The shop itself is located in Tysons Mall on the same side as Nordstrom. We've worked with Sharam several times who is friendly and knowledgeable, and offers his expertise and opinions as well in a personable manner. I gave him an idea of what I wanted for my first big girl watch and he texted me as soon as they received one! My husband and I are very straightforward when it comes to shopping and Sharam made it easy for us. Okay first of all, if you are going to buy here, I HIGHLY recommend Sam I. as your sales person. He was amazing! He said he had only been working there for about 2 weeks but I thought he did great. 5 stars just to him!! Now for the 2 star bit. I came in after a few minutes of walking out because I decided to buy something and my intention was to wait for Sam to be done with his client (he didn't see me walk in that I'm aware of). I visited today at this high-end store. I met Mr. Paul Mazhari, who was professional and courteous; then Paul was explaining to us in a calm manner what we were seeing. Paul took care of us in a gentle manner from the beginning to the end. The total process of seeing, watching, and listening to a high-end wristwatch was an excellent process and experience. Paul also gave us what we've been looking for as to perpetual movements for a wristwatch so that the watch would not stop, which is called a "Wof" box. The workers are extremely arrogant. I went in there looking for a specific day date model. I would have made the purchase if they had it in stock. The overly pompous employee I interacted with blatantly told me very loudly " Rolex doesn't make day dates like that". Loud enough so his fellow workers hear and I could hear them snickering. He literally acted like I was wasting his time and he was too good to help me. I had to pull up the Rolex official website and show him that it does exist. I despise high end item store employees who have this pompous demeanor and take pleasure in ridiculing customers. I would actually bought another day date they had on display. However, I was so disgusted with my experience that I ended up ordering from a different store. I had on shorts and a gym shirt. I went to the mall to purchase an iphone since I just lost my old one. While waiting to get called in, I decided to look at your inventory. Had this sales person behaved properly, he would have made a sell. It's just so dumb to me that some act this way and block a potential sale. I guess that's why they're working retail and middle aged. If I were an owner. When the time came to invest in a time piece, I knew where I needed to go but I was unsure of what I wanted. I've passed by the shop at least a dozen times on my way to Bloomingdales (smh), but could hear my wallet scream when I'd venture too close to this shop. I finally decided to drop in and was met by Ron on of the many sales people. He greeted me and asked what I was looking for. I provided him a vague explanation of what I wanted and my overall budget. I was lucky while at the store they had received a shipment of a single Rolex GMT Master II and after trying it on fell in love. I had to have the watch and wanted to know more about it. Even when the news was bad (needed more repairs than I thought), they took the time to explain it to me, and tried easier fixes first in case the bigger fix could be avoided. I have purchased over 3 watches from Lenkersdorfer, convinced a close friend that purchase history has to be made there in order to get a chance to get his dream watch. Over the past two years I've been frequently visiting and in contact with two sales reps from there and have made multiple visits to all the local Rolex Authorized Dealers. Unfortunately I've decided to build my purchase history with this branch as it's the closest to my residence. I've been in close touch with my two reps that have assisted me in my purchases but still no hope of getting near my desired watch. Again, this store has TONS of demand so I would not recommend trying to build a purchase history here. At this time I do not care if I get my desired watch from here as this game that is being played is no longer fun, build a purchase history away from the 3 AD's in the Tyson's Corner area if you're willing to do so. Without a purchase history I was able to get a DateJust from an AD in Pentagon City in under two weeks but have never received a slight hint from Lenkersdorfer that I will receive my desired watch even though the manager has spoken to me, shook my hand and told me that I will be receiving it very soon. Again, build a purchase history elsewhere, this store has high traffic and lots of demand. I've posted the purchases I made, a PAM 1086, IWC Mark XVIII and a 31 mm DJ for my wife. I've also convinced a friend to buy a Tudor GMT from this store. I have an increasing 8 watch collection that they are aware of so selling to Grey market is not a question. One other friend I referred to them was turned down for a Cartier Santos and a DJ but then purchased w Datejust's (2 Men's and one ladies with a mother of pearl dial), a Cartier Santos Medium and an Omega Speedmaster from the AD in Pentagon City in under 2 months. read more

