaid was no longer allowed in the store. For what?? Doing the right thing and sticking up for someone?!? During alterations, none of the dresses were done correctly. They all paid for alterations and when they went to pick up the dresses, the owner still had the balls to charge one of the girls $80 for work that was never done. When she refused to pay the $80, the owner refused to give her the dress and had the cops called on them. The girls are actually taking the dresses somewhere else to be done right. Anyone planning a wedding or any other special event should save themselves the trouble (and lots of headaches) and go somewhere else (except Party Dress Express). read more

Being a bride on a budget and a non-girly girl (I've never had poofy, white bridal dreams) I'd made a decision to steer clear of upscale bridal boutiques, in fear of both the price point and the hard sell. I happened upon Alexandra's by chance after a frustrating experience at another Fall River bridal and occasion dress store, and I am so glad that I gave them a chance! My best friend and I walked in without an appointment and fully expected to be turned away, but the staff was so gracious, and Jacky, my amazing bridal consultant, whisked us upstairs to an amazing loft full of bridal gowns. A quick conversation nailed down my street size, contact particulars, and price range ($1200). I can't say enough good things about Jacky! She listened to my thoughts,, suggested styles that she felt would fit the tone of the wedding AND flatter my shape, and then walked me through the extensive collection of gowns. She pulled 8 dresses within my price range right off the bat, and never once suggested a dress above $1200. In fact, I caught sight of a Pronovias that was easily $3500. Rather than scoffing at my naivete or pushing me into a dress that I could have loved but never afforded, Jacky stated that she had many similar options in my price range, and proceeded to pull them for me. I found my dress within 20 minutes-it was the third one I tried on! During the fitting, my friend and I were offered champagne, and another consultant came upstairs and chatted with us about my wedding. Even though the goal of any salesperson is to make a sale, I never felt pushed to make a purchase. Alexandra's even stayed open a little late so that my parents could see the dress after work, a kind gesture on their part. As we waited for my parents to arrive, my friend and I toured the boutique and it is beautiful! The lower level houses wedding party and formal attire, with is well appointed with generous fitting rooms and flattering lighting. The second floor, which houses the huge gown inventory, has four separate dressing and viewing areas, with large and charmingly decorated dressing rooms. A few things you should know: Make an appointment! I was lucky, but given the attentive service I received, it's obvious that each consultant would be over-busy if they were juggling walk-ins and appointments day-to-day. If you bring friends, family, or helpers, they will be audience only---your consultant will assist you in putting on each dress. That being stated, know that all of the samples were well-kept. it was obvious that a lot of care goes into keeping them in great shape. Nothing was dirty, torn, or stretched out. Don't worry that you won't fit into a sample size! From what I saw, samples ranged from sizes 8-14. In the bridal world, that's still on the smaller side, but the range is more generous than some other places I'd heard about. Ask for Jacky! She's amazing, has great fashion sense, and will really listen (and giver her kind, honest opinion if you ask for it). Bottom line: Exceptional, attentive, personalized service. Flexibility and consideration. Beautiful, well-kept samples. Unexpected kindness. If I hadn't stepped outside of my comfort zone, I never would have found my beautiful dress. The fact that the customer experience was wonderful was an unexpected bonus. read more

My friend and I had an amazing experience picking out and ultimately buying her wedding dress. When you make an appointment here you get the help of a very knowledgeable staff person for two hours in a well lit semi private space so if you are new to the whole wedding dress thing, don't panic because they've got you. Also they stock additional sizes so if you don't have a model's body you can try on just about anything you want. Caroline, the consultant, was very mindful of my friends budget, what she wanted in a dress, and the fact that my friend is a street size 16 (we had come from a previous appointment at a salon with absolutely nothing to try on above a size 10). Caroline let us roam around the racks a little (which nicely display the dresses and are all in all pretty organized) while she went to go pull things that she wanted us to try. After we had 5 or 6 to start, my friend and the consultant went into the dressing room to try the first dress (Caroline asked first if she could come in). I was pretty nervous given our previous experience, but my friend was able to try on several dresses during the appointment and was never really limited in terms of style or silhouette. My friend had to try on a couple of dresses more than one to finalize the decision but the process never once felt rushed. The whole experience of purchasing was fantastic and so far i would recommend anyone in need of a bridal or formal gown to seek this salon out. read more

My niece went here to buy her wedding gown and in the process was tricked into paying $550 for a polyester veil with plastic beads that probably cost them $20 to purchase wholesale. Her mother has called and called the store with no result. I do understand the anxiety of brides to get the perfect dress. But come on, people. I've read all the yelp reviews and it looks like this is a familiar pattern with this company: a beautiful store, upselling young brides with high pressure sales tactics, champagne toasts -- And then nastiness. Once the sale is done, they could care less about you. Nada. Silence. read more

I didn't purchase a dress here, but I was the maid of honor for my friend who did. She is a plus-size bride and right off the bat felt a bit of body shaming from her attendant. The attendant led us through the dresses quickly, pulling things here and there without much talk. When we suggested a dress that we saw, she would say "no" and keep walking. In the end, the bride's sister picked out a dress while the attendant was doing something else and the bride asked to try it on because it was in her price range. As with the majority of the dresses, they didn't have a sample size that could accommodate the bride, but the attendant did let her try it. It ended up being "The Dress" and the bride purchased it.. the one her sister picked out and the attendant probably would have said "no" to if the bride hadn't insisted. As far as fittings, I was there for a few of them and they went well enough. Even with appointments we waited a very long time to be seen, and the fittings are done in a big room where the brides can all see each other. We purchased our bridesmaid dresses at Party Dress Express, which actually was a more pleasant experience as far as attendants go. The Bride commented that she wished she'd just gone there instead of bothering with Alexandra's. read more

I stumbled upon Alexandra Boutique through the knot, emailed for an appt and got a response the next day for an appt. First impression of this place, it's really grand!! I was greeted by Christine or Christina whom happened to be my assistant; she checked me in and took me upstairs to the dressing rooms. There's a ton of dresses. I don't think you will walk away without finding one. But the thing is, they're pricey and if your budget is under or around 1000, better luck somewhere else. The dressing room was spacious, the place was well lit and the decor was just lovely. Christina asked me a few questions, typical questions then we're off to trying on dresses. Your assistant will be in the fitting room with you at all times, helping you get in and out of the dress. Because of their no photo policy, I believe they won't leave you alone in the room. Good thing I'm not uncomfortable with strangers but they might be able to work something out if you are uncomfortable having a stranger helping you. I tried on a few dress and LOVED 2 within the 1500 price range which is more than what I had wanted. I made an appointment to come back but unfortunately canceled because I found a dress somewhere else. Overall, it was a good experience. I did wish she was more helpful in my request to find dresses with a lower price tag. She did mentioned that their dresses starts at 1200 though. I do recommend this place though because of their selection. read more

