Eh... it's ok. Nothing amazing. Medium sized bagel. Good for take out. Not great for eating in. So many better shops in my humble opinion.

I've had Time For A Bagel bookmarked for quite a while. Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area and had a chance to pick up bagels there for lunch. The store is located on Speedwell Avenue right in the heart of Morris Plains. I ordered a Russian Pumpernickel with butter and my wife had a plain with cream cheese. The bagels were a bit different in that they were smaller and more dense than usual, but they were fine. There's a huge cream cheese selection here. There are tables inside and outside. Plenty of parking in the area. Good spot to pick up bagels if you're in the area.

Everything is always delicious. But Steve's Cole slaw and Health salad stand out as fresh, delicious compliments to his perfect bagels. And the whitefish salad is still the best ever, even bette than Russ and Daughters!

These bagels are good! My friends raved about this place so I had to try when we were in the area. They are not too dense on the inside and have a nice crispness to them. I'm not sure how else to explain. My husband said there was a line. He was chatting with someone and told them it was his first visit. They suggested also getting the Cinnabon and crumb cake. Both were great. Needless to say, I'm glad they're a bit further from our house so we can't visit too frequently. lol

We went to NJ for a real NJ bagel and everyone told us to come here. This place seems authentic to me, it was packed, and the bagels were great. Morris plains was a cute town too. I not only would come back - I will come back tomorrow morning for a bagel and a coffee.

Dozen Bagels (Plain, Egg, Everything, Garlic, Blueberry)

Ordered: Dozen Bagels (Plain, Egg, Everything, Garlic, Blueberry) ($15) A dozen comes with 13 bagels. Although the bagels here were smaller than most bagels, they were still pretty good in terms of flavor and texture. Decently fluffy and slightly chewy. Although the garlic bagels had plenty of garlic, the everything bagels were pretty bare and didn't really have much seasoning on them. Good bagels, but I've had better. Would recommend if you're in the area!

The real hometown hero. Best bagels, I always order a dozen to freeze and bring back home to Philly (where bagels are trash). If you're new, obviously go for the classic THECSPK (Taylor ham, egg, cheese, salt pepper ketchup) on an egg. If they happen to have egg everythings (usually sold out in less than 30 min), do one of those with their lox spread. Also friendliest and most efficient service. No frills, 10$ cash minimum, amazing bagels. It's time.

So sick and tired of so many deli's skimping on food - TEC - two tiny pieces of Taylor ham and one egg?

A friend recommended me to come here on my way to the Newark Airport. I got an everything with lox with every fixing. It was a LOT of lox. The bagel had a nice chew. Say less and go eat bagels :p

Nice drink selection (not pictured: multiple kinds of Tropicana juices and milks)

This is the ultimate bagel spot in the area. It has everything. Usually bagel places have some of the following items, but not all. For example, some bagel places have bagels, but don't do breakfast sandwiches. But this place is a one stop shop. Let's review: *great quality bagel selection with unique flavors (examples: sun dried tomato, unicorn, chocolate chip, mini bagels, flagels, super cinn raisin, bialys) *they have other baked goods such as cinn buns (which are amazing), cookies, muffins *they have a nice selection of spreads (a popular one is the lox cream cheese spread) *they do breakfast sandwiches *they have a good drink selection (Gatorades, milks, multiple Tropicana juices, waters, soda, vitamin waters, Snapples, Joe Teas, Dr. Brown's) *they open at 5 every day (so most people can get a bagel before work) *they offer other food (such as omelettes, deli sandwiches, tuna/chicken salads, mac salads *they do catering *everyone is nice and service is quick (don't be nervous when you see a long line, it's gonna move quickly) *they have a decent amount of seating if you wanna hang around *they offer coffee (which is actually pretty decent for bagel place coffee) *added bonus: they have merch! I honestly may need to get a shirt at some point. Like COME ON. I am lucky to live near this place. Today I got a classic: Taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel, SPK. Bagel is a good size, nice chew, tastes fresh. Good amount of everything topping on the bagel. Good amount of Taylor ham that was slightly crispy. Had a cheese pull. Egg was ever so slightly oozy (which is to my liking). Good amount of SPK. Bagel was nice and warm when I opened the foil (such a comforting feeling). Love Tfab!

