This is the second time he has worked through a complex project for our family and I don't think I would ever contact another handyman when I am needing one. He is a total PRO; an exceptionally skilled craftsman, he's efficient, dedicated, communicative, prompt, responsible, attentive. He is an extraordinarily gifted problem solver and makes sure to carefully think everything through, explain his approach clearly and confirm his customers understand what he plans to do and why. Although he is generally quite reserved and quiet, he will ask thoughtful, detailed questions when he has them, and is always prepared to answer any you might have. And although he's not going to chat your ear off, he is a very kind and amiable guy once you get him talking (funny, too). It is obvious when you meet him that he is an honest, trustworthy and honorable man. As others have mentioned, he is very meticulous and attentive to details, but I have nonetheless found him to be an efficient and highly-focused worker, even when projects' and schedules' complexities required odd-hours and multiple days. My bathroom remodel was left uncompleted, so I hired Alexi for all the remaining odds and ends. Not only did he get EVERYTHING done, he went above and beyond for me. In one day, he finished all of these tasks: - Finished patching all the damaged drywall and sanded everything - Painted walls and ceiling - Trimmed door to clear higher floor and mats and installed it - Fixed door jamb so that it could close fully and lock (something that has been a problem since I bought the house, also something I didn't even ask for) - Installed matching transition piece on the floor between bathroom and hallway - Sealed cracks in grout as well as all tile trim (even showed me how to do it) - Securely installed towel shelf and towel bar - Thoroughly cleaned everything Not only did he show up on time, he stayed late until everything was done.