I had the best experience at Alexandra's and Sheri was amazing! I was really excited to go but also nervous and unsure what to expect, as it was my first time trying on dresses, but Sheri made the whole time we were there seamless and worry-free. I went with my mom, sister, and future mother-in-law and we couldn't believe how much fun the whole experience was. Please READ this before stepping into this store. I dropped off a garment bag containing my wedding dress and my veil to be preserved by the store, but I never saw my veil again. The employees of the store misplaced my very expensive veil that I wanted to preserve and have for my future daughters. Once my preserved dress was delivered to my house and I realized my veil wasn't in the box, I sent an email to the store owner, Fatima, who I had been in communication with for all of my services at the store. This time, however, she didn't email me back but instead had one of her employees call me. Her employee asked me to send her pictures of my veil. She then said she checked the entire store and didn't see my veil anywhere. I then sent Fatima countless emails asking her for support with this issue. I asked her if one of her employees could have thrown the garment bag out accidentally without realizing that there was a veil in the bottom of the garment bag, but no response. I asked her if someone could have accidentally given it to another customer or sold it to someone else, but again, no response from the store owner. I also said to her that the least she could do for losing my veil would be to replace it, but still no email response back. So I finally called the store and spoke to Fatima on the phone. I said all the same things to her that I had emailed her about, but she told me that she couldn't do anything for me. She mentioned something about not being able to do anything for me because I didn't buy the veil from her, which astonished me because I had bought my wedding dress from her store, did seamstress services for my wedding dress with her store, and did the preservation service with her store, but $2000 wasn't enough for her. I asked her if she could check her camera footage to see what happened to the veil the day I dropped it off to the front desk, but she said no. I told her that I understand that people mistakes and we are only human. However, when someone makes a mistake, they should hold themselves accountable for it and do their best to make it right. I told Fatima that I had lots of connections with newspapers due to my administrator position at high school and that I worked with high school students everyday who buy lots of dresses for prom. I asked her again to please replace my veil and make her store's mistake right, but she hung up on me. This store owner was incompetent, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I will be sure not to use her store for any future services and will warn all my friends, family, and colleagues about her disreputable customer care and lack of common courtesy. read more

I haven't stopped thinking about my experience at Alexandra's since I left. Meghan was absolutely incredible, she made me feel sooo comfortable and made the process so easy and so much fun. She literally brought my Pinterest board to life, and I said yes to the very first dress I tried on! I can't recommend Alexandra's enough, thanks to Meghan all of my bride dreams came true. read more

Could not have had a more professional, fun and helpful experience! Erin was so great. She was both patient and excited for my daughter and her first pageant. Our daughter tried on about 15 gowns when Erin brought the perfect one to her to try on. We will be back to Alexandras, beautiful dresses and gowns, beautiful store and wonderful people!! read more

We had a tremendous experience at Alexandra's yesterday. Three teenage girls and two moms can be a volatile combination when looking for prom dresses. Alexia was an incredible help and found a special dress for each girl. We are so happy with our choices and appreciate all the special attention. It's worth the trip! read more

This place was a joke. on 3/25/16 My mother called ahead to see if they had styles of bridesmaid's dresses in stock so we can choose between those and be done, first she's on hold for a good amount of time, then the woman over the phone said "she didn't have a computer in front of her" and would call her right back. NO PHONE CALL FOR FIVE HOURS! My mom had to call back and we found out they only had three of the styles we wanted, We still deiced to go ahead with the appointment. We arrived 5 minutes early!3/26/16 and it was Very windy and cold outside so we walked into the store, which the front door was unlocked! The employees were at their little meeting when the lady yells out, "we're not open for another 5 minutes please wait back outside". SO YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE YOUR CUSTOMER WAIT ANOTHER FIVE MINUTES IN THE COLD WHILE YOU CHIT CHAT??????? RUDE. Soon enough a boat load of people arrive as well complaining about the cold as well and we had told them what just happened, they were shocked. They Finally opened the doors and let everyone in and checking them in, but the crazy thing is that the lady that yelled at me and my mother earlier was totally ignoring us and checking everyone else when we were the first to arrive! We spoke up and then was asked to sit in the waiting area for another 5-10 minutes. We finally get greeted by a woman, (can't even remember her name) she was going to assist us on our appointment. We started talking and she said what would you like to try on, and we told her we we were on the phone that day before and already put in our request for styles that we wanted to see. Unprepared and no communication between employees! She comes back with two of the styles, the first one I try on was ripped at the zipper, and she gave very little feedback on how to wear the dress because you could can the neckline. We asked to see the other color samples and she brings them and THEY ARE STAINED! She giggled ad say "ohh you know people bring coffee in the store and it spills". SO YOU COULD HAVE ORDERED A NEW COLOR SELECTION, WITHOUT THE STAINS??? AS we were trying to take photos for the bride who lives in CALIFORNIA, we wanted clear photos for her to see details and coloring. NO WE GOT PLACED IN THE SECTION OF THE FITTING ROOMS WHERE THERE WAS ONE DAMN LIGHT SHINING OVER THE CHAIRS. My mom kept moving me around because our pictures were blurry and dark. I ending up liking my third choice. But did not plan on buying that day because I needed approval from the bride herself. After some googling we found that there was a brand boutique location where the third dress I like and decided to drive the extra 30 minutes to try on other dresses. SERVICE WAS 1000000% better, no appointment needed, I had about 4 girls helping me and my mom select styles for the other 4 bridesmaids!! I ended up buying my dress there for the SAME AMOUNT OF $$ It cost at Alexandria's. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE NOW WILL I RECCOMMENED ANYONE GOING THERE. And lastly, your window displays were AWFUL, you need to hire some freelance Visual merchandiser because those old mannequin's with wedding dresses being clipped with industrial clips was unflattering, also tags hanging out of the side of the dress, the mani's were old, hair was outdated and whats up with the plastic umbrellas? not clever at all for " Spring time" and I would know because I've in retail for the last 5 years and no Window display should EVER LOOK LIKE THAT! read more

This was my second time dress shopping and I can't say enough good things about Alexandra's! I worked with Sandra and she was incredible. She made me feel so good about myself and was so sweet and listened to everything I wanted and had perfect suggestions. I came in looking for a specific dress, and I couldn't believe they had it and it was my size! After saying yes to the dress Sandra found me the perfect veil as well! The place was so clean and nice, it was the best experience! I cannot recommend this place and Sandra enough!! read more

I had such a fantastic experience picking out my wedding dress at Alexandra's Boutique. They have such a beautiful space and tons of gowns of all styles. My stylist, Melissa Hebert, went above and beyond to make my experience so enjoyable! She not only picked out so many great options but she made my family and I feel so special and was extremely kind, helpful and attentive. We had such a fun afternoon and it is a memory my family and I will never forget! Also I can't wait to wear the gorgeous gown in a few months!!! read more
I am normally one to judge a place on yelp reviews but there was so many mixed reviews I honestly couldn't decide whether to make an appointment or not . But a few of my coworkers have gotten their dresses from here and I truly trust their opinions. When you walk in omg this place is beautiful! My consultants name was Taylor I love how we started off with basically interview of what kind of wedding I was having and what I was looking for in a gown.we started searching for dresses oh my goodness how big this place is with a wide range for ALLL SIZES!!! I am normally a 16 /18 but of course the dress sizes run higher . There were so many beautiful dresses, It was the 4th dress I tried on was a winner I fell in love instantly . All the other dresses I tried on were gorgeous as well but this one was just perfect &the price was just as perfect as the dress. Taylor was great and patient as well as helpful expressing her ideas and if I would have saw this dress magazine I would have just passed it. I feel so beautiful and I can't wait to walk down the aisle with this beautiful dress on. Check thid place out I highly recommended it!!!!! read more