Lenkersdorfer is a fantastic and my go to place to buy a luxury timepiece.  They are an Authorized Dealer for many brands, including Rolex, Tudor, Omega, IWC, Cartier, Jaeger LeCoultre, Panerai, and Breitling.  They also carry a great selection of pre-owned watches in excellent condition. Worry not if you don't know much about watches as you will be guided and supported by a very knowledgeable sales staff who are also watch enthusiasts.  I especially appreciate Gaya, who went far and beyond to secure a watch I really wanted, and she further made sure the pickup process went flawlessly.  Gaya is a consummate professional who is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to detail with my watch purchase.  I enjoyed my experience at Lenkersdorfer with Gaya so much that I returned several weeks later to purchase another watch from her.  That purchase once again far exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. Well worthy of 5 stars with a phenominal experience from Sohaib. From the moment we walked in, we were eagerly greated and shown a wide variety of Tag Huer watches that I requested to see along with Rolex watches that my best friend browsed for. Sohaib was very respectful even mentioning ever so politely that they offer 12 months financing, though we declined and paid outright, he gave us a different option in a very polite way. We really appreciated him showing us various designs and collections from Tag and he gave us very fair deals. I was shopping for a very special gift and Sohaib even educated me about Tag's collections, its metals and craftsmanship. We never felt rushed and it was an overall positive experience. My best friend decided to purchase 2 rolexes at the same time, he again educated us about the history of these pieces, their rarity and even market demand. We actually stayed a-while because we genuinely were enjoying our time, made great jokes and conversation. We never felt like we were looked down upon because we came in with very casual clothing and everyone around us constantly smiled and laughed from afar because of the fun us 3 were all having. Richard, another associate was also very sweet. He packaged all of our items up for us and said, "you both will never forget this day and these pieces, are simply showing you how to live your best lives!" Ali Kaker at the store is my go-to for purchase, service, and accessories. These guys are super patient plus they don't work on commission. The authorized Rolex service is tremendous AND generally cheaper than Tourneau and other dealers. Plus they are local in McLean VA which is great. Even when Ali isn't there, his coworkers recognize me and are very helpful. No pressure environment, good inventory and knowhow. Update June 2017 Still my favorite spot for fine watches AND service. Have referred a couple of Rolex purchases to Ali, and five official Rolex service/repairs. All top notch. They have pretty much every piece you could reasonably look for, even many of the rare Rolex pieces pre-owned. If you just need a watch, go for it. But if you're going to purchase a luxury watch, you want someplace where you'll get the luxury experience. I didn't find that here. I came in to look at divers while on a business trip, and I've had my eye on the black Omega SMP 300 for some time now, but figured I'd look around at other brands too while I was there. I'm also a bit of a watch nerd and tried chatting up the associate about all the different pieces like the hesalite moon watch, the Rolex Sea-Dweller, etc. and he just seemed annoyed that I was even there. Only really gave me one word responses despite repeated attempts to chat with him about all the pieces I asked to see. I mentioned the double AR coating on the SMP 300 and asked him if he's noticed many people coming back for services with scratching on their dials from that and he chuckled and said "no the AR coating is on the under side." I reiterated that the Seamaster 300 series is renowned for its top and bottom double AR coatings but he insisted I was wrong and shook his head which felt strange to me because... he was wrong. Anyway, I took a look at a pre owned version in great shape that I was interested in purchasing, and I tried to open the helium escape valve to make sure the gasket was still in good shape so the watch wouldn't flood the second I got in the pool with it. At that moment he irritably said "don't touch that" like I was a 3 year old at a museum. I told him exactly what I was doing and tried to reassure him that this isn't my first time handling a seamaster and he said "it's fine you don't need to look," after which I lost all interest in purchasing from this retailer. I gave him a smile said "thank you for showing me around" and walked out. Overall the associate seemed annoyed, disinterested and didn't have a love or understanding of what makes many of these watches so special. I knew if I bought from here it would've just been a transaction and the associate would've gotten commission despite offering an unpleasant experience. I decided to wait till I got back to Chicago from my work trip to visit my Omega boutique where I knew they would give me not just a watch but a pleasant shopping experience. It's a tragedy when someone purchases a luxury item without getting a luxury experience, it takes so much away from what you're paying for. read more

Even though there weren't any sport models available (just ladies watches) , we chatted about the market and what other brands the store had to offer. Came in to have my Rolex watch resized. The guy that did it scratched it up as you can see in the attached pic. The watch was in pristine condition before I brought it in as it was brand new and never worn before. I didn't even wear it before I brought it in. Highly recommend resizing your watches yourself. Just need to buy the proper screwdriver and a watch holder. Watch a Youtube video and you're good. I resized on another new watch I recently bought and not a single scratch was made.
