If I could give 0 stars (since the merger with Primo Brands) I would! First off the service and still water delivery provided by ReadyRefresh to Vacaville was awesome!! The delivery, pickup of bottles, and customer service was more than any customer could ask for. Our driver would deliver water into our garage and we appreciated him sooo much. Sorry I don't know his name but we enjoyed years of kind, helpful service and great Calistoga brand water. However Primo Brands is a joke! The automated greeting on their phone number (800) 274-5282 states the hold time exceeds 30 minutes however I was on hold twice for over an hour. Then the 3rd time I was disconnected at noon. I guess it was lunch time. Never got through on the phone so I took to social media where someone responded quickly on FB. More about that later. Driver: Delivery driver Joe is rude, condescending, and isn't truthful. On his first visit he showed up unscheduled, unannounced, brought 15 gallons of Alhambra water (instead of our usual Calistoga water), and said there was a merger so they no longer carried Calistoga water. After delivery I went on the ReadyRefresh website, and observed Calistoga water WAS still available on their website. FB: I advised a representative on FB Messenger about the abovementioned delivery. Another (complimentary) delivery was scheduled for the following week to fulfill the Calistoga water order. Except when Joe came out he still didn't deliver as promised. Again I contacted FB, and they scheduled a 3rd visit to occur in 2 days. However, on the 2nd day around noon we decided to check to get an ETA only to discover the order had been cancelled, and our next delivery date changed to June - weeks away. Driver: When Joe showed up for the 2nd delivery he got out of the truck, and instead of opening the truck doors containing water he approached us stating, he "thought he was here the week prior, and he STILL didn't have Calistoga water." I advised of my conversation on FB subsequent to his prior visit. He didn't care. It wasn't until a lot of back and forth did he admit he actually had 1 bottle of Calistoga on the truck. He asked if we wanted that? REALLY?! Yes!! The whole point for the return visit. He stated he had 3 bottles when his truck was loaded but he gave the other 2 to someone else. Wait what? So we're cancelling. We prefer not to change to another brand of water. Calistoga water was our favorite, and given the rough merger transition, driver demeanor, and delivery service we're done. We were referred to ReadyRefresh based on our relationship with Costco, and have subscribed for years. I notice Primo Brands is now the water delivery service for Costco members. Hope that changes because Primo is anything but prime. From telephone service to delivery drivers and product selection this company leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I started service with this company at the beginning of the year because I wanted to do something different for the new year which was reduced my plastic use. So I initiated the service I with glass bottles so I want springwater and glass bottles which is $40 deposit for the bottle and then you get a 5 gallon bottle for like $17 or something like that which is fine because I'll make that investment because I want to be intentional about how I'm using plastic in my home and have some good clean crisp spring water so boom soon as I sign up for the service the Water and dispenser came in the next day. It was like maybe $160 for the first insulation which basically he just dropped it off my front door but my son put it together and we were fine two weeks later same thing as but they wanted to bring plastic bottles. I told them that I don't want plastic. I want GLASS and it was fixed two weeks later. In month 2 I paid my bill the Sunday before my scheduled delivery and checked the app to confirm delivery.. However, mysteriously throughout the delivery day my appointment disappeared, and they skipped my delivery and that went on 4 weeks, skipping 2 deliveries and I ran out of water before that initial delivery. date So if I'm gonna rely on them solely for drinking water, it's going to be a problem . They're not consistent and they don't listen to the customer. They are going to stick on that every two week schedule on the same day at same time and they're not gonna make any accommodations or or make adjustments even if it's their oversight. read more

I used to be with Alhambra and never had a single issue, but since they sold to ReadyRefresh, it's been a circus. My delivery is now over two weeks late. Every day I get a fresh email saying my order has been rescheduled, like some kind of disappointing advent calendar. Meanwhile, I run an office of 40+ people who are parched and starting to eye the potted plants. Yesterday I called and spoke with a very apologetic rep who promised with the confidence of a pinky swear that my water would be delivered Friday. Guess what? Just got another email saying Monday. At this point, I half-expect them to push it out to 2026. Hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Do not use this company if you ever want to cancel. They never stop charging your card. I have 3 case numbers for closed account, purchased water dispenser and final closed account. I have continuing issues over fraudulent charges to the account after the case numbers were generated and the account closed. I have spoken to people I can name, who promised the account is closed, and I'm still getting invoices. At this point, the invoices are demanding payment, so the charges have not started up again, but I have to keep checking because these b-s-a-ds keep weaseling into my card and restarting charges. Service has gone down significantly since they became primo brands and the cost has almost doubled. They took away my veterans discount without telling me then overcharged me. They did a great job with the first delivery it was on time for a dispenser and a 5 gallon water bottle. It all went downhill from there they never delivered another bottle of water even though we were