BRIDES BEWARE! I went to Alexandra's for my 1st bridal appt a few months ago. I had my heart set on a long sleeve lace dress. I had brought along my mom, mother in law, & grandma. This was the 1st appt I had no intentions of buying a dress that day. It's very difficult getting grandma out of the house and I just wanted to make sure she felt included. I was positive I would be purchasing my dress from Alexandra's and figured grandma could have her chance to shop with me and then when I found the one I loved I would come back with my best friend for her opinion. When we walked in the place was completely chaotic- so chaotic that i asked if they were having some type of event that day. I was informed me that this was just a normal day. There were so many people in the lobby there was no place for my grandma to sit as we waited past our appt time. When we finally were called by our consultant Grandma had to walk up a huge flight of stairs which was very challenging for her. The salon is beautiful but I'm not sure how they accommodate handicapped people. If your bringing an elderly loved one you may need to contact the salon ahead of time for accommodations. Now for the bad part... The consultant asked me what style & price point I was looking for. My budget was around 1,000. She immediately told me I couldn't afford a long sleeve lace dress within my budget. I was crushed! She said she would show me similar options but wanted me to try on options from a trunk sale visiting the salon that wknd. I told her right away that I wasn't ready to purchase and wanted to try on options from the regular selection. She showed me some dresses that were just terrible quality and so unflattering. She urged me to try a different style & so I did. Again the options were very limited & poor quality. She explained that my only chance of getting a lace dress would be if i purchased from the trunk sale. I again reminded her that I wasn't ready to purchase that day but she urged me to atleast try a few on and reluctantly I did. Of course, these dresses were SO much better. However, they were still not fully lace or long sleeve. The consultant assured me I simply couldn't afford that and I needed to "get that idea out of my head". She also reminded me that I could only afford these nicer dresses because of the trunk sale. She said the dress was at the salon that wknd only and I had to make an immediate decision. I asked if i could sleep on it & return to the salon the next day & she said no bc the salon was too busy the next day and no one would be able to help me. I asked if i could take an hour and talk to mom and grandma about it over lunch. She said no if you don't order now the deal is off the table. I explained that i had appts at other salons & she told me that Alexandra's had every dress that every store in the area had. She also went so far as to tell me that one of the salons I had an appt at was going out of business (which was totally untrue). I purchased the dress that day only to find out that the trunk sale only took a measly $100 off the dress price. Meaning that dress was originally pretty close to my budget had i purchased outside of the trunk sale! I immediately regretted this decision. Unfortunately, Alexandra's contract states that all sales are final. For weeks every time I thought about my wedding dress I felt SO sad. Although it's a very pretty dress it's just not what I had in mind. I never though to contact Alexandra's right away because 1) i signed the contract and 2) I was totally convinced that I couldn't afford a dress better than the one I had purchased. I realize I am 100% at fault & never should have signed the contract. I eventually broke down and told my fiancé the story and how unhappy I was with the dress. My fiancé was VERY upset and urged me to contact Alexandra's about an exchange. I did go in to speak to the manager who was very kind and listened to my case. Of course, she informed me that there is nothing she can do since i signed the contract. My fiancé and mom felt so bad they urged me to go dress shopping again just to see if my dream dress really was out there. I shopped at Party Dress Express and David's Bridal this weekend and had a completely amazing no pressure experience. I ended up finding my dream dress fully lace long sleeve within my budget!! I was shocked and overjoyed bc Alexandra's had convinced me that this was impossible. My mom graciously offered to help pay for it so that i could have my dream dress on my wedding day. Unfortunately, I am stuck with the 1st dress from Alexandra's (which isn't due to arrive for several more months) but that's ok. I'm just SO relieved to not have to do business with them anymore. My bridesmaids had chosen a beautiful dress at Alexandra's but we absolutely will not be purchasing anything else from there. Brides just please beware of their selling tactics. This salon doesn't care about you. They just want your money any way they can get it. read more

Brides beware or buyer beware. The attentive sales people do a very good job of finding you a dress in your price range. Be aware as you're having a final look at your dress And they place the veil with your dress as you're trying to choose which one you love, the best idea would be to take the veil that you love right then. Supposedly they keep very good records. They said if we didn't decide to take the Veil now they would write down the exact Numbers and description of the veil so that it could be easily tracked when we choose to come back and buy it. They also stated that it might not be there when we call or come back to get it because it stays on the sales floor. We did call back and decided to buy the veil. Their records showed that it was still available and they gladly excepted my credit card number over the phone and we could pick it up at our soonest convenience. When we picked up the veil it was gathered tightly in a plastic bag. My daughter noticed it seemed as though to be the correct veil because it had the pearls and rhinestones on it as the one we tried on originally. They also told her that all it needed was to be steamed out because it was very crumpled and messy at the bottom. Along with the dress we took the veil to the lady who was going to do the alterations. It was there two months. When the dress was finally completed to our approval we asked for the veil and it looked as though it had nothing done to it. The wonderful woman who did the alterations to the wedding dress stated that the veil looked as though it just need to be steamed and maybe sprayed with static guard. When we got home and removed the veil from the bag we were surprised that it looked rather short compared to the original version that we thought we were buying. When I called Alexandras Bridal Boutique they directed my call to the store Manager. Immediately she was argumentative. Stated that she didn't understand why we did not examine the veil upon buying, Questioned us why we took two months to call back, and that the only thing that she would offer was that we return to Alexandras Bridal Boutique bring it back in at an inconvenient time for us so that they could trim it. Fact of the matter is and why I am telling you Buyer beware, is that the veil had already been trimmed as you will see in the picture I will be attaching. Trimming it would not be an alternative it would only make it shorter. Our question to the store manager was why we ended up with something different than what we were shown on the sales floor. My daughter also observed while picking up her dress that the sales manager was also argumentative on the phone with another customer and she knew that calling back complaining about the veils' Quality and length,.. would just be a waste of our time. I thought it would be worth a try since they seem to claim to be a reputable company. They stated all sales are final and again the only thing they could do was to trim the veil more. Hopefully the pictures will show that you must check everything before you leave that store. BRIDES BEWARE!! Something went wrong somewhere along the line and our only fault was trusting in Alexandras Bridal Boutique and the management. Customer care and satisfaction is key. Hopefully these pictures will help somebody in the future. read more

Cannot day enough good things about Alexandra's!! I went in thinking there was no way I'd just pick a dress after being to a few different bridal stores and having great and not so great experiences elsewhere Alexandra's is by far the best. The fitting rooms are beautiful and spacious, but my consultant was who made the appointment perfect. Christina listened to what I was saying the whole time and brought me amazing dresses to chose from that were perfectly my style and all looked amazing. She gave great advice and made picking a dress such a fun enjoyable experience. I'd recommend it to any bride looking, don't bother with all the small boutiques Alexandra's has everything you need! Can't wait to go back for alterations and do get my bridesmaids dresses! read more

