Recently I have been looking to get a new set of heavy duty specialty tires for my truck. The price for the new tires was 25% less than what costco was offering, and they do the install without charging a fee per tire in addition to the tire cost. Great and honest work! read more

We have a business just south of Blythe. We did business with Alexs Tires for the first time a couple weeks ago. They sold and mounted a tire for our tractor. They were on top of it and had us out of there quickly. Everyone there was professional and ready to deal with. Then yesterday I mounted 5 tires for our jeep but couldn't get the beads to set. Back to Alex's and they took great care of us again. We are happy to have done business with them and will use them going forward. read more

On my way to Arizona I got a flat and was in the middle of the desert. Luckily I was able to make it to Alex's and not only did they take my car in right away, my kids were able to stay in the car with the air on while they jacked it up. Do not go to this tire shop, if you need an alignment it's out dated. This town has way better service, you'll be waisting your time here.

We have our trailer at a RV resort outside of Blythe and needed new tires. We were very happy to find Alex's Tire and the lady I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and pleasant. Alex's tire went directly to our trailer and replace the 4 tires even though we weren't there. They worked directly with the me, the RV resort and got everything taken care of and done for us. I am a very happy customer! Update...I changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. We went out to the river and the tires are a different size then what I ordered over the phone. Also, Alex mobile service guy tightened the tire lugs so tight we couldn't loosen them to re-pack the wheel bearings. I called Alex's tire and they had zero customer service this time. They could careless that we were stuck and couldn't move our trailer anywhere. All they cared about was closing in the next 1 1/2 - 2 hours. They wouldn't drive back out to help and fix the problem and they wouldn't wait for us to get the RV towed there. Bottom line we drove over 8 hours in one day for no reason. We couldn't move our trailer due to Alex's tire. Now were looking at having the RV towed some place else to get it fixed. Very disappointed! read more

Luckily was able to go down the road to Jessie's tire service and received exceptional service and had my tire patched within 10 mins. DO NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Got gas in Blythe and found out that the rental car had a flat. Limped to Alex's and he hooked me up. Fair, honest, good.

It was March 2019. I'd been having problems with my AWD van doing some very bad jerking when I turned right or left while in AWD. One mechanic said I needed some front end work done which I got done. Afterward, I went to Alex's Tires to get an alignment. When I drove off I didn't do a walk around, instead, I just took off down the interstate. However, when I pulled off the interstate and hit my first bigger dip, I heard my wheel hit the fender. So I got out and looked. Wow! One tire was about 2" from the fender, and the other about 5". In addition, when I made turns the jerking in my steering was even worse than before. At first I thought I must need new shocks as well, so forked out the cash for those, but that also didn't take care of the 'gap' problem. When I returned to Alex's Tires they adjusted it so the tires were the same height from the fender, but there was no improvement on the jerking in the steering. I finally got so frustrated that I popped the driveshaft out and drove it that way, which made it more possible to make the turns. I drove like this for six months, over snow-covered mountain passes in RWD, my knuckles white my teeth gritted. Long story short, over time, three additional mechanics later, all told me that I needed a new transfer case, and these three mechanics in a row all lied to me. (One was in Blythe). I ended up getting the transfer case replaced, to the tune of $1,200.00 (a whole summers hard-earned savings) and the problem was still there, nothing changed at all. So I finally found an HONEST mechanic, who figured out that my front end was severely out of alignment, and the camber, castor, and toes were adjusted wrong. I went and got another alignment by someone who knew what they were doing, and just like that, all my problems went away. Alex's tires did a lousy job, whoever did it didn't know what they were doing (or didn't care) and this led to a series of events that put my life at risk, and ended up costing me $1,200 in the unnecessary replacement of the driveshaft and the cost of new front shocks. They weren't the only culprit in this series of events, the world is rife with dishonest, greedy or lazy mechanics, but had they done the job properly, I never would have needed to visit the other mechanics. What I will say is they were very pleasant and nice. I don't know what the circumstances were on those days, but whoever did the work set the stage for even more dishonest mechanics to take advantage of me, a silver-haired woman, who trusted them. Their other reviews are good, perhaps they are good at changing tires, but please, please, DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ALIGNMENTS. I will be paying back that $1,200 for two years to my credit card. Don't let them do this to YOU! read more

Call Alex tire to get some new tires for motor home and lady said she would call us back for quote. Waited two days and called back again and same lady "I will call you back in a second with tire information" waited three days. Decided to go in and asked and the guy in charge sitting on his butt checking his social media and said he couldn't get to it for a week and lady at front desk didn't even greet us with a hello. Very rude and lazy people. Took my business to Jesse tires and got in and got out with new tires in an hour. Go to Jesse tires!!! read more

We were so impressed by Alex and his guys. After being stranded overnight with two shredded race trailer tires we were directed to Alex's by a local waitress. The shop opened promptly at 7 AM. This company appears to have signage up, or advertisements out, that list my personal cell phone number as their business phone number. This has been going on for about 5 years. I get calls in the middle of the night of people who are stranded and are trying to get their tires fixed. In the beginning, I looked up the right phone number for people and gave it to them, as I hated leaving people stranded. I also called Alex's Tire a few times and left them messages about their error on the their signage/advertisements, asking them to please change it to the correct number. Apparently, they did not care to change the signage/advertisements as I continue to get phone calls. So, my strategy has changed and now whenever I get a call looking for Alex's Tire I send people to Joe's Tire down the street. I have had positive feedback from people I have sent to Joe's Tire and Joe's Tire advertises their phone number correctly. Update 07/25/2014: Alex's Tire now seems to have one of their accounts in Collections and how do I know? Because I am getting phone calls from bill collectors trying to get Alex's Tire to pay up. To the owners of Alex's Tire: Please contact Safety Kleen and square up your account with them. I'm tired of getting your phone calls. Update 06/04/15: Well, I'm still getting calls from stranded motorists, but I just keep referring them to Joe's Tires down the street from this business. Happily, it does not appear Alex's Tires is in Collections anymore with their Safety Kleen Account as I have not had calls from their bill collectors lately. One of the people who called in distress lately, looking for tire repair, said that my phone number is actually printed on the window of Alex's Tires. You'd think they'd know their own phone number? Ugh! Oh well, the calls have not been as often lately, so maybe all of the flyers they had posted with my number have finally run out. It'll be sad for Joe's though, as I send them quite a bit of business that was initially intended for Alex's but since they use my phone minutes, they get sent to Joe's :) read more

I drove into their shop with my truck, I had Alex check out my worrn out 35 inch BFGoodwrich mud terrain tires and he agreed that they needed to be replaced. After debating on which brand to order, I decided to go with the pricey 35 Toyo Open Country. Alex said he needed to get them ordered because he did not have them in stock. I offered to pay half now and the other half in 2weeks when they were installed. Alex said just to call back in two weeks when the tires arrived and just pay once the job was done. I called back two weeks later and his secretary had no idea what I was talking about. She spoke with Alex and he also had no idea of the agreed order for the tires and said he needed to order them. I explained to his secretary that I had already taken my truck to him so that he could take the measurements of the tires. I got no where with the secretary and she began to respond with an attitude. If this is a cursor of whats to come once doing businsess with this shop, Im glad It didint go any further. I recieved no apology for the inconvenience and only recieved poor customer service by the female on the phone. I basically wasted 2weeks without a truck to drive with. read more
