A must do in Park City! If you're touristing already, this is a FREE experience. Downstairs is the local ski museum and upstairs is the 2002 Olympic museum. Don't forget to hit up both museum sections. Downstairs there is a gallery of ski fashion over the years, local signs, a hall to local notable people, simulators for sports (for an extra fee), a snow fall meter of the local mountains, lots of skis, medals and cups from Engen's wins, and then a portion on avalanches. Before you head upstairs where are outfits from local Olympic athletes from 2022. Upstairs is memorabilia from the Salt Lake games in 2002. You will see athlete outfits, volunteer outerwear, and wear and puppets from the opening ceremonies. You can hold a torch from the games. Another cool item is a the pin collection from the games. If you're interested in going further into the Olympic Park, take the tour. There is a fee but this is one of the coolest things you can do to see the entire Utah Olympic Park hill.

Wow! What a treasure... Kaaren's review in 2013 is still…read moreapplicable 10 years later. What a great thing!!! Tickets can be purchased online at the website. The venue at the library/high school had plenty of parking, & we followed a couple locals in since they knew where they were going...however signs were also posted. Raffle tickets are still handed out. Bring your own bowl for a popcorn discount is still part of the experience. There is a membership available & Sundance Film Festival preparations were announced. Sounds so fun!! The featured films look really good. We saw; Killers of the Flower Moon and it presented a lot to discuss after! The best kind... For the second time in a day, we kinda wished we weren't just in Utah for vacation! Definitely GO! ...

after NUMEROUS visits…read more i love this film series. it is a fun and inexpensive ($7 for adults) escape from salt lake city. the perfect pre or post dinner activity in park city - snow or shine. screenings of, primarily, indie films and documentaries take place most every thursday, friday and saturday evenings at the park city municipal library. tickets are sold at the door. save your ticket stub for the prize drawing at the beginning of each movie. you can win anything from coffee mugs and gift certificates (my favorite, but i've never won) to t-shirts and massage oils (i've never won, period). they do have a concession stand and it is quite extensive. feel free to popcorn, or sugar yourself up! overall: A it's local. it's a gathering of great people. good vibes all around.
