After submission to the Clark County Recorder, the documents were denied due to procedural and ownership-structure misunderstandings that should have been anticipated and addressed by a qualified document preparer. When I asked Ms. Singleton to correct the issue, she claimed she was "just a runner," even though her business advertises professional document preparation services. She showed limited understanding of the applicable laws -- particularly NRS 240A (duties of document preparers) and NRS 247.145 (Recorder's authority) -- and repeatedly deflected responsibility instead of providing professional guidance. During our communications, Ms. Singleton made inappropriate and unprofessional comments, including personal remarks such as "I feel so bad for you" and "You have a tendency to hang onto a matter to prove your intelligence." These statements were unnecessary, condescending, and contrary to professional standards expected of a licensed preparer. Only after multiple written requests, formal citation of Nevada statutes, and notice of potential complaints did Ms. Singleton refund my money in two separate Zelle payments. While the refund resolved the financial portion, her behavior, lack of procedural knowledge, and initial refusal to accept accountability demonstrate a pattern inconsistent with the professional standards required under Nevada law.

I found myself reviewing and correcting court documents multiple times before they were submitted. Several motions were filed incorrectly, resulting in the court denying them due to procedural issues. Communication was also a major concern. Responses to emails and requests for updates were often delayed or nonexistent, leaving me uncertain about the status of my case. I felt that I had to repeatedly follow up just to receive basic information about filings and deadlines. Most concerning was that my attorney withdrew from my post-divorce matter while a child custody case was still pending. After initially agreeing to represent me, I was informed that the case had become too COMPLICATED. This left me in a difficult position during an active custody dispute leaving me without representation regarding my son. During court appearances, I did not feel that my attorney was adequately prepared or familiar with the details of my case. This was frustrating and undermined my confidence in the representation I was receiving. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney. Clients deserve timely communication, accurate filings, thorough preparation, and representation that continues through critical stages of their case. Instead of answering our questions or offering guidance, she repeatedly referred us back to a single email that had been sent, even when we were simply calling to clarify the process. If you are dealing with a landlord-tenant issue for the first time, as we were, you need a company that is willing to communicate and provide support. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. After paying for their services, it became nearly impossible to speak with anyone other than this woman, and every interaction left us feeling dismissed and more stressed than before. They relied almost entirely on email instructions and offered little to no assistance beyond that. The reason I initially chose this firm was because the gentleman I spoke with before signing up was professional, informative, and helpful. However, that level of service completely disappeared once payment was made. To make matters worse, they completed our paperwork incorrectly. They entered the wrong amount on our notice, which ultimately cost us over $800, not to mention the additional time, effort, and frustration of having to correct the mistake and change services. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. Poor communication, unprofessional customer service, and costly errors made an already stressful situation much more difficult than it needed to be.
