BeastBay almost blew my house up!…read more Another thing to note, if you are considering doing business with them, is that they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau due to 2 other complaints they did not respond to. I had used BeastBay Plumbing once before when we had a drain problem. They were responsive, and the tech was friendly and informative. He fixed the problem, and we signed up for their loyalty program. I knew our water heater was nearing the end of its lifespan, and I called them to get a quote. Sydney came out and explained the options. I ended up going for the tankless water heater. I also got quotes to replace a kitchen faucet and install a new shower fixture. The techs who showed up were courteous, but they arrived a couple of hours later than I had expected. I anticipated the faucet and shower fixture jobs to go fairly quickly, but they took almost two hours. Then they started work on the water heater. What Sydney hadn't discussed was the need for direct power to the tankless system or a new vent. The tech wanted to open the ceiling up, but as it's a two-story house with a tile roof, that was a hard no. They ended up doing a vent through the side of the house. At first, they said it would be a two-day job, which wasn't mentioned when I booked, but after getting the side vent in, they said they'd finish that day. Here is where things go very, very badly. The next day, I went into the garage to move a car. I was overwhelmed by the smell of gas. I called BeastBay, and the phone center told me to call 911, which I did. In the meantime, I opened the garage door. I realized after I hit the button that, should anything spark, the whole place could go up. Thankfully, it didn't. The fire department came out, pinpointed that BeatBay had not tightened the gas connection to the tankless unit and turned it off. Then began a 2+ hour marathon of calls to BeastBay to get someone out immediately. Except they didn't. I had to call the office 4 times and then had 3 separate conversations with them. In the meantime, Sydney came back out to see what was up. I explained the severity of the gas leak and told him I wasn't happy he hadn't mentioned needing direct power or the need to re-vent from the previous water heater. Sydney indicated there would be a small rebate, and they would service the unit going forward free of charge. The tech showed up, apologized for not securing the gas line, tightened it up, and left. This was a week and a half ago. I heard nothing more from BeastBay. I called the office on Wednesday and asked that they memorialize what Sydney had said during our meeting in writing. The woman who answered, Sarah?, said she'd have to check with Sydney, in a tone that said she didn't believe he had offered anything. She came back and said that was correct, and she'd send it over by email. Nothing was forthcoming. I've called the office twice today, twice no one answered, and the third time it went to a general voicemail. I received a phone call 2 + weeks after the incident. The woman I spoke to apologized, but assumed everything was fine. I explained how VERY unhappy I was with both the work they did and their lack of responsiveness. She said she would talk to the owner and get back to me yesterday or today. No call. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. To say I'm disappointed in the service is an understatement. This is a massive failure on every front.

However…read morewhen we purchased the business we purchased the assets of the business (the equipment, hardware of the business) we did not purchase any of the debt of the business and any contracts that were in the previous owners name had to be changed into our name because our business was a new corporation and this in order to continue the contract the contract needed to be in the name of our corporation and not the previous owners. All other providers the previous owner contracted understood this and happily opened up contracts with us in our corporation name because like I had mentioned before when we purchased the business we purchased the assets of the business but not any of the debt which included contracts that the owner owed or was in contract with. Neptune Solutions continues to try hold us to the previous owners debt. They say we owe them for charges that we did not make prior to us having ownership of the business. So, we informed them we would not like to continue a contract with them and to please pick up the equipment. They refused to do so!! They sent us to collections, and we informed collections that we purchased the business and this debt was in the former business owners name, and collections agreed with us and promptly closed the collections (especially since the amount was like 500+ dollars). Seeing this Neptune solutions, decided to open up the account again and start charging us again (to have a higher amount to collect on since the 500-+ charge was too small) but get this, THIS TIME THEY WERE CHARGING US FOR SERVICE ON EQUIPMENT THEY DID NOT COME OUT TO SERVICE. Since 2021, we took down their equipment, it doesn't work, and no one has come by. We've asked them to pick it up, and take it with them, and they refuse to do so. The one time someone came out he also refused to take it. It's been sitting unused for 2 years. Color me surprised when we received a new charge for January 2023!!!! And even if they wanted to argue they came on the premises and serviced without us knowing we have cameras and have footage that shows that they have not been to our business in 2 years. So the charges on its face do not have any merit and further go to show the deceptive practices they will employ to get money out of a small business. I am quite surprised I have to take it to these Lengths. We have been trying to get out of this contract for at least 2 years but they refuse despite the contract is not in our corporation name and we've asked nicely to please let us out of the contract. All of the charges they've made and included on the invoice were charges they fraudulently made because we have not used their system since 2021. If you are a small business RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. They use deceptive practices to keep taking money from you. We've emailed and asked nicely for them to take the equipment and let us out of the contract since we did not sign a contract with them and they continue to hold us to this contract even though we did a asset purchase and NOT A STOCK PURCHASE. Please do not do business with them!!! We've tried for 2 years to settle this. But they have not serviced anything or taken their equipment.

He said he couldn't fix that as it needs some special valve and requires a lot of work etc. So - instead, he recommended just changing the toilet. While it's not ideal as it costs me a little more, I went along with the suggestion to save time. After installing the toilet, he texted me that everything is done and asked for payment, which I shortly paid in full. 10 min later - my tenant texted me a picture to show protruding uncovered long screws from the base of the toilet and asking why the man left. I texted Mike and he said he intends to go back to fix that up next time. Though why he never mentioned about that unfinished work while asking for payment? In between my communication with him, my tenant texted rude words to him complaining about the "half ass job". He got upset and let me know he won't go back to finish. He won't refund anything either. He'll just leave it undone - with hazardous protruding screws. While I understand why he's upset about my tenant's rude words, it's unprofessional to leave a job undone, while pocketing the full payment. Later - I wrote to him to share my disappointment with his decision on no partial refund and no finishing the work and that I'd write up a Yelp review. And he texted me back with a threat that if I do, he would delete his Yelp account and would sue me in court. Sigh.
