If you are looking for an Irish beer, this place has four of the greats. If you're looking for Irish food you won't find any here. Unfortunately the food is what you could find at any pub. First time here last night after having seen it from the outside once before. My brother and I stopped in for a few beers late Saturday night following a concert at Red Rocks. As you'd expect, they were busy, but we ordered some Smithwycks at the bar and found a spot outside on a nice night. An hour or so later, I made my way back to the bar to get a second round. The bartender, Tierney, remembered my name, which surprised me considering how busy they were. I got the beers and moved back outside. An hour or so later, Tierney came out to check on us and others on the patio, and we chatted for a minute or two. Nice guy...very friendly, and the ability to make you feel welcome without ignoring anyone else. Too bad more bar/beertenders can't be like that these days. I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is epic. Love the layout, decor, the outside design. The beer tastes exactly as it should, like beer. I'm a simple man with Coors daydreams and whiskey nightmares. We stopped in today to have a St. Patrick's Day beer and have done corned beef. It was extremely busy do service was basically non-resistant. The bartenders were friendly but rushed but I could hardly be upset about that since the was packed. We couldn't really find a place to sit so we had to stand at a table in the parking lot. Something many people had to resort to. The live Irish step dancers were wonderful and a joy to watch. The entire place is very friendly feelings and very Irish. We had a great time but will have to come back when it's not so busy to get a better feel for the place. The drinks were reasonably priced and the man at the door checking IDs and giving out the green bracelets was professional and polite. All in all, even as busy as it was, we still enjoyed ourselves. read more

Your extensive Irish beers on tap, electronic jukebox and free snacks in the corner, make you that much cooler. You're easy to find, and street parking is simple. Your massive televisions and killer Sunday specials are the best way to kick of a Broncos game, and your prices are even better. Don't get me started on your staff. Not only are they super friendly, but they pour the perfect Guinness. They can handle the crowds at St Patty's and are adamant about the sign in the women's bathroom - code words to exchange with the bartender if you're feeling threatened. I frequent this place because I work in the area. It if often a great time, however whenever I go in and Brian is working, I immediately feel I unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Each time he is the bartender on site, he ignores guests, is rude, and turns on all the closing lights to rush out guests before 11:30. read more

We were visiting Littleton one afternoon and stopped in Ned Kelly's to get a drink before we left the town. From the outside it looks like it seats 7, but once you walk through the bar area, there's a back room with darts and tables. I believe I also saw an outside area in the very back. I think the white house next to it is also connected to the bar because there is a little patio next to the red building, behind the fence of the white house, that appears to be a place bar patrons can sit. In the little time we were there I got the impression that a lot of regulars come there. The bartender knew the names of the people who came in and other patrons knew each other. It seems like a nice local place to drink. read more

