yesterday I called an ordered an XL chicken bacon ranh, after the pizza was delivered. after a couple of us were eating the pizza we noticed that we can not taste any ranch at all. I called over to Alfanos spoke with someone there not sure who it was as no name was provided, I advised them that there was 3 people eating off this XL pizza and we can't taste any ranch. The employee tells me that she spoke with them cook and that they put ranch on the pizza. I can defiantly assure you there was no ranch!!! the lady was super rude about it and not helpful to any solution. I give this place ZERO Stars because I cant post this unless I add a star but this place deserves it NOT! They barely give you any sausage on pizza. The crust is like chewing on the cardboard box it came in. I bet if they put cheese and toppings on the box it came in it would've been better. I cant believe that people eat this stuff. This was by far one of the worst restaurants we have been to in years. We were the only ones in there and we were getting looked at by the people that work there like we shouldn't be there. Finally a guy came up with a black hoodie on with the hood on and a toothpick hanging out of his mouth to take our order. I wanted to bail but hubby wanted to see how the pizza was. The place was not the cleanest by far, no silverware on the table nor was none offered. No cheese or red pepper flakes at the table either. Some guy that works there was vaping and others were playing grab ass. No one ever came back to see if we needed anything. Had to go ask for a to go box and also ask for the check. Prices seem reasonable. The town is depressing a bit, appears to be home of a walmart distribution center, several store fronts totally vacant. Place is more of a carryout than an eat in, but apparently a karaoke place, though that part is covered in paperwork. "Waiter" was playing video poker when we came in, but can't blame him, what else is there to do in this town at 2:20 in the afternoon. For some bizarre reason you can get tacos here. My son ordered a BLT basket. My daughter and I are splitting a chix Parma sub and moz stix. Canned mushrooms on sub. All in all not bad for what you expect. Final bill $16. I ordered a half gallon of spaghetti for delivery (Family meal deal). When the order arrived, I paid the driver, he left and I opened the bag and then the container only to find that the container was only a quarter full. Its a 2qt container. I called Alfanos back and was told not to touch the food and they would send a replacement and hour or two later. I then asked for my money back and the woman said fine and hung up on me as I was asking how long that would take. An hour later I called back asking where my refund was and was told I could either accept a discount on my next order (I had already decided I wouldn't order from them again) or nothing. They are extremely rude. There was a woman in the background yelling profanities towards me while the phone person was laughing. It was a pretty messed up experience. The waitress told us they tend to oversize, and she's right! This pizza was way more than enough for my wife and me. We also ordered the fried pickles and they were great! We took a chance on this place in spite of the poor reviews. Those were mainly about delivery issues, so we didn't worry about them too much. So, good pizza, and we would not hesitate to return. I hate to admit it, but the Macaroni and Cheese bites were awesome. That being said, the customer service was the worst I have ever seen. We were in town for a friend's wedding and this is the place that the hotel suggested we order from, so we did. We called at 12:15 AM to place our order. An hour later we called to ask if we could get an estimate on how long it was going to take. The woman that answered the phone (very rudely) and was mumbling the whole time so my fiance couldn't understand her, a friend of ours who was getting the food with us took the phone and asked her to repeat herself and she still mumbled, so he just said thanks goodbye. I took the phone into a quieter area of the lobby and tried to call back. I apologized for calling back so soon, and I explained that the lobby was loud and that no one could hear what she had said, I then asked again for an estimate and I got a mumbled response, I asked her to repeat herself and she no. She said we had already called and she wasn't telling me again. I told her again that it had been loud and that we just wanted to know if we were waiting 10 minutes, an hour, etc. She finally says "25" and hangs up. I told the group this, and we decided to cancel, as we didn't want to wait almost 2 hours for food. I called, and a different girl answered. I apologized for being a bother and asked them to cancel the order. She said it had just left. I told her I had called about 90 seconds earlier and was told 25 minutes...why hadn't they just told me it was about to leave? She insisted it had just happened. So apparently, it takes 2 hours to get your food but in 90 seconds a delivery driver can come in, get the order and address, get the food packed and ready and then leave again?? We waited another 35 minutes (Alfano's is 15 minutes away from the hotel) and we called and told them to cancel, we were not paying because we had waited over 2 hours and we were going to bed. The response? "Ok, I'm just going to call the police then, you're going to pay for this food." I'm happy we don't live here so that we never have to deal with this place EVER agin. read more

I'm going to up this review two more stars because the quality of the pizza has gotten better since the last time I wrote a review. I love their pizza. I really do but it pisses me off when they are super busy or whatever and it takes forever to get one pizza delivered. Their pizza is my favorite out of all other pizza places though and that is why I keep coming back. I am addicted to it. I have not had any issues with them lately. I've stopped ordering from La Grottos though because their pizza has gotten bad lately. I hate it when places get new cooks. For now though I have been appeased by the service and quality of Alfano's pizza even though my dad and brother say they make their pizzas smaller than they used to. Their other food is good too. Traveling and hungry there was an ad for this place at our hotel. It's not a chain restaurant and small businesses need support; so, we went ahead and ordered pizza, mozzarella sticks with sauce, and a slice of original cheesecake. They delivered to our room which was really nice. Aside from that, mediocre food. There was no sauce for the mozzarella sticks (despite menu said with sauce & I requested it), the pizza had a funky taste we can't explain (it left a thick film in the mouth), and the cheesecake was frozen and wrapped in a plastic bag inside a typical styrofoam container. A plastic bag like when I buy bulk at WinCo. No utensils provided either, but that didn't matter since the cheesecake was frozen. I just wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Its a great place if you want to be entertained while you eat. The constant yelling and screaming coming from the kitchen from one of the owners is absolutely ridiculous.