This past weekend I had the honor of having Sandy Jackson as my consultant and she was absolutely extraordinary! She didn't look at me just as another "sale/bride", but she actually cared about how I felt at that moment and how I would on my wedding day. When I first made the appointment she is the one who answered the phone and I was able to give her my entire story and explain why this was going to be such an emotional and bittersweet moment in my life. Because of that, she refused to let me settle and did not give up until she found "the one" that I always pictured in my head, ever since I was a little girl. Not once did she get frustrated with me, or try to convince me to love something just to make the appointment go by quicker or to just make a sale. Each dress I tried on she stopped and asked me "what do you like, what don't you like, and what is missing". One of the last dresses I tried on was a princess ballgown (JUST FOR MOM), and Sandy knew immediately it wasn't for me. As badly as I would have loved to have that actual Cinderella feeling while walking down the isle, it simply was just too much dress for me. I finally told her exactly what I have always pictured myself walking down the isle in, and at that very moment she walked away, came back with 3 dresses, and gave me one of the most difficult decisions of my life. Each one was exactly what I was looking for, and all 3 of them were out of this world stunning and beautiful! I ended up going with the 2nd one simply because it had a little bit more sparkle, and I can honestly say, if it wasn't for Sandy, I don't think I would have ever found "that dress" I have always dreamed about. From the very beginning Sandy made my whole wedding gown search so much easier and more exciting. I gave her a strict budget over the phone and told her I could not go over no matter what. Not once, did she come back with a dress that was over my budget, and that alone meant so much because it showed me she didn't want me to fall in love with a gown that would always just be a fantasy and not a reality. Her honesty is remarkable! Even when I was trying on gowns she would tell me if something didn't look right, or if it wasn't good enough, or if she knew that I would have a tough time with the dress on my wedding day because I happen to be extremely small. The entire staff at Alexandra's is amazing! They are all so welcoming, have so much energy, and really take pride in making someone's fantasy become a reality. But I do have to say, from the moment I stepped through the doors, Sandy made me feel as if I was officially living in my own personal fairy tale. I wasn't just another "bride" to her; she took the time and got to really know me, which that right there, made the "hunt" so much easier. Without a doubt, I will be going back there to get my bridesmaid's dresses, grandmother's dress, flower girl's dress, and whatever else I can think of just to get my hands on another one of their gorgeous gowns. As I said before, everyone that works there is absolutely amazing! However, if you have the chance to have your appointment with Sandy, I highly recommend putting the request in. I promise, the moment you meet her, you will immediately start to feel as if you are in your own Disney movie. And, a little fun fact, I actually just got engaged this past January in DISNEY WORLD!!! I finally got my real life fairy tale that I always dreamed of and Sandy contributed to it, by finding my dress that was made and fit for a princess!! With that being said, Sandy I can't thank you enough for everything!! You are absolutely amazing and I can't wait to come back with my bridesmaids!! And to all of the other brides, Happy Wedding Gown hunting and Congratulations!!! Here's to Love, Laughter, and your Happily Ever After. -xoxo- read more

One of the best parts of planning my wedding was getting my dress & that's all because of Anthony Palmieri & Desi Ledo. To be honest, when I was told I was going to have a male consultant helping me find my dress I was a little nervous, because my experience trying on dresses at another bridal store had been very up close & personal to say the least. But Anthony has class with everything he does & made me feel so comfortable trying on dresses & in the end the whole process with him was a breeze. So if you're worried about that get that out of your head right now. From the moment he called me to confirm my appointment he was on point, letting me know letting me know what I should bring, asking who I was bringing, ect. And at my appointment he took the time to really understand what I wanted & what I didn't before pulling gowns. Three dresses later I had found the one. What I appreciated most of all about Anthony finding me this dress was that when he asked what my budget was I told him I could do $1500, but would be happier around $1000. So he made a point of pulling dresses in my lower price range first rather than try to get me to fall in love with something else for more money. And before I said yes to the dress I asked him if there was anything else he thought I could possibly love more & he said not unless I wanted to spend more money. So again he had the chance to upsell me & he didn't, because he cares about his brides & wants their dress to be perfect. (He even helped me pick my bridesmaids' dresses, because I couldn't see myself working with anyone else & I had a pregnant bridesmaid I was stressing over. And those dresses were perfect too, I'm so glad I went with his choice because the girls would've been dying in the style I picked with the weather we had that day.) I did run into few bumps during the alterations process, but Anthony was there to help fix everything even though it wasn't his department/responsibility to. He went so far above & beyond helping me. I wanted to add more lace to the back of my dress & a belt, so he found a lace that seamless matched the one already on there & helped me figure out how much beading I needed for the belt I was ordering. And when the seamstress Sue couldn't understand how I wanted these on the dress Anthony started coming to every appointment with me to make sure things were done right to the point where he was down on the floor & pinning the lace on himself. And Desi was his right hand girl through all of this making sure I was happy with how things were being done & making sure they actually got done correctly when I left. I also really appreciate them pulling in the head streamstress Connie to make sure everything was fitting the way it was suppose to. As much of chore as wedding planning can be I honestly looked forward to having to go the store, because Anthony is such a positive uplifting person no matter what was going on with my dress or in my life in general I left there in such a good mood & Desi only amplified this energy. If you want you want an experience that is just as memorable, not to mention stressless & affordable, go to Alexandra's Bridal Boutique & see Anthony for your dress & Desi & Connie for your alterations. read more

Wow better than Kleinfield's! This store is so luxurious and elegant on arrival and the staff is so friendly! With over 3000 dresses to choose from on arrival I said, "If I can't find anything here then there must be something wrong with me!". I heard nothing but great reviews from all the girls at work who found their dresses here. Upon making my appointment online I filled out the style questionnaire, so they'd have an idea of what I thought I wanted. Lauren O. went above and beyond! She called me 2 days ahead of time and sent an email asking for my Pinterest board or inspiration pictures. Her energetic positive energy had me feeling confident in her desire to help me not just find a dress but rather THE dress. She went as far as printing out & researching all of the dress screenshots I sent her to find out who made them, if they carried them, and similar dresses to try if they didn't have it. She had easily half a dozen dresses pre-pulled and helped me fine tune my style as we went. She pulled No's as we went to avoid getting overwhelmed and was very organized through the process. It was so relaxing for my girls to just sit back and enjoy the show. Even in dresses I didn't like she asked specifics like "Tell me about the neckline, color, shape, feel etc." to get a better idea of what to pull next rather than accepting a straight No and moving on. She made me feel like it was ok to not love a dress and by no means did I feel rushed or pressured. She even stayed over an hour and a half past her shift (& store closing!) to help me find the one. As we drove almost 2 hours to come here & my appointment was nearing an end, I was getting worried I wouldn't find the one. All the dresses I had tried on were pretty but just not me. Either too much or not enough, I couldn't find my goldilocks dress. I was losing hope I'd ever have that "This is the one" moment you see on TV. I had my maid of honor who flew in from out of state and was really hoping to find it with her there than continuing to search solo. Lauren O. did not give up on me and went for one last round before trying on the top contenders again. Suddenly when I was about to give up, she put me in a dress that had everything we were looking for & it baffled us why we both never thought to look at that one. It was it! There was not a dry eye in the room! We even went back through to the 4th, 3rd, & 2nd favorites before putting it back on to make sure! She patiently waited while we celebrated and facetimed with family who couldn't be there before moving onto measurements and ordering. What a heart of gold! Lauren O. made my experience, and I couldn't have found the dress without her knowledge, attention to detail, work ethic, patience, positive attitude & encouraging spirit. Icing on the cake was that Lauren O. was very respectful of budget and we ended up way under! Only negative is that I wish I had known they had a parking lot out back prior to paying for metered street parking. Oh well. Worth it! read more

