Our cooler broke and the soonest they could replace it was 2 weeks, despite our location is highly central to a large population center. Terrible service. When they brought another one, they just dropped it in the lobby. We plug it in and the water is not cold at all. Waited 24 hours (even though it's supposed to be instant), still nothing. I send them an email over a week ago and nothing. We are in a situation where, believe it or not, we don't have trustworthy potable water. So we had to purchase a small fridge and bottled water to get by. In the meantime, I see their trucks in the area almost daily! We are now working on an in-house solution so we can "fire them," immediately! read more

I knew the driver and had a reliable delivery schedule Since the recent change, I have not received delivery and have been out of water for weeks. We had issues with our last water delivery service and looked for a new one - upon talking to our building management, we were told a couple other companies in our complex used this company so I called and was able to set up service rather easily. Then the attempts to get them to show up started. One, no show. Two, no show. Three times. Never showed up. Never called, never texted, nothing. Each time we'd call to get an update on when they would arrive the guy would say "I'll text you shortly" and the text never came. Not once. Not the remotest of courtesy or ounce of responsibility with this company. The third time when this awful company never showed up, we called the office and they said that the deliver guy had let them know he wasn't coming here, but again, no people let us know. I mean, why let us know? We're only the ones paying the bill. That was that. We nipped that in bud right away. If they can't show up to set up the dispenser and deliver water and don't show three times and can't even show the most basic courtesy of letting us know - how bad is the regular service? I can only imagine them never showing up and leaving us hanging without any water - but I'm sure the bill comes through on time every time. Best thing out of this is we ended up finding a cheaper and more responsible company and got set up right away without issue. I don't get it at all, we're a responsible company that pays their bills on time and this should have been the easiest set up for Alhambra ever. Also note, the person (Yesenia Reed) I set the service with, I emailed her NUMOROUS times after we were set letting her know we were having issues getting the company to actually show up here - she never once responded. Not once. It shows you that they are aware of how awful their actual service is. She did her part getting it set up, let someone else worry about how awful the actual service is. If this was an anomaly, Yesenia would have responded right away and said she was going to look into it or call someone. Instead, she ignored every email I sent. That should tell you everything you need to know about how awful this service is. And the great thing is we talked to other companies in our complex who have Alhambra, they did say there were issues with them and we gave them the info for the company we did get and now they are going to drop Alhambra as well. So in the long run, ignoring us and not showing up three times ended up costing this awful company thousands of dollars. Don't take it from me - check the other reviews here. Rarely do you see a company with this many reviews and that low a rating. That should tell you everything. Avoid this one like the plague. I'd be happy to give a good suggestion (of the good company we went with) to anyone who wants it. Note: I got a response below from their manager where she says "feel free to contact us if you need any other assistance." Just a stock response she applies to all the comments here. She clearly didn't even read what I wrote. Literally just responded to a scathing review with a stock response. In what universe would I "contact you for service" for a "service" I don't have. We don't have an "account number" since we never got the actual service. If the person actually read my review here her response would be a little different. I had been trying to get water for a month and my empty bottles picked up with NO LUCK! My order would keep getting pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed as I called and called every time with their "guarentee" they would be out on the next day. Putting my empty bottles on my porch back in my house back on porch and back in. Hold times exceeding 1 hour every time as well. One of those hold times at the end of the day on a Friday, I was able to research a local company, contact them and they called me MONDAY MORNING to set up my account and I had water by Thursday of that week. I have since CANCELLED my account with Primo and I have been trying to get NINE - 5 Gallon water jugs picked up from my home so I can get my deposit back. I have talked to multiple managers. I have been with the company for 11 years and it's unfortunate how horrible they have become to work with. read more

