In fact, they go out of their way to try to add a few cents per oz to make the deal fair (depending on how much I'm selling). I highly recommend this LCS to ANYONE in the Northern VA area. Most places in this area will never offer more than $2 back of spot, even on sovereigns. The guys at Bullion Bank actually understand stacking/collecting and can usually offer cash. When they don't have the cash they can write a check that you can literally cash at the bank down the street. By comparison, I know most jewelry stores in Asia take a lower percentage off the gold price (I think 27% if I remember correctly). Not sure what is standard in America. My experience was quick. They used a tool to check what karat gold my jewelry was, weighed it, and then paid me out in nice crisp cash. I'd use it again for the convenience, but not to get the best price.
