    Lakeside latte
    Diana M.

Came here on a Sunday for lunch with my girlfriends and we had an amazing time. The place itself is so cute and it's right next to the lake. I got the Lakeside latte and it was delicious and came in a beautiful cup. We shared the empanadas which were yummy. I got the Healthy bowl, which was absolutely delicious. You could tell that the ingredients are very fresh. We shared the French toast with custard as a dessert, and it was the best decision ever because it was amazing. They didn't kick us out even though we stayed a little longer to chat, which was very nice. I highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing brunch at Indian Lake Bistro! Jesus and his crew took the best care of us and cooked up some super delicious menu items! It's literally right by Indian Lake, which provides a beautiful and relaxed ambiance, giving the place true lake vibes. It's quaint, cozy, and somewhere we definitely want to go back to! We absolutely loved the empanadas, El Presidente (chorizo breakfast sandwich), and the lattes. They serve local Lake Born Coffee (Denville) which is also a huge plus! Steak Club Sandwich

Cute little place next to the lake. The steak club sandwich was tasty with fresh bread and fries were crispy. The server was nice and the restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays.

"Hearty Breakfast." Delicious and hot. Served with hot coffee and a gorgeous view of the lake!

We have ordered from Indian Lake Bistro through Doordash forever, but today we ate in for the first time and holy cow, the food was fantastic from delivery, but dining in was absolutely next level! This place is in such an unassuming spot that you could easily miss it, but don't! It's right across from Indian Lake diving beach which makes for a beautiful view. Imagine all your traditional breakfast and lunch dishes with a Latin twist! My wife ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup and both were out of this world. The tomato soup was so incredibly savory and the grilled cheese was delectable with a nice crunch. I ordered the skirt steak with eggs (yes, you read that right) which came with avocados, beans, rice, and this delicious garlic salsa that they make in house. Everything was cooked to perfection. On top of all of that, the staff and owners are so incredibly warm and welcoming and make the food with such a passion that comes through so clearly in every dish. I totally recommend you make it a point to stop in.

On the evening of Small Business Saturday, I decided to pay Indian Lake Bistro, American & Latin Cuisine a visit for an evening dinner. This is yet another place that many have raved about and its been on my radar for a while. I ordered three chicken empanadas to start of my meal and requested the hot sauce on the side. The empanadas were perfectly sized for an appatizer and were tasty, especially with the sauce on the side. For my main course, I ordered the Surf and Turf (flavorful combination of grilled skirt steak and shrimp, fried yuca, and a mix of rice and beans) The meal was phenomenal and the combination of the skirt steak, shrimp, rice and beans, and yuca made for a really tasty meal. I don't ever recall eating a yuca and will say it was tasty. Indian Lake Bistro may be a bit off the beaten path and not a place you would expect a restuarnt. Despite the location, the food was really good and I was glad the reviews turned out to be true. Located at 65 Indian Road, it is not to far from the Acme on Route 53. I was able to easily find a parking spot and picking up my meal was a breeze. While I did takeout this evening, a future visit may very well include bringing a bottle of wine to accompany my meal. In ordered online and the menu platform was easy to navigate with ease. I ordered online and the meal was ready as promised. When I got home, the meal was still warm and I quickly dug in after taking a few pictures and transferring it out of the aluminum tray in which it was served. All those who raved about this hidden gem were spot on. Denville is fortunate to have so many great places to eat and Indian Lake Bistro is definitely one to add to your list of places to visit.

Huevos rancheros with a side of toast...

Very nice place! Very clean, food was excellent. We got to meet the owner, Jesus, who was very friendly and has very creative and ambitious ideas for the restaurant. I'm excited to return. Definitely a place I can see becoming my go-to local place!

According to my son this was the best chicken tenders ever.

Every new item I choose on the menu it seems to surprise me with how delicious it is. The food here is just a touch different, not exotic just hearty and home made like. Best breakfast and lunch around, it's so good my kids love it, and it's quality food.

Whether I'm working or attending a function, the Manor has always met my expectations. With experience at more than a hundred events, I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with Birchwood Manor. I'm heading there today!

We fell in love with Birchwood Manor the first time we visited 2 years ago as the first person we…read moremet with was Michael Marino, who was so warm and welcoming from the beginning. Since then, we've worked with Michael on planning our wedding and he was so great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, super energetic and full of positive energy throughout the planning, and very informative. We wanted our dogs in the ceremony a lower guest minimum for fear that less people at the time would attend due to covid and Michael quickly accommodated our requests, no questions asked! Our wedding was 10/14/23 and Farrell was our maitre'd. After getting home, my matron of honor, brother in law and mom had nothing but AMAZING things to say about Farrell. According to my mom, Farrell saw my grandpa had trouble with his boutonniere and she, without us asking, started helping him and all the other groomsmen clip them on. She worked with my husband on getting a little last-minute seating mishap resolved (we had some unplanned guests who had initially rsvp'd no and showed up). She was so good with children as our flower girl and flower boy/ring bearer were 4 and 7 and she interacted with them and helped show them what to do at the ceremony. Our day of coordinator unfortunately had an emergency and was not there part of the wedding but Farrell really took over and checked in on us constantly and took charge of the day. My matron of honor said Farrell was so nice and reliable and amazing at her job. Going back to the wedding, our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, down to the chandeliers in the ballroom. Our wedding was unfortunately outdoors but Birchwood was so accommodating with allowing us to use the Grand Ballroom for the ceremony as the reception was already set up elsewhere. We upgraded the cocktail hour to deluxe and with both my husband and I being from Chinese families with high expectations in regards to seafood, the lobster tails were gone instantly as our guests loved them so much. People raved about how good the cocktail hour was, including the carving station and shrimp scampi station. The ice sculpture was a beautiful and elegant touch. All in all, we and our guests had nothing but an amazing time at Birchwood. We have nothing but positive experiences through our 2 years of wedding planning. Thank you Michael and Farrell and Birchwood Manor for helping us plan our wedding and make our wedding day visions really come to life!

I love to see the American flag outside before walking up the stairs and just all the details of the decor and the warm and professional staff to welcome you is very special. The presentation is also very special. I went to a rehearsal dinner for our friends wedding on Friday, July 24, 2026. I do wish we knew the name of the waitress the evening of the rehearsal dinner because she was so calm, caring, efficient. The wooden decor here is so cozy and the food was made very well and it was fresh. During this particular visit, I enjoyed the salmon and others really raved about the beef dish they ordered. We loved it so much we went back after the rehearsal dinner for another evening. I can now proudly say that I know what it is like to dine here for a special occasion and for a date night. My favorite so far is the clam chowder. It is so delicious and one of the best I have had in a long time. The lobster rolls are very beautiful as well - lobster cooked perfectly and a great amount of seasoning for the fries and the lobster roll. One suggestion I would have is to have the lobster roll to be served with a tiny side salad with the french fries. I feel this would elevate the experience. They have an extensive drink menu and some beautiful craft cocktails. During the event, I was able to see all the different craft cocktails they ordered and they appeared to be exquisite. I enjoyed a nice glass of white wine and felt this paired with my dinner well. The banana bread is also very delicious and served with a lovely custard (I am not usually a fan of all custards). The banana bread, custard and vanilla ice cream was definitely a must try. If you go to Tabor Tavern, ask for Rolyn! Pure hospitality, wonderful energy, and took such good care of us. He kept checking in and provided a five star service but also feeling like a cozy family member checking in on you - quietly and calmly. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to returning with family, friends and date night. I wish the restaurant was a little closer and I am also excited to try the sister restaurants. God bless you all!