I 1st learned of Alexandra's Boutique at a Bridal Expo last winter. Although the boutique is over 1.5hrs from my home, I am SO happy I decided to make an appointment and commit to the drive. I really appreciated the Boutique's COVID-19 safety policies in place, it made me feel more at ease bringing my elderly grandmother along who I really wanted to be part of the wedding dress shopping experience! Alyssa T. was my bridal stylist and she couldn't be more polite or kind! She happily greeted us at the front door when arrived and offered us an elevator when traveling up and down the levels so my grandmother felt more comfortable. As soon as the elevator doors opened it was truly bridal dress heaven!! The Boutique appeared bright & nicely organized. I appreciated each bride and their entourages were provided a semi-intimate place amongst the boutique to showcase different dress options. There was ample space in both the entourage waiting area and dressing rooms. The first few minutes of our trip was spent talking about my style & vision for my wedding dress. I was not aware prior to coming in that the stylists literally do everything for you-- including picking the dresses you try on unless you have any specific designer style # requests you ask for in the appointment intake form. I was very happy this policy was in place after all because not long after Alyssa quickly picked several dresses that fit within my criteria, the very first dress I tried on (I must add it was completely out of my radar when researching which dresses I would like to see..) it ended up being the dress I excitedly chose to wear during my Cape Cod wedding next June!! Since this was my first bridal dress shopping trip and I was shocked the very first dress I tried on would be "the one", Alyssa continued to support my request trying on more dresses with different styles & fabrics to be sure this dress not only met my bridal vision but also made me feel most comfortable. However, it was totally evident after comparing every dress to the 1st, admitting there was absolutely nothing about it I would change-- I realized I had definitely found my dream dress!! I disclosed my budget with Alyssa at the beginning of the appointment and every single dress she selected was well beneath it. With the difference, I was able to afford and buy a majestic cathedral length veil with the most delicate looking embroidery with Alyssa's help the same day! Alyssa T. was so professional during the entire visit and resourceful post-sale letting me know when my dress was ready for pickup. She even exchanged her contact information so I could share with her a picture of me in my dress all glammed up on my special day! The staff at this shop undoubtedly care about each individual bride and that shines through in the level of customer service they provide. Alyssa T. is a true gem and I highly recommend any future bride take the drive to meet with her!! read more

I was referred to Alexandra's by multiple friends who have gotten their wedding dresses there. Being that it was my first-ever time trying on dresses, I was extremely nervous. My two sisters and I arrived at Alexandra's and immediately felt welcome. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. Despite this experience being during a pandemic, I felt safe, as all safety guidelines were being adhered to. As soon as I was handed off to Mali, I knew she was the bridal stylist for me. Mali immediately eased my nerves and made me feel comfortable. She sat down with my sisters and I to get a better sense of what I was looking for. She listened to my needs and wants, and took the time to ask me about my engagement, fiance, and wedding plans! It was clear that Mali also carefully reviewed the answers I sent to the inquiry questions she sent prior to my appointment. I told Mali that I was an indecisive person and that didn't plan on buying a dress that day. I simply told her I was just looking to get an idea of what I want. Low and behold, Mali worked her magic and did the unthinkable. After trying on just 7 dresses, I said yes to the dress! With each dress I tried on, Mali paid attention to the things I liked and disliked. Each time she came back with something more fitting to my style. She listened exactly to what I said and knew exactly what to bring to me next, until we landed on the perfect dress that checked off all of the boxes. During the whole process, Mali flooded me with compliments. Another stylist continued to come over as well and do the same. I truly felt special standing in front of the mirror in my dress. After choosing the dress and taking photos, Mali surprised me with a gift bag as she brought me up to take pictures in front of their ever-popular neon pink sign. My experience was just perfect, but it didn't end there. Being the worry wart that I am, I panicked the next day that the picture of the dress I took home was not the dress I tried on. I emailed Mali and she got back to me right away, once again easing my stress. She sent me all my order information and the link I could use to go back and stare at my dress and all of it's beautiful details. I truly can't recommend Mali and Alexandra's enough. Mali is every bride's perfect cheerleader and her priority is making you feel comfortable before, during, and after your dress shopping experience. My sisters have been to other boutiques before, and they said this by far was the best experience they have had. Thank you Mali! Looking forward to returning when my dress arrives! read more

****REQUEST PERRY**** I had my appointment today (March 6, 2022), for my wedding on December 11, 2022. I requested Perry because I heard from a friend that she was great. I'm very big on word of mouth from people you know. Perry DID NOT disappoint. She was absolutely amazing! I wasn't exactly 100% excited to go wedding dress shopping and put it off because I think of myself as plus size and heavier and because I have gigantic breast. From the moment we met Perry, she was so enthusiastic and charismatic and personable. She introduced herself and took an interest in who was in my group that came with me. She gave a detailed rundown of how the appointment was going to go. She asked if I had any thoughts of what I want and/or don't. I was very open to suggestions but I did have a good enough idea and showed photos. Then she asked about the budget. I was 97% firm on my budget. She did say that the style I was interested in could be $100-$200 more than my budget possibly but she would stay in my budget. She absolutely stayed in my budget. I did have in mind one dress that I saw on the website that I loved and hoped would be the one. I tried on two dresses before that because I was worried, but she encouraged me to try on the dress I loved from the photo because it could very well live up to my dream or it wouldn't and she said that if it didn't than it would give me time to find the perfect dress. (I ended up loving it even though it was SIZES to small and when I was still in the dressing room I knew it was the one but I felt uncomfortable showing everyone because it was to small and the back didn't close and Perry went out to everyone to explain that unfortunately it was a smaller size and we weren't able to close it but the bride loves this dress and wants to show everyone.) When expressing my concerns about my body image about my weight and breast to her, I can not tell you how genuine she was with her response to make me see my beauty and feel comfortable with myself and this process. She wanted me to be very honest with how I felt about the dresses she pulled but I didn't have a negative thing to say, she listened so well to what I described I liked and didn't. I can not express how comfortable I felt with her and how easy it was to just talk to her about my fiancé and life. She's absolutely wonderful and I will suggest people to her all the time!! read more