I would think so but I'm not 100% sure. You could probably call and ask them.

With experience at more than a hundred events, I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with Birchwood Manor. I'm heading there today!

We fell in love with Birchwood Manor the first time we visited 2 years ago as the first person we…read moremet with was Michael Marino, who was so warm and welcoming from the beginning. Since then, we've worked with Michael on planning our wedding and he was so great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, super energetic and full of positive energy throughout the planning, and very informative. We wanted our dogs in the ceremony a lower guest minimum for fear that less people at the time would attend due to covid and Michael quickly accommodated our requests, no questions asked! Our wedding was 10/14/23 and Farrell was our maitre'd. After getting home, my matron of honor, brother in law and mom had nothing but AMAZING things to say about Farrell. According to my mom, Farrell saw my grandpa had trouble with his boutonniere and she, without us asking, started helping him and all the other groomsmen clip them on. She worked with my husband on getting a little last-minute seating mishap resolved (we had some unplanned guests who had initially rsvp'd no and showed up). She was so good with children as our flower girl and flower boy/ring bearer were 4 and 7 and she interacted with them and helped show them what to do at the ceremony. Our day of coordinator unfortunately had an emergency and was not there part of the wedding but Farrell really took over and checked in on us constantly and took charge of the day. My matron of honor said Farrell was so nice and reliable and amazing at her job. Going back to the wedding, our guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, down to the chandeliers in the ballroom. Our wedding was unfortunately outdoors but Birchwood was so accommodating with allowing us to use the Grand Ballroom for the ceremony as the reception was already set up elsewhere. We upgraded the cocktail hour to deluxe and with both my husband and I being from Chinese families with high expectations in regards to seafood, the lobster tails were gone instantly as our guests loved them so much. People raved about how good the cocktail hour was, including the carving station and shrimp scampi station. The ice sculpture was a beautiful and elegant touch. All in all, we and our guests had nothing but an amazing time at Birchwood. We have nothing but positive experiences through our 2 years of wedding planning. Thank you Michael and Farrell and Birchwood Manor for helping us plan our wedding and make our wedding day visions really come to life!

The regular menu stays the same, which I love, but they always add a holiday or seasonal menu with extra food and drink options--best of both worlds. I've never had anything here that wasn't good. The service is consistently great too. It does get very busy, so I recommend joining the wait line before you go--once you arrive, just check in at the desk and they'll give you a good idea of the wait and how many parties are ahead of you. Pro tip: anything on the menu with "hash" in the name--get it. The Belgian waffle is fluffy, lightly sweet, and just a little crunchy, especially with the warm syrup and butter. The Million Dollar Bacon is easily in my top three menu items--don't skip it. This location is in a busy shopping complex, but there's always plenty of parking. The current seasonal specialties- tres leches french toast - the toast was good, but the tres leches made me want syrup - a lot more syrup- as it made it drier even with the whipped cream and strawberries. The chimi steak was too dry (they didn't ask us how anyone wanted it done... so not the best), though the hash was plenty of potatoes and the egg was done right with the chimi churri sauce a nice touch across. They were of the potato variety. Since they were made to order, they came out piping hot. My thoughts on each are below. The temperature really made a difference as I tried a few bites after they cooled down and it was not the same. All of the donuts were appropriate in size and somehow appeared very light. I wonder if that was attributed to the potato variety. I just could not believe how much the hot temperature made a difference in all four. Original Cinnamon Sugar - This was very good with plenty of sugar present. Raspberry Jam - There was a ton of raspberry jam here and it was great.
