The KJ is awesome Scotty is one of the absolute best kj's I've ever had the pleasure of working with! He knows how to work a crowd, his sound is on point, he keeps things rolling and even in a 2 hour rotation you still don't get bored!! He is also a great confidence booster! This guy makes you feel like a million bucks! I've only been on Wednesday nights for Will's show once but he too is very friendly and encouraging. The bartenders and staff are friendly and fast! The other patrons are friendly and I many times leave having had random people buying my husband and I shots! I love the feel of this place! The prices are great, the food is awesome! If you come here don't upset one of the locals! Got my tab because I asked if a patron liked newer country music, he raised his voice to say absolutely not and I'm the one that got my tab. They have "free" poker that you can't join if they don't know you or you are too good. Went there on a Saturday afternoon, there was a poker game starting I asked to join but they said I couldn't because some lady may show up. They had 6 players only. Do not go to this place! It's truly surprising because I have been many times in the last month but today i was an outsider and everyone made sure I felt that way. So crazy. I actually really like this place until today. This is a standard dive bar. Food is decent for bar food. Highly recommend the fried mushrooms. The quesidllas are good as well and I hear the steak sandwich is worth getting. Here's where they really need to reevaluate. Service is horrendous if you are not a "regular" or sitting directly at the bar. They refuse to come to the tables. If they do, they address one person and run away without addressing everyone in proximity. They don't bring menus to you upon coming to the table. They don't greet you as a server should. Food is delivered without napkins/silverware. They have no problem telling you that they won't come to the tables either. I'm guessing as long as they stand behind the bar, they are doing you a service. I work in the industry, and I am shocked at the attitude towards customers. The food was not so good (Chicken Wings, under cooked) and the service at the bar was lacking. The female bartender was pouring shots for herself and her two friends sitting next to me. She was super interested in visiting with her friends and coworkers, but failed to give good service to me. They gossip about the coworkers and their family members that they say also work there. Love it! I will definitely be back. So, this is a neighborhood bar in a strip mall. But, its not the dive you expect. It's nice, the service is good, the drinks are cheap and happy hour is a great deal ($2 coors light drafts). While their menu includes the usual fried favorites (mushrooms, zucchini, cheese, onion rings) it also has a selection of real food as well. This is a neat little place where everyone knows your name if you go there enough. The service was great and food was priced about right while being tasty. They had a good stock of beer to choose from and if you want to play shuffleboard then its free. The pool tables are in the back for a fee and you can catch a game on their nice TVs, so stop by and have a beer, some food, and watch the game. read more

Okay, so you wanna stop in a place to just have a couple beers after work. Unless you're carrying cash for it, don't stop here. Not only does the place smell like piss, old people, and wet dog, you are reminded by more than one sign that minimum payment is $10 on a credit card but "ATMS are available." Well, I (reasonably) thought that a DEBIT card is not a CREDIT card, especially since the bartendress didn't bother to say anything about it when I ordered. Wrong. Use any kind of plastic for a couple of beers, and you either have to tip the server to get to $10 or pay fees on using their out of network ATM. A few things: first, it should be very telling to you, the customer, why a bar business would have to resort to such a policy in the first place. This joint is a bar rescue situation that needs John Taffer more than a one-legged ballerina needs another leg. Head to comparatively dive-ish Varsity Inn on Dry Creek & University, and no such thing will happen. There, you can actually have 2-3 beers on a debit OR credit card and not have a "mandatory minimum" to spend.) Second. update your damn handmade signs. There's a difference between a credit card and a debit card. Yes, really. This shouldn't require a college education to figure out. If it's BOTH types of cards that must have a $10 minimum, then just SAY that, and I am appropriately forewarned. If you say credit cards (like you do), then it's reasonable for customers to conclude you do not mean debit cards (which are not credit cards). If I can't walk into your divey smelly-ass strip malll joint and have a couple of beers without paying some kind of penalty, I'm never coming back. What a joke. Avoid at all costs. The people who do come here are a handful or two of older regulars, who are called by their first names, and must spend more than 10 dollars. read more

Had been coming here for years. Staff was always good and the regulars are welcoming. Moved away just before covid and came back after a year and half of being away. So from my experience all I can say is if you're under 50 and don't eat at the bar, don't expect much from this place. Although the only server there was pleasant, she also seemed more concerned with her "regulars" that were posted up at the bar which I swear to god no one was under 50!!! However, if you want to go somewhere for lunch where you don't get bothered and not in a huge rush and want something inexpensive and no shee shee foo foo then here's your spot. This place is pretty sucky. First, the food is 2nd rate. I had a BLT that just looked like they did a Bacon Cheeseburger and removed the burger. How lame. Second, I think the boyfriend of one of the bartender's was given free unlimited usage of the jukebox and so it just played his shitty Eagles' songs the whole. I haven't been here in many years, and stopped in tonight while I was in town. I ordered a bowl of green chili and some wings. The chili packed some heat and is still as good as I remembered. Beer came in a frosty mug. Waitresses still snarky and a few of the same faces sitting at the bar. Pool sticks were straight at $1 a game and I didn't find the music too loud at all. This place is normally so packed and loud on a Friday night you'd need sign language to place an order. I left at 9:00pm so can't speak for the late crowd, but I still love this place! read more

The other reviews sum Alibi's up well- it is a small neighorhood bar in a strip mall, from the outside looks divey but it is clean- 2 or 3 out of 5 stars is the best it will do. Very clique-y with regulars, if you start a conversation they will talk with you but if you're not one of them you are not one of them, this includes the waitstaff. The bar hosts its own Texas Hold'em tournament Saturday afternoons and while outsiders are allowed to play the insiders and regulars can make it uncomfortable at times. We were really dismayed at the number of "black jokes" made at an African-American man who was playing one day, he laughed and took it in stride but I couldn't help thinking "what if we started making bald jokes, how would the bald guys feel?" Same thing happened to another guy when the jokes started about Democrats, he finally got up and left. Ha ha yuk yuk. read more

Unfortunately I won't be coming here again. After two times of overhearing people say racist things and then even trying to pick one of the people's brain and reason with them, I have found that the clientele here truly believe that minorities etc are BS and shouldn't be here. I am not trying to be biased in what I am saying but an example would be the older woman who told me that I have privileged because I am Hispanic. I was told that because of that and not he fact that I am bilingual etc that I got a job because by law companies have to hire certain amount of people. It was disgusting and the bartender simply said this is a very conservative clientele so it's just what I have to deal with. I am baffled. Now that I look around I see that there isn't one minority... wasn't looking for them but seeing as how I have had these encounters I can see why I won't even notice at all. Welcome to trump America.