I definitely think they are short on workers.. as is everyone else of course. Food was all good, we were starving after our bike ride. Great place and awesome people! Limited outdoor seating but nice setup. I got the Jamaican bowl and the plantains were something I hadn't tried before. They were good, but definitely was an interesting twist to the dish. Look, this place is a dive. Cheap drinks, super casual atmosphere. Would typically just go with a straight 3 stars here, if not for that fateful Wednesday night at Ned Kelly's that would change my life forever. I had planned to meet a few buds for some drinks there, and we were a little dismayed to find that the only table that was open at the time was a small high top, wait for it, right next to the karaoke set-up. I've suffered through enough soul-crushing renditions of Love Shack to last a lifetime, so we were fixing to leave once the karaoke started. But then it happened. This mystical man, in a long, tan overcoat, no hair, and the voice of an angel stepped up to the mic and absolutely slayed "I Believe I Can Fly". This is not a joke. I don't even like that song. Nobody does. The only halfway redeeming quality it has is as a feature on the Space Jam soundtrack. Y'all, this dude had tears streaming down my face as I struggled to comprehend how one stranger's vocal prowess could so readily cut straight through my heavily armored heart. I've seen Billy Joel slay at the Hollywood bowl, but friends, this was the best live vocal performance I have ever, or will ever, witness. Tucked away in downtown Littleton, it's still hard to miss with its bright red brick chummy exterior. What Ned lacks in size, it makes up in with it's crazy characters inside. Beautiful newly renovated on the inside and super friendly staff. It's a cozy little nice dive bar that keeps the drinks flowing for a chilly winter night or a rowdy summer evening. Good for happy hour as well. You will be all approached multiple times by different regulars just looking to chat and have a good time. Everyone is pretty friendly but you might run into a couple oddballs (doesn't every bar have a few? Gotta love 'em) This truly is an all ages bar (21+obv). Have been here on multiple occasions. Not impressed at all. Went to support a local business on our way home. We were told we could not bring in food since we had to go containers. We told them it was not a problem and placed the containers outside where we could see them. My fiancé attempted to order us drinks while I went outside and the bar tender turned an walked away and ignored him. If you are not apart of their click you are treated poorly. Had a few drinks with my mom and step dad on Friday night for happy hour. A very cozy little neighborhood bar, and their happy hour specials were quite a steal. $1.75 for a pint of Rolling Rock? Count me in! The patio out front is nice, though it is in the sun most of the day and can get quite warm! The service is fast and friendly, and I immediately felt welcomed. Probably my favorite part of this place is the building. This small, fire engine red building stands out on a side street off of downtown, enticing you to go inside and have a pint. This is probably a place I would go to for a cheap well drink, but that's the whole point. Between the four of us, it cost $13.00 for two beers and two gin n tonics. The waitress was friendly and quick, and knew the menu like the back of her hand. It seems like a lot of regulars go here, because every third person that walked in greeted the waitress like an old friend. I do have to dock points for using red solo cups for water. Felt a little college to me, but maybe that's the vibe they're going for. read more

Found ourselves exploring the burb of Littleton yesterday. After countless stores that consisted of identical wares - mom jeans with sparkles on their pockets, $11 bars of soap, cupcakes, etc. I was ready for a beer. Stat. And just like an oasis in the midst of this little cultural desert, Ned Kelley's appeared. We beelined it, going for a little hops-fueled respite before navigating the craft shops back to the car. We were not disappointed. The bar is laid out in a style I'm quite partial to - a long bar with plenty of bar stools for people, like me, to fall off of having a good time. Though clearly a locals bar, the bartender greeted us promptly upon walking in the door, like an angel of mercy after our tour of duty in suburbia. Within 30 seconds I had my choice of the 15 drafts on tap in, my hand. Bless you son. The crowd there was welcoming, despite our being from out of the neighborhood. We even made a new friend during our brief visit. Though we didn't stay for another beer, the bartender didn't miss a beat and was on top of it - asking us of we needed a refill before we were even empty. My wife and I have visited Ned's a few times in the past, and have always loved the local and relaxed vibe, but that's not why I'm writing this. I am writing this because my wife's purse was accidentally taken (long story involving alcohol..as I'm sure you could understand). What made this a significant emotional event was the fact that her purse contained her wallet, my wallet, and her car keys. We were stranded and the word vulnerable couldn't begin to describe the emotions we were going through. Thankfully the manager, Megan, swooped in to the rescue. I asked that she call the cops, which she did without hesitation. She then took my wife upstairs to look at the security footage in order to ID who took the purse. Next, she managed to track the phone number of the regulars who accidentally took my wife's purse. End state, Megan was on it. Considering it was completely my wife's and my fault for this all happening, Megan was nothing but friendly and sympathetic. We got the purse back, and Megan even got us two free drinks while we waited. I really appreciate everything Megan did for us. She truly went above and beyond. We bought everyone a drink to celebrate the purse's return, and the prevention of me having a straight up heart attack. We'll be back for sure...and we'll remember to keep tabs on our personal belongings like responsible adults in the future. read more

Driven by this place in downtown Littleton several times and finally decide to stop and check it out. They don't serve any food. I asked for a Guinness and it was $6 for a 20 oz. Now I thought that was expensive but as I was only going to have a beer or two and check it out wasn't really a concern. Until someone else walked in and the other bartender told them it was happy hour and that Guinness were $5. I got my bill $12 for 2 beers. I asked the bartender about what he said about happy hour and was told no he was wrong to charge them $5 and it actually is $6 a beer. Too expensive for a drink and don't trust the waitstaff. Give it a pass and go to the Celtic Tavern instead. read more
