The bagels were just okay. They were certainly fresh (soft and very warm), but the bagels and anything in the bagels were very flavorless and desperately needed some salt. The staff were very friendly, efficient and the prices were reasonable though. Being so close to NYC seeking out better options is a must. Kind of disappointing because you see the bagels being freshly boiled in the back, so it's a shame they didn't have much of a taste. But they do have quite an extensive menu so there might be other things worth coming for.

Grabbed a Jersey Meat (I don't care if you call it pork roll or Taylor ham so I'm avoiding the argument) Egg and Cheese from Alfa Bagel. I normally get these on a hard roll (Kaiser) but since this is a bagel spot and I've heard the bagels are good, I went with an egg bagel. The woman who helped me was very friendly, and I chose to take the sandwich outside to the benches because it was a nice day. Came out to just over $6 and this spot is cash only. The bagel was solid for this area, normally this far west of North Jersey/NYC the bagels are not great but I enjoyed this. Hit it with a little butter and seemed very lightly grilled. Sandwich had 3 slices of the biggest argument meat ever with what I believe to be one egg (could have been two small eggs) and I'd guess two slices of American. I chose to go no SPK as I usually do with these sandwiches. The meat is salty enough and I personally feel ketchup doesn't allow you to taste all the other flavors. I would get this again but I'd be more interested in trying something else from here. This wouldn't crack a top 5 list for me or anything but it was definitely a good sandwich. Stopped in on a rainy Thursday (11/21/24) afternoon around 2.30 in the mood for a good bagel. Ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese and lox spread. My craving was fulfilled: bagel fluffy inside and toasty outside with plenty of spread. Very friendly service, great value ($4.74), excellent bagel. Parking in its own lot in front. On route 10, but look quick; it's tucked into its own little niche. Nice music playing. Clean. I was very happy. Highly recommended.

Yes, the bagels are prob the best in the area. Yes, the parking is terrible. Yes, the lines are long but move fast. Service was speedy. I've only had the bagels here. They are are on the larger size and not dense. They are soft and airy and came warm. It's too far for a regular visit, but I stop in when I'm in the area...

Alfa is low key but awesome. Been here twice and I'm down for coming back again even though it's not close. First time I had an everything with pastrami egg and cheese. The bagel was big and chewy with plenty of seeds and they gave an ample portion of PEC. My girls had BEC. And THEC which they enjoyed. Went back today fir a quick salt bagel with cream cheese and it was delicious. People here hustle and are nice so put $$ in tip jar. Dry busy but line moves fast.

Very good bagels, excellent TAC, only downside is it's cash only- which does not effect the rating. Highly recommended for breakfast.

There is a full bar which is huge and can make any drink you wish. They have some excellent specialty cocktails. We ordered the guacamole and chips before ordering delicious entrees. We also got the corn and split it so we had room for dinner. I had the rib eye special with a chimichurri sauce, spinach mashed potatoes, and veggies. The steak was perfectly medium rare and the sauce was perfection. I never had spinach mash before but felt good about getting some extra iron in my carbs. I didn't love the zucchini, (weird taste) but the other veggies were fine. My friend picked the burger and fries to satisfy their beef craving. The fries were crispy and perfect while my friend said her burger was excellent. Other friend went for the salmon and veggies, she enjoyed it and had to bring some home because it was a big serving. Last friend got the chicken rice bowl special and opted for grilled chicken instead of fried. They were super accommodating about making changes so we had exactly what we wanted. Again, big portion so she is excited to have lunch tomorrow. The music is very lively and the service is excellent. Be sure to stop in but do make reservations. We decided to grab dessert and had the lemon raspberry cake plus some of the homemade sorbet. One cappuccino and a cup of tea made us all happy and we enjoyed a nice leisurely meal. My friends had not been here before and we all plan on coming back soon. There was valet parking, so be aware and bring some cash for tips if you are so inclined.

This place is not prepared for more then 2 tables. took 30 minutes to get our drinks, 45 minutes to get our food. Hamburgers and Tacos. not a complicated order. 45 minutes to wait for food and they got my order wrong. I ordered Fish Tacos, saw the waitress (bar tender) write it down. Not sure how it translated to a salad??? So had to send it back and wait 20 more minutes to get my "Fish Tacos" (came out as "Shrimp Tacos"). Had to get it to go since it was over and hour and we had to get back to work. Party of 5, and I had to watch everyone eat and then I had to carry my lunch in a to go bag and eat it when I got back to the office. I kow there is good reviews listed but that must obviously be when the are fully staffed at night. Their staff today 6/16/2026. One server, Bartender, and chef. That is very poor management. multiple parties walked in while we were sitting and watch them take 15 to 20 minutes to be seated. This was the 3rd time we tried this place for lunch and it always takes 30 to 45 minutes to get food. Will be the last and we always tell our Corporate coworkers to NOT go there becuse it take way to long. You can go to Reno's right down the street with 10 people and each lunch with in an hour. Sad thing is, like I said, the food is actually pretty good

We did sit at the bar today which dominated a large section of the place, has room to sit dozens and as expected from a sports bar, tvs and big screens all around. We came there wasn't a game, so we were pleased to listen to good music as we sat in the corner of the bar. We only sampled a small portion of the menu as we only had 40 minutes, but the fish and chips were spot on, crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, came straight from the fryer without feeling overly greasy. The fries were delicious, and the burger was respectable We def plan to come by next time we need to pass time waiting for our drummer boy.

The waitress came over right away and we ordered two margaritas. They came in 10 minutes and they were very watered down. She never gave us straws and the ice was in chunks not smooth ice for a frozen drink. Not worth it for $15 each My wife ordered beer battered shrimp and I ordered the Snow crab bucket for $50. Dinner came in about 20 minutes. The Shrimp were beer battered but the tails still remained and the batter was not cooked. Very battery. My crab bucket included 2 clusters. 6 small pieces of potato, corn on the cob and all covered in some potato/ carrot kind of sauce. Remember- I have use my hands to crack the crab legs, so all the sauce was all over me. This was frustrating. The crab was fine once I got through it but the potatoes were undone. The common the cob was very good. All considered! I gave the place a 2 and I won't be back unless I go for beers and to watch a game. Choose another place for dinner as there are many choices in the area.