ordering the water. They did deliver another dispenser but no water. I canceled them the third week and put everything on the porch and told them to come get their stuff. That took them two trips. I had been trying to get water for a month and my empty bottles picked up with NO LUCK! My order would keep getting pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed as I called and called every time with their "guarentee" they would be out on the next day. Putting my empty bottles on my porch back in my house back on porch and back in. Hold times exceeding 1 hour every time as well. One of those hold times at the end of the day on a Friday, I was able to research a local company, contact them and they called me MONDAY MORNING to set up my account and I had water by Thursday of that week. I have since CANCELLED my account with Primo and I have been trying to get NINE - 5 Gallon water jugs picked up from my home so I can get my deposit back. I have talked to multiple managers. After attempting to schedule a pick up of the equipment more than THREE TIMES we took it outside and left it. Three different call center reps later, no one has shown up. Delivery recently has been reliable in terms of receiving water. I buy their Calistoga Spring water which is very good. They recently added Saratoga sparkling spring water which also is very good. It is almost the same price as the Crystal Geyser SPARKLING carbonated water which now is discontinued. Trader Joes replaced it with carbonated TAP (they call it PLAIN) water which tastes awful. 3 out the last 4 months the delivery man did not credit me with all of the empty bottle deposits that I was due. I had to argue with the rude arrogant phone woman who put me on hold while she counted my recent bottles in & out. She returned to say she was giving me a credit. If I could give Vallejo Ready Refresh (aka Primo Brands, don't be fooled) zero stars, I would. This company is a joke. We've had to physically drive back our empty bottles on multiple occasions because the driver either "forgot" or straight up refused to take them. Not only is that a hassle we shouldn't have to deal with, but when we call in to try and sort it out, the call center is comically useless. They never get anything done, and they definitely don't care about helping you. To make matters worse, we were randomly locked out of our account and couldn't get through to a single human being who could help. No emails. No call backs. Just endless dead ends and hold music. And let's not forget the drivers themselves--rude, dismissive, and act like they're doing you a favor just by showing up. Oh, and that slick rebrand to "Primo Brands"? Yeah, don't fall for it. If I could give negative stars I would. I have been using this service for over year and never had an issue until the merger. They sent me water that I did not ask for or schedule and then charged me for it a month later. When I went online to cancel the service and have them come pick everything up, not only did they not come pick up the stuff on the day they said they would, I now have lost access to the website so I can't go on there and talk to customer service anymore, I can't remove my credit card off of their website or view my account. Primo/Readyfresh, if my card is charged I will report it as fraud so please resolve this immediately. This is totally ridiculous that people have to go through this for water. Like many of the other reviews, Primo deserves a zero. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I loved Alhambra. I have not received a delivery since 5/1. They lied about delivery dates 5 different times. They actually recorded a delivery that didn't happen and now we have accumulated 6 glass bottles sitting on our front deck. My sister tripped on one almost fell down because who freaking has to keep that many bottles. After hours of being on hold so many different times, I finally got a human to ask if I could drop them off myself. Guess the answer? NO! I think we all deserve free water for dealing with this company, their customer service and lack of deliveries. They completely missed a scheduled delivery and didn't bother to advise us. I waited for 45 minutes to talk to customer service. The earliest next delivery date was a week away. I had to contact them certified mail to cancel my service, yet they still billed my credit card over and over for substituting my arrowhead water with Alhambra water. instead of $9 per bottle they billed me over $35 per bottle. what a rip off. A lack of "reasonable" customer service from bottle delivery, empties pickup, to default tip handicaps are the tip of the iceberg. These themes likely repeat across reviews. RR must have happy customers - probably commercial accounts with large orders - and I don't fall into that category. There seems to be a disconnect between corporate strategy to deliver residentially, and drivers' obvious feelings of chagrin about the stop and go for a 4 bottle drop/pickup. When we moved to Sonoma county 7 years ago this service was great! Over the last 2 years it has gotten worse and worse. The deliveries are never consistent and they are constantly changing our delivery days at the last minute. Finally decided to take a break from the service for a while only to find out after they told me they would be refunding my $20 deposit that I placed 7 years ago that they would credit that against the "refurbishing fee" of $50 for the equipment. So, I've been spending $40-$50 per month with this company for 7 years and they charge me $50 to return the water dispenser??? I thought I might return to service after they smoothed out their staffing issues (we've all had to deal with that nightmare and I do understand how hard it is) but after that ridiculous policy I will NEVER use this company again! If I could give zero stars I would!!! This company needs a class on how to retain customers and create new ones. You may have made $50 from this ridiculous policy but I will be sure to tell everyone I know never to use this company!!! Not a great ROI. Not a great business model. read more