I "accidentally" ended up here while looking for their sister store, the sample boutique a couple blocks down. I am SO glad I did! Walking in feels like you are on "Say Yes to the Dress," beautiful and seasonal decorations everywhere, a cute waiting area, friendly staff and a buzzing atmosphere. During the pandemic, things are weird, but the staff was very helpful and made things feel as "normal" as they could. I worked with Mali and she was wonderful. She pulled dresses I knew I wanted to try and also some that I didn't even know I would like. This was my 5th (ish) appointment as I was struggling to make a decision, but Mali helped me finally pick a dress I am extremely excited to wear. She helped find the little accessories and linings to help me envision what the final product would look like. She was extremely friendly and kind with me and my family. On a weekend day, you will be sharing the salon with many other brides. If you are looking for an intimate experience, this may not be the place as it is a large store. It is beautiful and fun, but I can see how it could be overwhelming for some. A few things to note about the store Pros! 1. If you purchase your dress here, your bridesmaids get 25% off their dresses (and there are tons of them!), and mother of the bride/groom get 10% off! I think there may be other discounts too, maybe on accessories and/or dress preservation, but these are the big ones that stood out to me. 2. You get the cutest little swag bag when you say yes to the dress! There is a great little tote, a cute shirt, a little confetti popper and lip balm. I think that normally there is champagne involved, but the pandemic sucked the life out of that perk. Cons... 1. You can't take pictures unless you decide on a dress. Then you can take as many as you want of that dress. But if you want a photo album of all the dresses you tried on, that isn't going to happen. 2. You can't wander around and look through dresses. I understand why - it would be a mad house and would cause girls to become overwhelmed. There are just too many dresses (thousands?) and it would just be too chaotic. So if you are looking to wander around through dresses, try the sample store down the road, they are also great! (Shout out to Wendy!) read more

This review is a little overdue. I finally said yes to my dress about a month ago at Alexandra's and I couldn't be happier! I had tried on tons of dresses at 5 other places and I honestly thought I was never going to find the perfect dress for me. I'm super indecisive and I kept finding dresses that I loved "part of" but wished that I could combine it with another dress that I loved "part of". I was 99% sure I was going to be the bride that settled for a dress that I "kind of loved/really liked" but knew I would spend months analyzing and wondering if I made the right choice. I went to Alexandra's hoping I would find the perfect dress but assuming I wouldn't. Then I walked into Alexandra's! It was gorgeous inside. All the girls that worked there were so sweet. The fitting rooms and showing areas were huge so you didn't feel like you were on top of other people. My consultant Katie was the absolute BEST!!!! I told her all of the above, showed her a few pictures of previous dresses that I tried on, and described the "parts I loved/didn't love " of each one (basically felt like an indecisive bridezilla). She was so sweet and so attentive-- she made sure to write down/ keep in mind all of the things I envisioned in the perfect dress. Then off she went searching for me! She pulled 5 or 6 dresses and they all looked gorgeous, but one especially stuck out to me. She put me in that dress first and we went out to show my Mom and my sister. I LOVED it and so did they!!! My only hesitation was that we couldn't take pictures ...because I had thought I loved certain dresses in person at other stores, but then would see pictures and hate how it photographed on me. Katie could see how important this was to me and immediately offered to take pictures on her personal phone (so she could make sure to follow store policy & delete them). She showed me a few pictures and then the happy tears started flowing!!!! I was so shocked and so relieved that there was the perfect dress out there for me. I didn't even try on any of the other dresses she pulled. She found the perfect veil to match and then brought us champagne when I said yes to the dress!! Thank you SO much Katie!! I could not be happier with my experience so far at Alexandra's! read more

I visited Alexandra's on Sunday looking for a wedding dress. I'm getting married next year. I booked online and was surprised how quickly I was able to get an appointment. Leading up to the appointment my Consultant Jill Souza reached out to ask me some questions & for some ideas about what I was looking for! Truthfully, I had no idea. I was anxious and a little overwhelmed not knowing what to expect. When we arrived at Alexandra's I was greeted by a handful of women. All so polite. That's where it was introduced to Jill! The store is neat and organized. Clean. Great atmosphere. From there I was brought upstairs and sat with Jill for a bit answering questions and working on getting an idea of what it was I was looking for. I went it very open minded but still really nervous. Jill went "first round" to pull some gowns she felt might fit what I was looking for. Also to knock out some I wasn't sure of. She came back with 5 or so dresses! When we got into the room to change instantly Jill made me feel super comfortable. Dress one was a hit but it was missing something! On to dress two. Although not for me, it was still stunning. Dress three was fun.. but not for me. The whole time Jill answered my questions. Educated me on different fabrics and styles. Jill is very knowledgeable. Easy to interact with. Has a great personality and is patient. She made me feel the most comfortable. Then comes dress four.... There was just something about this dress... the moment I put it on... immediately I looked up at myself in the mirror, caught Jills eye and felt that "you'll know when you put it on" moment. I tried dress five on because it checked all the boxes I had originally thought of. Dress 4 just stuck with me. Through this entire process Jill was unbelievable. The entire staff was also. I had my 4 year old daughter with me and she was losing steam fast. The girls got her into a dress and kept her entertained long enough so I could SAY YES TO THE DRESS!! From beginning to end my experience was nothing short of awesome. Jill made a day with my sisters and mom and daughters memorable. An experience for myself. I 10/10 recommend Alexandra's. Ask for Jill Souza when booking! I promise you, you won't be disappointed! read more

I had an amazing bridal experience at Alexandra's! I requested an appointment and heard back from Fatima within a day and was able to schedule my consultation on the day that I desired. I was thrilled about this because it was a somewhat last minute request for the date I was looking for. Alexandra's was the first bridal shop I went to for my wedding dress and thanks to the amazing Christina, I found my dream dress at my first appointment. In fact, my dress was the first dress I tried on. Christina was so helpful and I truly cannot recommend her enough! When we first arrived, she made us all very comfortable and really listened to what styles I was interested in. She has a great eye and picked out some gorgeous dresses for me to try on based on the photos and styles I mentioned, all within the desired price range. Christina pulled probably 10-15 dresses at first, all of which were beautiful. She carefully explained each dress, told me about the styles, the designers, the fabrics, and a lot of other useful information. When it was time to try on dresses, Christina told me to choose what dress was calling out to me the most and to not think too much, just go with my heart. I was immediately drawn to a stunning dress she selected for me. When I put it on, I knew right away it was the one. When I went to show my group, they all loved it and tears were shed. Christina said it was going to be tough to beat, but still had me try on other dresses to be sure. She also went to pull a couple other dresses by the same designer because I was really drawn to that style, but that first dress kept beating them out. After I tried on some other dresses, I tried my first one back on and added a veil and it became real that this was my dress. She asked me if I was saying yes to the dress, and I did! I thought saying yes to the dress was going to be a difficult decision, but it was the second easiest "YES" I have ever said. I am so happy I was able to work with Christina. She was patient, fun, and really cared about my interests. She is a true professional and made my experience so special and one I will never forget! 5 stars for sure! I will recommend her to anyone I know in need of any special occasion dress! read more

