Amazing food and service, always showing denver sports games too. No coors light, but still great draft options!

We were looking for something to eat and that was open late. Found this little gem on yelp and thought we would check it out. The service was great and very quick even with them being short handed. The ambiance was lively. Surprisingly for being a bar they had really good food. We all had the chicken sandwich and one of our friends had the fish n chips. We started off with the fried pickles, yummy! They have pool tables, tv's music, you name it. Best part is they are open late! read more

We were looking to discover a new lunch place around town for a good burger and Yelp suggested Lucky Mutt. The place is deceiving. From the outside it looks like a small local bar, but once you get inside you realize it's a HUGE meeting place. They have pool tables ($1 a game), video games and a big, long bar with lots of TVs within easy view. This would be a great place to come alone or with friends to watch sports. (Especially if you're a Nebraska football fan.) But sports isn't the only reason to check out this place. We ordered the BYO (Build Your Own) burgers from their new menu. They were juicy and delicious. I got mine with some pulled pork which was also very good. Our server, Paul J. was super helpful because we told him it was our first time there. Our food came quickly and Paul was attentive with our drinks. The place also has a nice homey feel to it. The name "Lucky Mutt" hints of a dog theme and the walls are covered with pictures of people's pets. The manager collects pictures of dogs that patrons email him. Then he prints them off and frames them for the walls. It's a wonderfully nice touch to make this place even more comfortable. 5/16/24 update - the male Thursday server is not attentive at all and could care less if we needed anything else after my husbands chicken sandwich and our beers were delivered. We were never asked if we wanted a beer refill and when we got our check from another server after trying to flag him down, we got double charged for beers. It's fine if you're busy but spread the love and check on all your patrons, not just regulars. Be better. Original post 2022: Went for a late dinner and a beer this evening since everything else in Littleton was closed after 10pm. It didn't disappoint! Vicki was an amazing server, so friendly and helpful. The bar has lots of TVs, a couple video games, pools tables and an outdoor patio with fire pit. I've almost stopped in several time before since we live close and I always imagined it a small bar inside but it's actually quite large! The food was pretty good for bar food, nothing I'm dying to come back for though. I had a Buffalo chicken salad and my husband had the Denver cheesesteak sandwich with au jus and tater tots. I will definitely keep this on my list of late night eats in Littleton and I look forward to coming back during the day to do some patio beers on a hot day. read more

Came here for lunch since my friend was dog sitting and really wanted the dog to join. They are very dog friendly and let the dogs inside. The service was good, they were nice but not too attentive. It took a while to be asked our order and also to pay the bill but no real complaints. It's more a bar/diner. The food was ok. My burger had sooo much pepper or something that tasted like it...almost made me sneeze every time I took a bite. The fries were very good. My friend had the chicken wings which she liked. We walked in recently and were happy the kitchen was open late. So miss little things like open late / open all night details that Houston offers. We've been in Denver almost 8 years and I still miss these details. Anywho.... I digress. We ordered drinks and food: Breakfast Burger and a bowl of Green Chili soup. Both were amazing. Pretty disappointed with this place, the food was great! but the service not so much. We sat down and got our drink order taken and then our server didn't come over for at least 10 minutes, we moved to bar and it was another 7 minutes until the bartender came over. Well, this place used to be a hidden gem. I would suspect that the owner knows that this bar is located in Colorado... Bud Light's on tap but not Coors Light? We ordered a boat-load of food. The tater tots with green chili is good but no longer on the menu. Don't order Shawns Chicken Sandwich. He must be a scrawny twerp. If you ask for buffalo sauce and blue cheeee dressing they'll charge you dearly. Out waitress had the personality of a cardboard box. Some of the support staff and the lady that we suspect is the manager seem to be quite nice. Our large expensive order seemed to be a chore for the staff. A 16 ounce can of Coors light during happy hour was five dollars. Pricing could've been better I think if they had it on tap. The cheeseburger was actually quite good. The Philly was small and overpriced and seemed like it was on a hotdog bun. We were out celebrating a birthday, but that meant nothing to this crew. This place is at least 7 miles from my house, but I don't think I could ever make the trek again. I wish the Lucky Mutt good luck in the future but I am not sure you can't remain in business with our experience. You might be better off going to the dog park. By the way, what is a processing fee? Maybe you could let us know about your processing fee on the menu somewhere. read more

Spacious and welcoming when you come in (good call on the shorter and comfortable bar area seats!), sports games galore, pool tables, juke box (yay), super friendly staff & good drinks. My husband was drooling over the burger & that says a lot. What a find! I'm an out-of-towner , who frequents the area & love to find new places. I had lunch with a friend of mine here and was quite happy. First of all...I must admit, pulling into the parking lot, this place is not much to look at....may even downright questionable looking, but Undeterred we went in. Inside the vibe was very much a sports bar. We were there midday on a weekday and it was not crowded. Our server was extremely friendly and we enjoyed some good chit-chat with her as well. I ordered the French dip w/ onion rings. The presentation was a step above for this kind of joint. Right down to the textured bun. The sandwich was exceptionally tasty. I'm a fan of straightforward French dips (which this was) & this one made a great impression. My lunch partner ordered a burger topped w/ blue cheese and sweet potato waffle fries. I really enjoyed myself at this laid back bar & grille. If you come in with the right expectations and the mentality to knock back a few drinks and enjoy some solid bar food then you're in luck! There's a few arcade games and plenty of space to sit down. My favorite area is the backside of the bar with the leather lounge chairs. Way easier to grab a drink and the attention and service from the staff is on point. It's so clean here and they music is really great. They have a touchtunes jukebox which is fun for those who have the app. The wings were a hit here and I just about ate them to the bone. This place will steal your money. I and a girlfriend stopped by for 2 drinks. I originally started with my card, but at the end of the night I had said that I will pay with cash instead. The woman understood whom was helping us, said okay. Two weeks later I have a bill on my account without my full plus tip cash payment. So this crooked chick took my $70 and charged me for the bill. It was great. Surprisingly so. So much food these days in restaurants can okay, but not outstanding. The food was presented well. The taste of the food met the expectation I had after I experienced the presentation of it. The server was wonderful. She had suggestions of what we could get. She was totally comfortable with waiting on us. She was good at her job. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing. It made it easy to enjoy the meal when you are so comfortable. My beau and I went out for dinner just to get out of the house. We came back to one of our favorite spots. We were sat at the bar. Due to covid, their menu was limited. We ordered beers, a ceasar salad, their smashed tators, and dry rub wings and shared. I will say that the amount of food that was served this time around was not a lot compared to the last couple times we were here. We figure it was because of covid and businesses trying to stay afloat which we totally understand and glad that we can come by to support.
