I struck luck when I asked my neighbor for a referral and she recommended Alfredo Electric. Upon contacting Alfredo Electric via Yelp, I received a response right away from Luis for a visit to receive a free estimate at my new home in Simi Valley. I was very impressed with the turn-around time and the professional communication I received. Everything from the beginning of contact with Luis to the end of the job was superb! I am so happy and impressed with the work Luis and his staff performed in one day. Throughout the process, Luis was excellent in communicating via text and phone call. As a new homeowner, I was in need of recessed lighting in my living room and master bedroom, which are high vaulted ceilings. I wanted to have 6 LED lights in my living room and 4 in my master bedroom. I also needed an exhaust fan installed in two bathrooms. Instead of standard switches, I asked him to install Lutron dimmer switches. I asked him to remove an old exhaust fan and replace it with a new Panasonic fan. I also needed him to install a switch to turn on one of the exhaust fans since I already had a switch for the other bathroom. I also asked him to add 4 interior outlets, as well as 3 exterior outlets. Luis and his team did it all and with great precision and care. I have to say that the recessed lighting was not easy as the high vaulted ceiling is definitely a challenge, and they met the challenge because the lights look great and are lined up very accurately with each other. Every detail was thought of in many ways. I appreciated the professional care Luis and his staff demonstrated in bringing the shoe covers (booties) to enter my home. I was so impressed that they were able to do all the work in one day. Yes, one day! It was such a big surprise since I thought it would take more time. They just got right to it and you can clearly tell that Luis and his staff are very meticulous and care about the details. I appreciated how Luis asked me to verify details to make sure I am a satisfied customer. I do want to add that I appreciated that Luis and his staff were helpful in cleaning up all the materials (boxes, wires, etc.) so everything was spotless and looked clean when they left my home. Luis was absolutely an excellent professional electrician! My late father was an electrician for over 30 years so I have enormous respect for this trade, and Luis and his team surpassed my expectations and made me feel very comfortable and at ease with the electrical work they accomplished. Trusting an electrician is very important and Luis charged a fair and reasonable rate for the work completed. I felt that he had my best interests in mind. For example, I asked him for his opinion of brands for the exhaust fan since I was unsure which brand I wanted. His recommendation allowed me to learn more and make an informed decision, and I ultimately chose a Panasonic Whisper exhaust fan. I highly recommend Alfredo Electric for all your electrical needs! I plan to hire him for additional work for my home, and definitely will refer him to others as my neighbor did for me! Tried Alfredo Electric after putting out a Yelp Project review. Alfredo was very responsive and included a quote immediately. The project seemed simple enough, a GFCI installation in a bathroom for a bidet installation. Home is 1960s, single story. Alfredo showed up same day, at the exact time he said he would. He started work immediately. He had to work in the attic with blown-in insulation. The job required some drywall access holes to complete wiring. Most electricians do not patch their work but, Alfredo patched to rough finish! Unfortunately, during the install, another circuit tied to the project went out. Alfredo trouble shooted the circuit but, had time to return next day. Arrived promptly early morning, found a faulty GFCI and replaced it. He kept to his original quote price and just added the new GFCI cost. He also cleaned up every spec of dust. Bottom Line - very professional, prompt, honest, fair.
