We stopped in today to have a St. Patrick's Day beer and have done corned beef. It was extremely busy do service was basically non-resistant. The bartenders were friendly but rushed but I could hardly be upset about that since the was packed. We couldn't really find a place to sit so we had to stand at a table in the parking lot. Something many people had to resort to. The live Irish step dancers were wonderful and a joy to watch. The entire place is very friendly feelings and very Irish. We had a great time but will have to come back when it's not so busy to get a better feel for the place. The drinks were reasonably priced and the man at the door checking IDs and giving out the green bracelets was professional and polite. All in all, even as busy as it was, we still enjoyed ourselves.

Ned Kelly, I dig you. I love your bright brick building, cozy interior and I'm all about your outdoor patio. Your extensive Irish beers on tap, electronic jukebox and free snacks in the corner, make you that much cooler. You're easy to find, and street parking is simple. Your massive televisions and killer Sunday specials are the best way to kick of a Broncos game, and your prices are even better. Don't get me started on your staff. Not only are they super friendly, but they pour the perfect Guinness. They can handle the crowds at St Patty's and are adamant about the sign in the women's bathroom - code words to exchange with the bartender if you're feeling threatened. Although I've frequented your establishment a few times already, it hasn't been enough. I can't wait to make you my new best friend and soak up the last bit of summer on your patio. We were visiting Littleton one afternoon and stopped in Ned Kelly's to get a drink before we left the town. From the outside it looks like it seats 7, but once you walk through the bar area, there's a back room with darts and tables. I believe I also saw an outside area in the very back. I think the white house next to it is also connected to the bar because there is a little patio next to the red building, behind the fence of the white house, that appears to be a place bar patrons can sit. In the little time we were there I got the impression that a lot of regulars come there. The bartender knew the names of the people who came in and other patrons knew each other. It seems like a nice local place to drink.

Good drinks, good people, good times. Had some family in town and decided to try out a new spot. Didn't disappoint.

This is a great old school bar. Attentive bartender and a good selection of beers. Probably the best bar in downtown old Littleton.

They have a great staff, and make a wicked good Bloody Mary. You can also get the full epic menu from Grande Station #winning

Quality food and good service. I'd go again if I'm in the area. My son and I enjoyed the people, and had a good time.

And the last time, was no exception. I went and skeptically tried their Italian beef. This isn't Chicago, so finding a good Italian beef sandwich has been an adventure, and often a disappointment. But not at The Castle. The beef was great and the au juice was perfectly seasoned. If you're an Italian beef lover like me, make a point to visit the Castle.

I'm no stranger to dive bars, but the rest of my family was not very comfortable. So I'd say this is not a family-friendly establishment. Service was unreasonably slow for how unbusy they were. And I don't need to describe ambiance further because dive bars are dive bars. The food itself was supremely disappointing. People rave about these burgers? I feel incredibly lied to. They were pretty bad. I can taste when meat is low quality, and this is it. It's like finding the lowest quality frozen ground beef patties on manager special at Walmart. You're not going to get sick from it, but you're also not going to have the best meal. It just blows my mind that anyone would call these burgers good. Especially when there are plenty of decent burger places in Denver.

I have been wanting to play this golf course since DU took over the ownership, and finally got a…read morechance as a single on a Friday morning. First, I would say the course is really a challenging course, and a large part of that is due to the greens. It seems cliche to say that greens at a course are fast, yet, here it really rings true, so much so that you need to keep that in mind when you hit an approach shot. They are very true though, and once I got the speed, I putted really well. The course layout is also really nice, and very fair, with a good amount of landing room on most holes. The other pluses of the course were: Great beverage cart service. Well kept course overall Friendly staff The two complaints I have: The eighth hole from the blue/black tees is probably the worst hole I've ever played. It's a short par 4 that turns hard to the right, and the problem is that it is a completely blind tee shot over a native grass area. The only thing you can see is the top of the 150 yard marker. This would be fine if the hole was pretty open, but it's not. It's probably the smallest landing area on the course, especially considering the hard turn to the right. It's really easy to hit through the fairway and end up in a bad situation. The staff in the pro shop insist that the course is walkable, and that is just silly. There is so much distance in between holes that I ended up hopping on the back of the cart for the guys I was playing with about 8 or 9 times. I'm not saying that the walk is not possible. It is, but not if you have any hopes of maintaining pace of play. Hit 'em straight, or maybe with a slight draw.