When I started looking for wedding dresses I literally had no idea what I wanted. I browsed a bit on their website but being in grad school and full time work and a new house I hadn't had time to really go through what dresses I really wanted. Thankfully, I had such an amazing experience picking out my wedding dress at Alexandra's! I booked the VIP appointment and it was phenomenal! I needed it as I was walking in practically blind and they give you 3hrs to yourself with a single person to try on as many dresses as you want. They are so welcoming and there is champagne and the charcuterie board is delicious with plenty to go around. I worked with Sandra Johnson who was absolutely fabulous!! She worked with the limited wishlist I hastily made for her and brought in all types of dresses to make sure no stone went unturned. You could tell she really knew what she was talking about. When I tried on my dress I loved it but then I tried on another dress with another bust line and also loved the bust style but not the dress as much. I was so torn and she immediately saved the day telling me we could make my dress with that bust style and side sleeves that I loved in the other dress but keep the lace and other features of the dress I loved most. She even told me her schedule and said when my dress comes in to bring it in when she's working so she can make sure the head tailor knows exactly how to tailor it. The whole experience was fabulous! They also even gave me a free super cute Jean jacket after I purchased my dress and a bunch of coupons to get dresses for the rest of my wedding party. I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to come here. You don't even need the VIP experience to feel valued and have someone work with you to find the perfect dress, it just definitely was worth it for me. There's also a good range of prices for dresses. I spent about 3,200 but that's because with the VIP room there's a $2,000 minimum. Although initially I had a lower budget and they were even willing to work with me on that. That includes a veil and other things as well though. But there were dresses for $1,600 too that were stunning, just not for me. Overall 10/10. read more

I went to Alexandras Bridal yesterday looking to start my dress shopping. This was my first time trying on a wedding dress and since my mom and sister happened to be visiting this weekend I decided we should start the process and go for a little to look at dresses. From the moment we sat down with Tonya I had told her we were just starting to look and that my goal for the day was to get an idea of the style of dress I wanted to continue to look for. I had zero intentions of saying yes to any dress that day. I was anxious going to the boutique. I was worried that none of the dresses would look good, that the personal stylist would try to sell and push a dress that wasn't actually flattering, that she'd only pull dresses at the top end of my budget, and that being a bigger girl I would feel totally uncomfortable during the whole process. The moment we sat down with Tonya she was kind, excited, and took notes on every detail of what I wanted for my dress. She pulled about 7 or 8 dresses to start. In the fitting room, she was completely honest in the most helpful way. She had pulled a dress she thought might be a good choice but once we put it on, she told me no right away, rather than trying to push me to like her choice! When it came down to a decision between two dresses, she gave me her honest opinion on which she loved best, and why!! I felt extremely comfortable the whole process. When I finally found a dress that I absolutely loved, I was worried about the price. I thought it would definitely be at the top end of my budget. Come to find out, it was $1,000 UNDER budget!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Tonya for helping me find the most perfect wedding dress. Thank you for being so kind throughout the whole process, being so patient and letting me try on the dress over and over to make sure I truly loved it, and making me feel comfortable and beautiful every step of the way. I truly felt like you were not my stylist but my friend I had brought to help for the day! Thank you for helping me say yes to the dress on a day I thought I was just beginning my search! read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Alexandra's with Christina G. I have to admit I was not really looking forward to wedding dress shopping. I am not a big shopper and was already a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what style dress I liked and wanted for our July destination wedding. Christina G contacted me a few days before my appointment asking for some more information about our wedding and any ideas or Pinterest pictures I had found. This will be my second marriage and didn't love the whole dress shopping experience the first time around. While I was skeptical of her optimism that we would find my dress that same day (especially since it was the first place I made an appointment at), Christina put me immediately at ease and eventually got me excited about finding the perfect dress. Even with Covid, where even normal things can feel weird, Alexandra's does a great job making this experience safe and comfortable. The set up is really cute and you get your own little private section to try on dresses with a pedestal, large mirror and couches for any one you bring with you (it was just my mom and I). Christina G was extremely patient with me and took my feedback from every dress I tried on and even put me in dresses I would never think to try. Other consultants would come by and listen to what I liked about a certain dress and what I didn't and would recommend other dresses and styles. After 2 hours and what seemed like a hundred dresses later, to my surprise I actually ended up finding my dress that same day!! However I wasn't quite ready to pull the trigger...I had already made an appointment to shop elsewhere. Christina was very understanding and I felt no pressure at all. But before I left I did make a follow up appointment for a few days later. I had a strong feeling that I would not find anything I liked better and would come back, try it on and immediately know for sure! And that is exactly what happened! Christina was genuinely excited for me and I really cannot say enough positive things about her and the whole experience at Alexandra's! read more

I had to write a review about Sandy - she was so great! Upon entering Alexandra's, it is VERY overwhelming. I have been there before for a friend so I knew what to expect. It's a large store that has so many dresses and there were many other brides-to-be there with their entourages. I was pleasantly surprised by how organized they were the second I walked in. They introduced me to Sandy and she offered us water and was very welcoming. My appointment was on the bridal level. You have your own fitting room, but other brides and families are close by. Honestly though, with the brides all coming in and out I didn't find any of that distracting at all. On my day the on-site manager introduced herself to me, as did a consultant for the trunk show that was going on. They really do try to make each and every bride feel important, which is nice. As with probably many other brides, I had one idea of the style of dress that I liked and thought I would end up getting. Sandy listened to what I thought I wanted initially, gave me dresses in that styles, and each time would remember the characteristics of each dress that I liked. For example, she'd have me try on thin straps then a thick strap to see what my preference was , all over lace vs. just lace on top, different necklines, sparkles no sparkles, etc. I'm so glad Alexandra's offers such a knowledgeable consultant (since I knew nothing!!). With Sandy's help in narrowing down my preferences and keeping my focus, she pulled the absolute perfect dress for me on my 10th or so try on. Sandy did a quick pivot for change of dress style when the initial silhouette I thought I wanted was not at all working for me and she incorporated all my preferences she already knew from narrowing everything down. I can't stop looking at pictures of myself in my beautiful dress! They do the "are you saying yes to this dress?" and give you champagne for you and your entourage. It was such a special moment and I couldn't be more grateful to Sandy for helping to create it for me! read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I was completely turned off by Alexandra's bridal because of such negativity. I didn't get my alterations here so I don't know what they're like with that. But everything else was incredible. I had a extremely difficult time trying to find a wedding dress. And just when i was exhausted and wanted to give up my mom suggested Alexandra's bridal. I told her I didn't want to because I read reviews on how bad they are but she forced me to go. It is a beautiful place. The employees give you their full attention bringing you to your own section with couches, mirror and dressing room. She sat me down and asked me what I liked in a dress. She told me she knew an exact dress of what I wanted. I said yah sure whatever everyone has said that. My mom and maid of honor went around to all the dresses and picked some out for me. I tried on a few that my mom and maid of honor picked out and one I liked. I picked the most gorgeous dress. I knew I would love it before I lifted it from my feet to zipper it. And it was the dress the employee grabbed for me!! They don't allow you to take pictures but who cares. When you find the dress you love you wouldn't need to be deciding through pictures anyways. You can take pictures and get champagne after you found your dress. Paying for it was simple and straight forward. No problems there. I went back to pick up my dress after it was in. I worked with another employee who went through several different veils for me to try on. The worker there are super sweet and give you plenty of attention. I told them about their reviews and why I didn't come sooner and I wish I did. Woulda saved me a lot of time wasted at other places who kept bringing me tulle when I said I hated it. This place is great and I promised I would review it so no one else would be afraid to come here like I was. I had a great experience. I'm also not a bridezilla so maybe that could be why I had a great time and no complaints. read more