So I went outside, thinking maybe he left it in the wrong place. NOPE. Nothing. So, furious, I called customer service. She tried to tell me they delivered and she could see the bottles of water outside my door. THEN WHY ARE THE EMPTIES STILL THERE?? Couldnt answer that one . So she tells me shes sorry, and they wont charge me. Can ya guess what happened next? THEY CHARGED ME 80 bucks for water they never delivered. I called again! At this point, I was done. I called, couldnt get through. So I sent about 20 emails saying get your crap out of my house, you are fired. No response. So I called again. Finally got someone. I told her my bank reversed her invoice, and I wanted them to come get their stuff. Okay fine. Scheduled for the June 12th. 12th came, and went. No show. I called. Why didnt you come and get your crap? Oh, you're scheduled for the 13th. I yelled, but fine. Whatever. 13th is today. Guess what. ITS STILL THERE! I just got off the phone. Guy tells me, you're scheduled for the 17th. I lost it. I offered to buy the cooler. 150 bucks for a used refurbished cooler. I can get a new one for that. a good new one. So I told him. TELL YOUR DRIVER, IF HE DOESNT SHOW UP ON THE 17TH, I WILL GO OUTSIDE AND SMASH EVERYTHING WITH A HAMMER. That seemed to shake him up a bit. He said he would prioritize my pickup. They double-billed me. I closed my account. They finally picked up the water cooler and then billed me another month's rental. Now they are charging me late fees for a rental payment I never owed them in the first place. I've sent many written communications and have received written responses, apparently generated by AI. I'm reading all the complaints here about the rebranding of a Alhambra to Primo Waters and I agree with everything that everyone here has said where Primo has no customer service skills and is not providing the service that we used to have with Alhambra. As read and some of these comments, I've reached out sent messages left messages on the online account site and no one bothers to get back to us with a resolution to the issue. They are charging us for service already billed and paid and then they have the audacity to suspend our delivery , when error is in their end and not ours. We will be looking to see where else we can contract for water delivery because Prima is not cutting it. Note, nothing to do with a driver as they have all been nice but rather upper management and the way this company is ran. Unacceptable! read more

This company is awful. We have tried several times to stop this company from dropping off more water than we need. On top of this we are charged fees that total more than our actual order. We put the account on autopay and I received a late charge. It took forever to get ahold of an actual person for an explanation and was told gee sorry I'll send a request to have it removed. When I checked and it wasn't credited I tried to call again and was told to send an email. I'd give no stars. Worst service ever since merging with ReadyRefresh. I left ReadyRefresh before going to Primo. Now with the merger we are experiencing the same service we had with ReadyRefresh. The service is absolutely horrible. We've had our deliveries rescheduled with no warning, can't get through to customer service, they can't find the account that I have but they can find a way to take my money, they never redeliver if they screw up the delivery you have to wait until your next delivery date, had deliveries scheduled where it said on its way then all of a sudden no delivery, horrible communication, I can go on & on. Right now a payment is pending for a delivery that NEVER happened but said it was on its way. Calling Monday to cancel service. Do not waste your time with this company. I have been an Alhambra customer for many years. Until Covid hit I have never had any complaints with Alhambra and their service. Since then their service has been nothing short of terrible. The beginning of this year my watercooler was leaking and it needed to be replaced. It took weeks for Alhambra to respond. When they finally did, they dropped the cooler off outside my office door without any installation. I had instructed them several times during what hours this office was open and was assured that they would be able to accommodate me. The new cooler was defective- no hot water. The next cooler was defective again- no cold water. They attempted to charge me a service charge for exchanging the faulty water coolers with a new water cooler. When I questioned them on this they threatened to send me to collection even though all my bills had been paid, except the charge for the exchange to a new water cooler ( twice). When I attempted to call them to settle this issue, I found out that their system does not recognize me as a customer anymore. In short, their service is terrible! I am currently looking into other water delivery services in my area and I am cancelling Alhambra. read more

I have never experienced this kind of poor service with any company. Everything was great until Alhambra merged with Ready Refresh who then merged with Primo. We were supposed to get a delivery every two weeks and on 6/3 they never showed. I checked my account online and they postponed it a week. Then 3 more times this week they postponed it again by 1-2 days and now it's supposedly scheduled for Monday, but that will likely get delayed. Yet I was charged $48 for my service this month even though I haven't recieved any water and have been out of water for going on 3 weeks. It is the middle of summer and we need our water. This is the most unbelievable customer experience I have ever dealt with in my life. Over the past two day we have tried to contact them about our delivery to no avail. The chat representatives have said our driver will call us. Have heard nothing. We are now out of water and it is effecting our business. It was supposed to arrive yesterday during our business hours, we had an employee stay an hour after closing and no one ever showed.