I went to Alexandra's today to get my wedding dress! It was a little hectic to get there since there was a parade going on right in front of the boutique, but Fatima had sent me an email the day prior to my appointment giving me alternative directions to be able to get to their parking without any issues! It was a huge help! As soon as I walked in I was blow away by all the beautiful dresses. I am a bride that knows what she likes and why she wants but was stuck between two different style types of dresses. My consultant was Anthony (whom I had personally requested after reading people reviews and of actually seeing his instagram page, he seems like he and I would mesh really well). I am SO SO glad I requested him. He was immediately focused on me (I had been to a previous bridal salon that I actually said "yes" to a dress but ended up canceling because I realized I only did because I felt pressured too. And my bridal consultant made me feel like "just another number"). Anthony made me feel like I was the main priority, and always encouraged me to tell him what I was thinking, and told me what he thought worked or didn't work. I loved his honesty and enthusiasm. He is absolutely amazing and from the very 1st dress he hit the nail on the head with what I wanted. He took my budget, then told me if I gave him my "secondary budget" (more than I wanted to spend but still completely do able) that he knew he'd get me in my dream dress. It turns out he was absolutely right. I said yes to the most beautiful piece of clothing I had ever had on in my life. I cannot say enough good things about Alexandra's Bridal Boutique, their dress selection is awesome and there's definitely something for everyone there. But in my opinion the star of the show there (besides the dresses of course!) would absolutely have to be Anthony! I 100% recommend him! I can't wait to go back for my girls bridesmaids dress and for my fittings!!! read more

Made an appointment at Alexandra's bridal boutique thinking that I would just be "looking to see what I liked" as that was my first day shopping for a wedding dress. After spending some time earlier that day at another boutique, I left with a vision of what I had in mind. I worked with ANTHONY who is hands down the best consultant there is! The first dress that he picked for me was THE DRESS!! I gave him somewhat of what I thought I wanted and truly gave him the opportunity to find me something that would compliment my body type and style. I decided to try on a few others that were also completely stunning but I knew the search was over the moment I got into that first dress! The tears, the happiness and all the emotions that you could have imagined. So much for just "looking" the search is over and I am over the moon with excitement for the big day and to get back into that dress. I would recommend this boutique and Anthony a million times over. Thank you for your professionalism, expertise and great personality which made this experience absolutely amazing An update to my previous review! We just returned to Alexandra's for a mother-of-the bride appointment. Another absolutely wonderful experience. Our consultant, Corey was patient, determined and a great listener. After trying on multiple dresses, we narrowed down an idea of what we were looking for and then from there, Corey completely nailed the look! He helped us find the best and most complimenting dress for my mom. Thanks to the entire team at Alexandra's for helping make these memories with! After going through a major wedding crisis due to my mother's medical status, I couldn't rave more about the customer service at this boutique. Special thanks to Carol for all of her hard work/efforts and just overall her genuine compassion in helping pull off a miracle wedding in a time crunch. Amazing staff! read more

First, let me start off by saying this place is phenomenal. We traveled to Alexandra's from CT because my experience in finding a wedding dress was less than desirable beforehand. I'm a plus size girl and in CT, NOT ONE SHOP had plus sizes in store and most consultants went as far as telling me that I am limited due to my size (and honey, they do not know me because I wear wtf I want to!) So my mother and I were hopeful coming here and had a feeling we were going to find THE dress. We walked in and it was like a movie! All of the stylists were lined up on the left hand side and as you checked in you were greeted and brought to your section for trying on dresses. When we got to our section, our stylist Brianna sat us down and asked us a few questions before pulling dresses. She pulled four dresses first and I tried them all on. I felt that she really listened to my critiques of the styles and when she went to pull more, she came back with five more (and at this point I was thoroughly impressed because I tried on more dresses THAT ACTUALLY fit here than ever before!). It was the sixth dress that ended up being the one and I'm telling you, it was remarkable! I was even able to buy it right off the rack because it was a perfect fit! My mother and I cried lol Once we paid for the dress and were all set, we decided to go to Jovani to look at some Mother of the Bride dresses and once again, we were blown away! Dwayne, Corey and Diane were just PHENOMENAL!!! My mother tried on so many dresses we lost count, all of them being just breathtaking in their own way. We were able to narrow it down to three dresses that she is going to make a final decision on and purchase one of them in two week when we go back to pick up my gown. All in all, this was the best experience I could have dreamed of and I am just so grateful Alexandra's Boutique exist! :) read more

I am SO happy I chose to go to Alexandra's Boutique for my wedding dress. After many friends have had major success here, I decided to randomly book my first visit with Alyssa as she was among the few available on the date that myself and 7 other guests were able to go shopping. Before our appointment, Alyssa emailed a very personal questionnaire, inquiring about my preferred style of dresses, themes and any major "NO's" or "ABSOLUTE's". After several emails back and forth, with immediate responses from Alyssa (and she even offered to follow me on social media profiles like instagram/pinterest which I was super happy to let her see who I AM before meeting her in person. With this type of communication prior, I had full confidence heading to my appointment that "Today I might say YES to my dress!". Upon arrival we were greeted with open arms, Alyssa was on time, friendly and got the group excited for what we were about to do. Alyssa was well prepared, had several dresses ready for me to try on immediately. I am pretty self-conscious about my body type, but throughout the entire appointment, Alyssa made me feel very comfortable and continued to compliment me throughout the appointment and listened to my mom/guests opinions. After trying on 5 dresses, I loved the fifth but had a few more specific details I wanted and without hesitation Alyssa came back with one saying "I think you're going to love this...." and she wasn't wrong - this dress was STUNNING and fit all categories I wanted (including being within my price range!) After only trying on 6 dresses - I SAID YES to my dress and owe it all to Alyssa for helping me and making this experience quick, easy and fun. Alyssa is amazing and I guarantee you will also have the best time and WILL find your dress if you book with Alyssa. Can't thank her enough and would give 10 stars if I could! read more

I had the best experience shopping (and finding!) my wedding dress at Alexandra's Boutique. Nicolette Dacus was my stylist and she was incredible!! I was honestly not expecting to find My Dress the day I had my appointment. It was my first time shopping for a wedding dress and I had just gotten engaged a couple of months before. I made the appointment when I did so my mom and I could share the dress shopping experience together (she and my dad came to RI from GA for a visit and it was our only opportunity to share the experience). Alexandra's has an amazing selection, like pretty much any dress you could ever dream of, they have it! Their space is also incredibly beautiful. My party and I had a corner to ourselves with super comfy couches and gorgeous decorations. They even supply the fun signs for your group to indicate if they like, love, or dislike different dresses. Nicolette herself is so professional and listened to everything I said, all my likes and dislikes about different styles. She was patient and energetic and made the experience so much fun! Most of all, she has wonderful intuition and selected a dress that was very different from all the others I had tried on and the inspiration ideas I sent her ahead of time. This dress that was so different from what I thought I wanted ended up being the one for me. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was My Dress. It may be cliche to say, but I honestly cried when I saw myself in it. Nicolette picked that dress for me because she listened to the feedback I was giving her after each dress I tried on, and she knew the right questions to ask! I can't say enough positive things about Nicolette or the whole experience at Alexandra's Boutique. If you are shopping for a wedding dress, you need to go to Alexandra's and book your appointment with Nicolette - you will be so happy that you did!! read more
